Negative experience: Extremely disappointing experience. I tried to book an appointment online and discovered that I was unable to do so. After contacting the clinic, the receptionist called me back and informed me that the clinic no longer wanted me as a patient because I had missed my last appointment and had not returned for approximately seven months. I fully understand that missing an appointment is inconvenient, and I would have had absolutely no issue paying a missed-appointment fee or following any reasonable clinic policy. What I did not expect was to be told that they simply did not want my business anymore. People have personal circumstances, travel, work commitments, and many other reasons why they may be unable to return for several months. I found the way this was communicated to me dismissive, unnecessary, and lacking in basic customer service. After being a patient and simply trying to return for treatment, I expected to be treated with more professionalism and respect. Needless to say, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience at Hunter Chiropractic in Orléans. The office had such a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and the chiropractor was so kind, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. He understood my issue right away, and I felt real relief after just one visit. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I visited Dr. Hunter after injuring my back during exercise, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. He is amazing! Very straightforward with his approach and pricing—no surprises! Dr. Hunter did an excellent job assessing my issue, taking x-rays, and reviewing the results with me. He didn’t waste time over-explaining since I’m familiar with what to look for in x-rays. He immediately started the adjustment process and clearly explained how I would feel over the next few days. He was incredibly helpful in providing extra exercises and stretches to do at home between visits and encouraged me to keep moving, which has been so beneficial. Fantastic experience: I've only had a few visits at Dr Mark Hunter's office after having experienced some back pain, but I can honestly say that I've never felt better! Dr Hunter is very kind, professional and efficient in his work! It is always a pleasure going in for an adjustment ! He really takes pride in his work and has a genuine care for his patients. I am learning a lot from my visits with him in regards to my spinal care and health. I am also always pleased to be greeted by Esther, the receptionist, who is so sweet, warm and welcoming. Negative experience: Extremely nice guy and staff. I found the set up of the office being impersonal because it was 2 tables with a divider wall between. You can see everyone around you, this set up makes it tough to speak up about some of your issues. Theres a lot of great reviews and I got referred here by someone who loves this place, however, to me I believe this place only really helps you maintain and prevent. If you have serious issues I don't feel like their treatment plan will help at all. I had 3 sessions and felt worse after every time.

Fantastic experience: I came to Hunter Chiro with severe l5 s1 disc herniation and hip issues that prevented me from barely walking at all. 2 months later, after the expert care and attention from Dr Mark, I am standing up straight, with no bend or pop in my step. Fantastic experience: I started going last year during my third trimester of pregnancy because I was having intense hip and pubic bone pain where it felt like my hips and pubic bone were dislocating every time I walked. I was desperate for relief. I'm so glad I went. Mark is friendly, professional and caring. Within 2 visits the pain was gone. It honestly felt like magic. He also did some adjustments on my neck that reduced the amount of headaches I was getting. He is wonderful and his receptionist is extremely helpful. I highly recommend hunter chiropractic.

Being a professional athlete my body goes through a lot of stress and is usually beat up. I always feel 100% times better after seeing him. I first visited Dr. Mark Hunter's clinic a few months after injuring my back during a sporting event. I thought I could take care of it myself by being more cautious and by making modifications to my training but things slowly got worse. Dr. Hunter took me in and was confident his adjustments would help me get better. He was honest and told me that my back would take time to heal. He recommended certain stretches and certain changes that I could make to my lifestyle that would help me progress. After visiting his clinic for about two to three months, I was fully healed and could start training consistently again. I will keep visiting Hunter Chiropractic Welness Centre because I truly believe his services will keep me healthy in the upcoming years.

Fantastic experience: I first went to Dr. Hunter with sports related injuries as well as pain and lack of mobility because of the type of work I do. Since becoming a patient of his, Dr. Hunter has eliminated my pain and continues to improve my mobility providing me with the energy I need that allows me to continue to be an athlete along with my day-to-day routine. Dr. Hunter is very thorough when addressing any concerns and clearly communicates the progression made and how to achieve further success. Dr. Hunter has gone above and beyond to improve my overall health as he has always taken the time to explain exercises/stretches and has also helped with proper nutrition for optimal recovery. Being someone who practices the lifestyle himself, Dr. Hunter has proved himself trustworthy. Dr. Hunter and Esther provide a very welcoming and comfortable environment for my family and I. Negative experience: My experience with Hunter Chiropractic was less than desirable. First of all, the office is simply two adjusting tables with a dividing board between the two. There are no rooms. You can hear each patient talk to the Dr and they can hear you. I find this a very impersonal set up. With this setup, it seems as though the office tries to pump as many people through as possible, without actually taking the time to address individual needs. Dr Mark simply jumps from side-to-side, adjusting patients. As one is done, another comes along to fill his or her spot on the table. One gets the feeling that the goal is the adjust as many people as quickly as possible. Other than the original assessment, there is very little follow up and when you do explain that there are still problems, he looks interested, but then simply continues the on the same course. I spent over 3 months, going twice a week, then once a week, with little results. Often times, Dr Mark would 'adjust' me without actually adjusting me. He would pretend he adjusted me and nothing would move. He would say 'great' and then move onto the next adjustment. It was always the same routine. I would feel weird to 'call him' on it, as there are other people waiting on the table right beside me. Often times, I would try to talk, but Dr Marc always seemed rushed due to the set up of the office. I have since gone to a different chiro and the results have been great. I am not writing this to bash the practice nor do I have anything personally against the doctor of any of his staff. I'm simply reviewing the office as I feel it deserves. I spent over $2000 there that I will never get back. In the end, it was my own fault for not leaving sooner.

Fantastic experience: After moving to Orleans my back was in agony. All the bending up and down to pack and unpack had done something to my lower back. I've had some experience with Chiropractors before but didn't know of anyone in Orleans. The reviews I found for Hunter Chiropractic were all so positive that I called and booked. I am SO glad that I did! I've been a regular patient of a Chiropractor before, I've even worked as an admin assistant in a Chiropractic Clinic, so believe me when I say that Dr. Mark Hunter is something special! I've suffered from chronic shoulder pain for two decades, hence my first visit to a chiropractor that did not leave me with a good impression. I was so disappointed that it took me another 10 years before trying again. My next experience with a Chiropractor was very positive but I still didn't get relief in my shoulder (although my migraines improved significantly!). While working at a Chiropractic Office, I had the benefit of very regular (and free) visits which again were incredibly beneficial for my back pain and headaches/migraines but did nothing for my shoulder. I was resigned to the classic medical field's cure-all: very strong prescription drugs. So imagine my surprise (you know what's coming next), after going to see Dr. Hunter for my lower back. Having had enough experience to be confident that that was what I needed after a big move and subsequent back pain, I knew I was doing the right thing. However, after only a few weeks into my treatment plan I found that I was no longer taking my prescriptions for my shoulder! I still get sore but I am nowhere near where I used to be. I have only been seeing Dr. Hunter for three months and my whole life has turned around. Activities that I used to have to mitigate such as simply chopping vegetables are now no longer an incredibly painful experience. I can even go to yoga! I'm not at 100% yet but the change in my life has already been drastic. I'd recommend chiropractic care to anyone, I know it's beneficial, but anyone in Ottawa? Do yourself a favour, and make an appointment with the best one there is!

Fantastic experience: In short, I truly believe that Dr. Hunter has kept me healthy over the past few years. As many do, I first started going to Hunter Chiropractic Wellness Centre for acute back pain. The pain eventually cleared but rather than stop going to see him, I continued going once a week to stay tuned up. Fantastic experience: Dr. Hunter provided me with outstanding treatment in the last few weeks of my pregnancy. His calming nature and focused adjustments allowed me to feel so much more comfortable in my third trimester. Our son had also flipped into a breach position prior to my first session. After a few days of relieving some pressure and stress points (like all pregnant women feel...), we discovered at the next ultrasound that our son had actually flipped back into the delivery head down position which was such an incredible relief! Both my husband and I, along with our family doctor, believe that it may have been these calming adjustment sessions may have contributed to this great news.
