Negative experience: First time ever I walked out from a rehabilitation appointment that was supposed to support me. I had a very disappointing experience with Mike McLeod. Before even asking about my current activity level or what exercises I already do, he told me that I “need to do something.” Throughout the conversation, I felt talked down to rather than listened to, and he repeatedly asked me the same questions after I had already answered them. I came for professional support, not to feel judged or dismissed. His approach lacked the compassion and respect I would expect from a healthcare professional.

Fantastic experience: I’ve gone to Woolwich Physiotherapy for two separate injuries, a hamstring and shoulder. I’ve seen Scott both times and he is fantastic. He’s very personable and thorough and I like that he helps me understand why I’m doing each of the exercises. He is very patient helping me get the form just right.

Fantastic experience: I have had 2 knee replacements now and was lucky to have Scott help me with the long agonizing recovery. If I am having issues with scar tissue or IT band preventing me from maximizing the ever agonizing bend in the knee, Scott always seems to come up with alternative "tools" in his physio box. He helps gently align my kneecap, or utilizes cupping (which helps take away the pain in the IT band) and has even used acupuncture to help with the nasty insomnia that seems to come with the surgery. Although I didn't notice a difference in sleeping I did notice a huge difference in the swelling around my knee. When I have felt like I was going 1 step forward and 2 steps back in my progress, Scott is ever the positive optimist helping with all the exercises; positioning my leg angle or hip angle to ensure maximum efficiency with the exercise. He always gives me feedback and lets me know I'm accomplishing the angle of bend I need and pushing me for more successes in stair climbing and knee bends. I call him a magician and I should have posted my appreciation for Scott last year. Thankyou Scott for your expertise, positive communication and feedback and most of all, helping me achieve maximum recovery for these nasty knees!

Fantastic experience: Almost three months ago I broke my leg in a bicycle accident. Since my husband was already seeing Scott at Woolwich Physio, I decided I would also make that my place to go for rehab. For as tricky as this healing process has been for me, Scott has consistently been able to not just give me all the appropriate exercises to get me back on track again, but has also been able to calm my mind about how long this process would take. He is so good at what he does and I feel completely comfortable under his care. Add to that is his great personality and friendly interaction with his clients, and this experience is as perfect as it gets. I am so grateful to have found him!

Fantastic experience: I saw Jared a couple of years ago when I injured my back while caring for my elderly mother. So when I started to experience severe pain in my feet due to nerve issues I knew where to go. He identified the source of the issue, created an exercise regimen to help alleviate the pain and even sent me instructions with pictures on how to perform the exercises properly. I have experienced a great improvement in how I’m feeling. Jared really knows his stuff. My therapist Kaela assessed my situation and started me on my road to recovery through treatments and specific exercises.
