Fantastic experience: Dr Rogini has such a positive energy around her! I feel better and more relaxed after every treatment with her.

Negative experience: June 30, 2026 update below. I contacted Shakti Chiro in the latter part of March to request access to my personal health information, and their handling of that request introduced unnecessary friction and barriers and has been significantly distressing. Almost two weeks passed with no written response to the email that was sent, which prompted me to call recently to find out the status of the request, only to be told that an attempt was made to contact me by phone. At no point during this time was any proactive step taken to acknowledge or update this request in writing. I later learnt that multiple attempts had been made to contact me by phone, and at no point after failing to receive any response did they think to respond to the email and provide an update on the request. It has been several years since I attended the clinic, and their reliance on outdated contact information instead of responding to the email that was sent, despite the multiple failed call attempts, further illustrates the lack of a coherent and responsive process. The email request that was sent was specific and included identifying information, yet the response I later received introduced the reason that emails from unrecognized addresses are not responded to in the interest of record safety, despite the identifying information already provided. This was sufficient to initiate a response outlining next steps. When I spoke to them recently on the phone, I explicitly clarified that the phone number on file was no longer valid and that the information being provided verbally over the phone to access my personal health information should be provided by email, which they confirmed would be provided. That commitment to provide the information by email was not fulfilled. No email update was provided, which prompted me to send a follow-up email outlining what had transpired and requesting the information discussed during the call. I then received my first written response, which indicated that a subsequent attempt had been made to contact me by phone to verify information. I had already verified my information during the call, and no additional verification was raised before they confirmed the requested information would be provided by email. Despite being clearly advised that email was the appropriate communication channel and that the phone number on file was no longer valid, the subsequent attempt was still made to contact me by phone instead of responding to the verified email address, which they had advised would be updated in my patient file. So, in both instances, had I not taken action without knowledge of these prior attempts, I would still be waiting and wondering why no written response had been provided to my initial request. The reasons they provided for their action and inaction do not justify the absence of a written response for almost two weeks, nor the subsequent attempt to contact me by phone despite clear clarification that the number on file was no longer valid. This has been significantly distressing, as I have a neurological injury that is impacted by this type of dysfunctional experience and process. The friction and barriers introduced in what should be a straightforward and routine statutory process, requesting access to personal health information from a health information custodian, have had a direct impact. The handling of this request by Shakti Chiro reflects inconsistency, rigidity, and a breakdown in process that calls into question the competence and fitness expected of individuals in this position. Fantastic experience: Dr. Rogini is an incredible human and practitioner. She simple has fabulous energy and a way of seeing the world and our bodies that is refreshing. I have been seeing her for a few years now and she has supported me through transitions in my life and my body. Perimenopause hormonal changes and suspecting endometriosis and the pain that can come along with that has been greatly relieved by regular chiropractic adjustments. Keeping my spine supple and healthy as I age is very important to me and I am grateful for Dr. Rogini’s expertise. My only wish is that I had started coming to her sooner!

Fantastic experience: I have had symptoms for more than 5 years that included dizziness, headaches, tightness in neck, and shoulders affecting balance and light sensitivity. Dr. Rogini has been able to almost eliminate the TMJ all together in a very short period of time. Fantastic experience: Started coming for brain fog, general ache and pain in the upper back & occasional chest pains. Some weeks into treatment with Dr. Shakti and so far no aches or stabbing pains. Brain fog has cleared quite a bit. Office is clean, atmosphere is really relaxing, and staff are very welcoming.
