Negative experience: This feedback isn't about competence, as we didn't even get the chance to speak with anyone at the clinic. We went there with my pregnant wife while walking around to ask how it works. We entered the clinic and waited for about 15 minutes. Then the chiropractor came out, welcomed what seemed to be the next scheduled patient, and closed the door again, without even asking why we were there or what we needed. That first impression says a lot, and honestly, it’s the first time I’ve experienced something like this.

Our clinic operates by appointment only, as clearly indicated on the entrance door, at the reception desk, and on the digital display in our waiting area. Like most healthcare practices in Canada, our priority is providing uninterrupted care to patients who have booked appointments. It would be unfair to those patients to interrupt their scheduled visits to accommodate unscheduled walk-in inquiries.
Unfortunately, we were not aware you were waiting to speak with someone. Had we known, we would have been happy to direct you to contact us by phone or email so we could answer your questions without disrupting patient care. Information about our services and booking process is also available on our website.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Pierre Brunet is a suberb, yes, chiropractor. He goes over you and somehow manages to work on many places you didn’t know needed attention. He follows what strikes one as a more old-fashioned version of chiropractic, less hurried. He even demonstrates and sends exercise sheets. When I lived in Ottawa, he gave excellent care, with kindness and empathy. His clinic is a one-stop-shop for exercise, acupuncture and shockwave therapy.On a brief visit to Ottawa some years later, he somehow shifted his schedule to fit me in. Fantastic experience: Exceptional Care from Dr. Randy Busch. After a severe neck injury at the gym nearly seven months ago, I found myself trapped in a cycle of pain and frustration. I tried everything—physiotherapy, endless doses of Advil, deep tissue massages, acupuncture—yet nothing brought relief. Despite seeing multiple doctors, no one could identify the problem. I was losing hope and even started looking for doctors outside of Canada. Then, a friend recommended Dr. Randy Busch, and I decided to give it one last shot. From the moment I walked into his clinic, I could tell this experience would be different. Dr. Busch conducted a comprehensive assessment and immediately explained his unique approach: instead of the usual focus on stretching the muscles, he proposed strengthening them—a concept that no one else had considered. Fantastic experience: I came in to see Pierre a few weeks ago to address some shin splints from running. In the initial assessment, Pierre immediately identified my issues and problem areas, and gave me some exercises to do which have made a great difference. After each treatment, I found myself feeling better and better on my runs until I stopped experiencing pain in my shins altogether! Not only that, Pierre surfaced some other issues with my hips locking up which I hadn’t even realized, to which I’m more mindful of now as a result. Overall, Pierre is incredibly competent, personable and amazing at what he does. Seriously, if you’re close to rockcliffe and in need of a chriropractor, look no further. Thanks for everything!

Negative experience: I suffered a collision in late September which left me with multiple injuries. Five months on, i am still suffering chronic shoulder pain, as well as pain down my entire back due to over compensating. On top of weekly physio, i was approved for massage therapy to help in my recovery. After a month of calling more than a dozen RMTs, i finally located Rockcliffe Chiropractic in the city. The owner, Dr. Brunet replied to my message and informed me of Nicole Marie Lafrance and booked me for a first appointment. At our appointment, i fully explained my situation and informed the RMT (i.e. Nicole) about my coverage to which effect she replied it not to be an issue. After my initial appointment, i booked another 2 sessions. During this week, I received the forms and forwarded them to her and gave all the contact info. I asked her if we could switch all upcoming appointments to 60 minutes due to insurance coverage. I also told her i don't mind paying the difference between what insurance covered and her regular rates as it is all i can currently afford. She obviously did not take this well. On the morning of my second appointment, she sent me a message pretending to be sick and cancelled my appointment. On Monday, I called to confirm my supposed third appointment and asked if she received everything, had any questions and if she was able to complete the forms. She asked if i could prefill them to help her out because she didn't have an assistant. I agreed without hesitation. About an hour later, i received an email recommending me another RMT. I replied asking her true intentions behind the email. She replied by telling she believes it best to cancel because she didn't want to fill out paperwork. She obviously felt it and my health and recovery beneath her. How selfish and arrogant can a person be?! Very humiliating. I must begin the process over again because of her inexcusable behaviour and unprofesional conduct. How do you deal with such humiliating situations?

Dr. Busch is the most approachable, thorough, caring and compassionate practitioner i've ever seen. His approach to patient care is unmatched. Fantastic experience: So, I have reached the age of 61 and like many of us have sore knees, tight back and joints from sitting at our desks all these years . I mentioned this fact to a friend, that this pain is a sign of age, which I figure is what I need to accept. My friend disagreed and sent me to Dr. Brunet, for which I am forever grateful. In a few visits he has corrected my knee and hip issues as well as a few other things that I didn't think a chiropractic doctor dealt with. He has also provided some much needed stretching direction so that I do not have reoccurring issues. I have now included regular visits to Dr. Brunet into my "well health retirement plan". My motto is that Retirement should be pain free and if pain should happen than seek out a professional.

Fantastic experience: I have tried many chiropractors in the past without any obvious success, but Pierre (possibly due to his multi-pronged approach with acupuncture, ART, and adjustments) can get my neck back into shape after 1-2 sessions when I'm not functioning because of poor ergonomics.

Fantastic experience: One of the best decisions I have made for my physical health. Due to an injury, I had been suffering with chronique back pain for the past 20 years. In August-2020 my back pain got really bad, and that’s when my neighbour recommended that I go see Dr. Brunet. I was reluctant at first because of my past negative experience with another chiropractor. On day one my experience with Dr. Brunet had exceeded all my exceptions. Not only he was able to diagnose what was causing me pain, he also took the time to explain it to me in details. He suggested an action plan, and exercices that I should do. After a few months of therapy with Dr. Brunet I am now happy to say that my back pain in practically all gone. I can live a normal life.... This is Amazing! Yes! This is one of the best decisions I have made for my physical health.

Fantastic experience: Dr Brunet instantly identified my problem and presented a plan to help me. I had been feeling pain in my feet when running. We had 4 sessions in which he made some adjustments to me lower body. He also provided some exercises to do at home to prevent any future pain.

Fantastic experience: I started getting treatment from Pierre in January 2017 for a recurring back/hip issue. His style of treatment was the first of its kind for me, as the chiropractors I had worked with before never placed as much emphasis on the health of the tissue in my back and hip complex. From that point on, I haven't used another chiropractor. Luckily for me, my staff, and our clients, Dr Brunet decided to join our studio in September of 2017... and my back has never felt better!

Fantastic experience: My first experience with a chiropractor was not the greatest. He was pushy, got me to sign up to a treatment plan that was very strict and my appointments were literally 3 minutes. 2 years later, I thought I’d give chiropractic care another chance Pierre works at a convenient location with a lot of parking around. He is genuine, funny and really good at what he does. After a few months of care, I have seen significant improvement in my alignment and health. I love the 25 minutes appointments, he uses a machine to relax my really tense muscles and having two young kids, not a lot can relax me. The adjustments feel amazing and I choose to continue treatment once a week for now. I get great relief. He is also very good at explaining things and is calm and collected, never rushes you. Fantastic experience: I have tried several services for my lower back pain in the last 3 years but none gave me the relief that I experienced after seeing Dr. Brunet. I was so impressed with the initial assessment as he really took the time to assess me from head to toe. I was then provided with information that no other specialist had found. (I went to see specialists at sports clinics, physios and other chiros). I finally saw some relief in my lower back after receiving treatment for a few months and keeping up with the recommended exercises. Fantastic experience: Dr. Brunet is extremely knowledgeable, funny accommodating and efficient. I first started seeing Dr. Brunet in the summer of 2018 following a bad fall that left me with two sprained ankles. I had seen various professionals prior to Dr. Brunet, but nothing seemed to help. Dr. Brunet listened to my concerns and was diligent in his treatment plan. He informed me that electroacupuncture would be a great treatment option for me as it reduces swelling and promotes blood flow to the injured tissues. After many rounds of electroacupuncture and adjustments, the swelling in my ankles significantly decreased and my mobility improved. In addition to my ankles, I was having severe and consistent calf and lower back pain. These issues had been troubling me for years. After assessing me, Dr. Brunet informed me that it was due to sciatica. I was amazed. I had been seeking various treatment options for my calf issues for years and Dr. Brunet was the first professional to make the link between my lower back and my calf pain. Dr. Brunet did adjustments and electroacupuncture (to stimulate the sciatic nerve) on my lower back. After a few weeks I felt a significant improvement and the pain slowly dissipated from my calf. In October 2018, I was in a car accident (rear-ended) and suffered from whiplash and possibly a minor concussion. Dr. Brunet treated me with electroacupuncture to increase blood flow to the injured tissues. Since I am weary of neck adjustments, Dr. Brunet kindly used an adjustment tool, called an activator, to restore motion to the vertebra in my neck. He also performed manual therapy to help stretch my seized muscles. All three injuries improved drastically. Dr. Brunet gave me a daily stretching regimen for each of my injuries and encouraged me to do them in order to expedite the healing process. Overall I’m very happy with the results and would highly recommend Dr. Brunet.
Fantastic experience: I have never been to a chiropractor before, usually when my muscles are being difficult, I pop a few Advil, possibly (aka: never) book a deep tissue massage and call it a day (aka: ignore the problem until it goes away). A friend of mine, after finally having enough of hearing my complaining about my various maladies, recommended seeing a chiropractor for an adjustment and some A.R.T. Lucky me, I just happened to work very close to a chiropractor :D Needless to say, I am very happy that my first chiropractic treatment was with Dr. Brunet. He is very knowledgeable! What made me the most comfortable was the movement assessment I was brought through before determining my treatment plan, and rehab exercises. Now... I know comfort levels and experiences vary from person to person, so I'll leave you with this: If someone I cared for (ie: family, close friends) desperately needed a fantastic chiropractor to cure their ills, I would immediately recommend Dr. Brunet.
Fantastic experience: I was referred to Dr. Brunet for my chronic shoulder pain. He examined me at the first session, explained the problem specifically in simple words due to which muscles and proposed a plan of treatment as a combination of acupuncture and adjustments along with daily exercises. The variety of treatments such as dry needling and electrical stimulation helped significantly to relieve the pain. His accurate diagnosis was the key point. He takes enough time to diagnose the problem, he is very committed, an excellent observer and he is right to the point in treatment. Before approaching him, I saw 3 sport Meds, received two cortisone shots, tendon calcification removal, did laser treatment and went for physio and neither could help. I had a posture problem because of sitting too long in front of computer and also overused my shoulder by playing lots of volleyball which caused me significant pain for two years. In case you are in the same situation I strongly recommend to go and see Dr. Brunet. After two years, I am playing real volleyball without any pain!

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Dr. Brunet. He is always respectful and professional. I was referred to Dr. Brunet when I injured my back and he was able to see me right away. From that first meeting, Dr. Brunet was very thorough in assessing my injury and explaining what treatment needed to be done. He also sent me home with exercises to assist with my recovery. I continue to see Dr. Brunet on a regular basis in order to make any corrections. Since visiting Dr. Brunet on a regular basis, I have had little to no issues with my back and able to sleep and work without discomfort. Recently, when I mentioned my migraines to Dr. Brunet, he explained how he might be able to assist and he is also working on my neck in order reduce those symptoms.
Fantastic experience: Dr Brunet was recommended to me by my massage therapist, who had also experienced carpal tunnel symptoms. I was unable to work prior to meeting him, due to my hands going numb and my arms and hands being in constant pain. He used acupuncture, active release therapy and Graston and about 6 weeks later, I was as good as new. He has a great bedside manner and I would recommend him to anyone who is in pain.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to Dr. Brunet by a coworker. The previous chiro’s that I’ve gone to in the past always seemed rushed and visits were max 2-5 minutes. I’ve never had a Chiro that takes the time with a patient like Dr. Brunet. He was able to help me with my back pain from a disc injury. I then told him about pain in my wrist and thumb and I was able to get acupuncture that cleared it up. If you have tight muscles he also does active release techniques to release the tight muscles, which was extremely helpful for me. I’m totally impressed and have referred this clinic to family and friends.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommended. Pierre was able to diagnose the issues with my back. He did a series of treatments. Over a 4 month period, he reduced what was a constant pain that kept me from sleeping and going through a regular work day; down to a much more tolerable low pain that has given me much more freedom, mobility and energy. Fantastic experience: I was referred to Dr. Brunet from another chiropractor. I was in the process of planning a move from one province to another when I awoke in excruciating pain. My originating chiropractor diagnosed me with a bulging disc in my neck. Working with my family doctor as well, I was prescribed medication to assist with pain management. It was not until I had my first appointment with Dr. Brunet did I actually think I may get better and see an end to the pain. Dr. Brunet truly listened to me and treated me accordingly. Fantastic experience: I am a nurse who has seen several different chiropractors over the years. Pierre is by far the best chiropractor I have ever seen. From the beginning, he started with a thorough assessment, addressing the actual problem, not just working on symptom alleviation. He has given short, effective exercises to do at home. He actually listens! What's more, he never urges you to see him a set amount of visits like other chiropractors sometimes try to do.
