Fantastic experience: If you’re debating trying….DON’T. I suffered for around 5 years, being sent here and there and dr to dr and this test to that treatment. I finally just made an appointment as what did i have to loose. After a few months and following the treatment that was laid out for me i started to feel some relief. Now two years later, I’m able to sit without my back burning and i also learned ice is my friend not heat. I would also like to just mention how friendly and efficient Shannon is and also Dr. Joe. Both Dr. Joe and Shannon have assisted my physical health from having trouble walking ( Feb 2025) to walking comfortably; improved posture and preventing further damage to occur on my spine. They supported and listened to my fears and back pain ( hip/knee issues) with patience, understanding and recommended pain relief when asked. I followed the recommended program ; now go for monthly maintenance treatments. Fantastic experience: I was skeptical before my first visit as was never keen on chiropractors. But I began treatment more than a year ago and have not had a sciatic nerve episode since. This treatment begins with the Dr reviewing x-rays and going forward with a treatment plan. He is extremely knowledgeable and uses new high tech way of chiropractic treatment. Upon my feeling totally better my husband had issues with his shoulders and decided to try the treatments. Now we both continue to go on a regular basis for maintenance. Fantastic experience: The best clinic I found so far. I always had trouble with my right leg as it is shorter than my left one. Every single day I suffered from headache, neck pain, back pain, leg pain that I cant seem to understand. There are also nights that I can't sleep due to the numbness and pain of my back and thighs. I found this clinic through facebook ad and I tried to book an appointment and it was a heaven sent. I finished my 12 sessions last May 2024 and until now the pains & numbness that I was suffering are gone. Even my headache is now minimal just with work. Fantastic experience: I have suffered with chronic back, neck, and headaches for years . I was always not taken seriously by the many doctors i went to so i just lived with it. My mother recommended active spine and i decided to give it a try! Dr Joe listened to all my concerns and sent me for an X-ray, he then showed me my X-ray and explained what was causing my symptoms. Fantastic experience: I have dealt with neck pain for the last 6 years, and low back pain for 10 years . With this came restricted movements in my back and neck, and breathing issues that nobody could really figure out. Since going to Dr.Colin, my neck is starting to feel better and I don’t suffer from headaches everyday, I can take a deep breath, and my back is getting more mobile. Fantastic experience: I went to active spine for my back and legs I could barely even walk, after my 3 treatment it took my leg pain away. In 2016 I hemorrhaged my 5th and 6th disk in my back and have been through acupuncture, message, chiropractor and nothing worked. Since I started with active spine I am finally able to regain better mobility again. The staff are great to work with. I am always able to get in for an appointment on short notice. Fantastic experience: I started my treatment last December because im experiencing too much back and neck pain, assess me and took the xray, after getting the results, i had to visit the clinic three times a week, those visits started slowly to excellent feeling and remove my back and neck pain before christmas, I followed what Dr.Colin told me after the session to put ice on the affected areas every after visit and due to this I have nothing to worry during the holidays and I have a great vacation with family. Until now, i'd still see and Dr.Colin advise just once a week completely monitor the progress and re-assess and re-do xray so we can surely make sure that everything was alright. Fantastic experience: Fantastic and friendly staff and great care no matter how big or small your problem is. I had gotten into a car crash in 2017 and had gotten minor whiplash. As time went on without it being treated, I started developing headaches, even migraines, along with neck and back pain. As I was very hesitant to go to a traditional chriropractor, due to horror stories I’ve heard from friends and family, I started looking into other types of treatment. After searching to no avail, I had given up and just lived with the pain on a day to day basis. However, one day, an ad for Active Spine came across my Facebook, so I decided to look into it. After my initial consultation, a treatment plan was started. It wasn’t necessarily easy, but over time, I have little to no headaches, more neck mobility and no more constant back and neck pain.

Fantastic experience: I went to Active Spine with chronic lower back pain from work. Dr Collin did a thorough assessment and was able to demonstrate to my employer what needed to be done. After about 6-9 months of treatment my pain was gone and my back felt great again. Dr Collin uses the pro adjuster rather then doing manual manipulations. I find you get better results from this. Highly recommend. We moved out of province, the only reason I stopped going for my maintenance adjustments.

Fantastic experience: After having a C5-C6 disc replacement surgery. I had continued pain, pinched nerve pain. Tingling in hands, leg, arm pain &Trouble sleeping, always feeling pain and discomfort. Fantastic experience: So not too long ago I used to have this insane headache … I was not able to do my regular activities such as go to work , work out , play with the kids and be active in general .. then a co worker recommended going to active spine so I decided to give it a shot .. Ever since I’ve seen an immense improvement in my over all Health ! Headaches are now fully gone, I feel more at peace and I can be as active as I want ! Fantastic experience: This place is very friendly and welcoming, as soon as you walk in you are welcomed by name! Dr.Collins himself is also very friendly and eager to help. I went from being in so much pain all over my back and neck, barely being able to do daily activities, to being able to go back to my usual workout routines within the month. I have been going to so many doctors and no one would help, or give me some sorta of explanation. But right away he was able to look at my X-rays, tell me what’s wrong, and give me a treatment plan. Fantastic experience: I have experienced leg and hip pain for about two years now. I have tried physiotherapy, massage therapy, acupuncture, and traditional chiropractic treatments. Nothing has worked. I recently learned of Dr. Crawford at spine active in Stonebridge and started seeing him about a month ago. Progress is slow but positive and on the bright side there’s a Pilate position that I haven’t been able to do for two years now that I was able to this past weekend. That for me is a huge success.

Negative experience: The reception staff and doctors are all very friendly and you get a welcoming feeling when you enter this establishment. The business model is successful in that it is polished and provides some surface validity upon entering. It makes me feel like a richer version of myself walking in. My first visit involved watching a DVD, seeing a chiropractor who performed a brief initial assessment, and ended with a requisition to get neck and spine x-rays. Excluding the DVD, it was all under 10 minutes. I was also told that it would take X amount of treatments, was given a total price, and asked when I would like to start these treatments. I felt a bit confused and pressured by the package I was offered since... this is not what I would consider a standard practice. There was no touching, no effort to truly test my range of motion. It felt like no matter what I had walked in with, I would have been offered X times/week at X price. My second and third sessions were around 5 minutes each. To be honest, I did not feel anything during the treatments as there was no actual treatment other than a small vibrating machine placed briefly on parts of my neck and spine where the x-ray revealed I had some minor issues. The doctor gushed about the machine, how much they love spines, and what the machine was doing. It was a bit awkward and I felt like this was more about the machine than it was providing an individualized and effective treatment. There was absolutely no touching (only the prongs of the machine, very gently), no adjustment, no lying on a table... no cracking... Very different indeed. Since the last session, I have sought out a chiropractor who has said that establishments who send patients for x-rays without real reasons (like an accident or some kind of trauma) are part of an impending loss of such rights (in some provinces, these requisitions need to go through your family doctor, which can take much longer). They also said in their medical training, these machines were only ever spoken of briefly and that they were not allowed in the medical arts building due to it being a sort of banned, pseudo-science. I write this not in an attempt to discredit science that is beyond my comprehension, but more of a warning to those who seek out chiropractic assistance in hopes of relief. There are many places and doctors who offer services. Make sure that if you are seeking out a specific type of treatment to ask lots of questions and keep an open mind yet critical eye out for what is being offered. Personally, based on my age, physical condition, and tolerance, I prefer a much more hands-on approach that may take 20-30 mins at a time, incorporates adjustments (yes, loud cracks and pops), provides some Q&A time about my specific needs, and offers quantitative comparisons of my baseline and progress each time I go.

I've tried other chiropractors before but none of them except the team at Active Spine have greeted me by name and showed genuine concern for me everytime I come. Fantastic experience: From the minute you walk in you feel welcomed and safe, to when you’re getting your adjustments done. Dr Colin is knowledgeable and able to explain things in a way that makes sense. Though you don’t get the immediate satisfaction of cracking I have found long term my body already feels way better and I have the least amount of body pain than what I’ve had in years!
