3 months ago Fantastic experience: I see Alexe and she is fantastic. She has helped me with pain in my right knee and now I'm going through some pain in my hip on the left hand side, and she's been helping a lot. She's super knowledgeable, very caring and compassionate. Quite frankly , the whole staff there is fantastic. I'm so glad I found them. If I can give ten stars, I would.

3 months ago Fantastic experience: Alexe helped me tremendously with my sciatica and lower back pain. Her dry needling, manual therapy, and the exercises she prescribed made a huge difference. Everything worked together to reduce my pain and improve my mobility. Thanks to her treatment plan, I was able to get through a 10-hour flight I had scheduled with much less discomfort. I’m very grateful for her care and highly recommend her.
3 months ago Fantastic experience: I first met Patrick in June 2022 for my right knee. At that time, the clinic was very new. I was pleased with his service. In December 2025, I contacted Patrick again but this time to address my right shoulder. The clinic had grown and now there's a cool, friendly vibe that is present. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by Stephanie who is really friendly and calls you by your first name at your subsequent visits. Patrick is equally kind and very knowledgeable and he was able to reduce the pain in my shoulder. I live in Stonebridge so it's a bonus that I can walk to the clinic and register some steps!

7 months ago Fantastic experience: I’ve been seeing Patrick since I was in grade 7/8, and now at 21 I can honestly say he’s been one of the biggest reasons I’ve been able to stay healthy and active. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and always takes the time to explain what’s going on and how to improve it. Over the years he’s helped me recover from injuries, prevent new ones, and keep up with my training as a student-athlete. The clinic itself is also fantastic the facilities are clean, modern, and well-equipped, which makes the whole experience that much better. 7 months ago Fantastic experience: I have long experience with Ottawa Physiotherapy and Sports Clinic, who have guided my recovery from two ACL surgeries and other minor ailments and they were always great at getting me back into my regular sports routine. 11 months ago Fantastic experience: The staff was very friendly and accomadating with bookings. The fact that they are open on the weekends was very convenient and I didn't have to miss to many days off work. My physiotherapist Parth (I hope I spelled that correctly) was very helpful and even helped with other problems that I was experiencing outside of the original reason I was there for. He explained what he was doing and how it would help me get back on track. All in all, a very good experience and will continue to be a client for the foreseeable future (since I'm old and broken).

11 months ago Fantastic experience: Earlier this year, I had meniscus repair surgery and started physio a few weeks later at Ottawa Physiotherapy and Sport Clinics - Stonebridge, where I met Patrik. From the start, he was knowledgeable, professional, and supportive. I had an ambitious goal: to recover and run a full marathon in the spring, pain-free and without injury. It felt almost impossible at the time, but Patrik guided me with a clear plan and encouraged consistency with exercises. After finally deciding to seek treatment, I researched physiotherapy clinics and found Barrhaven Physiotherapy Clinic highly recommended. I began treatment with Matthew Crockford, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the experience. From my very first session, Matthew carefully reviewed my history and conducted a gentle, thorough assessment. He explained that while I was feeling pain in my lower back, the root cause was actually muscle issues in my legs. Even after the first session, I noticed a significant reduction in pain. Over the course of five weeks, I saw Matthew every Friday. He consistently demonstrated exceptional knowledge, professionalism, and genuine care for my recovery. Each visit, he clearly explained the treatment steps and tailored exercises specifically to my needs. I especially appreciated that he allowed me to video record the exercise demonstrations, highlighting key points to ensure I was doing them correctly at home. After just five treatments, my lower back pain has nearly disappeared. Matthew is now encouraging me to begin strength training to further build muscle and prevent the pain from returning. Patrick provides really clear direction about physio exercises and offers modifications where needed, which is great and helps to motivate. Really good follow up post-sessions regarding exercises to be done between visits (i.e. emails with clear explanation, video and availability to answer any questions). I always feel very comfortable and respected, and I can tell that Patrick really wants to help fix the issue, and help prevent potential related issues, but without a need or pressure of more appointments than necessary. 1 year ago Fantastic experience: I've been going weekly to OPSC-Stonebridge for about 2 months now and I am very pleased with their service. My physiotherapists, Moshu and Sophia, have adjusted my treatment and exercise routine to better address the cause of my hip and lower back pain and I'm already seeing marked improvement. The facility itself is well equipped and maintained, All staff are friendly and helpful. My one minor issue is that the parking lot for the Plaza is challenging at timee to find a spot.

1 year ago Fantastic experience: Location is good although parking can be a problem because of a small parking lot and limited on street parking close to the clinic. The clinic is clean, bright and well equipped. Staff are excellent: the front desk staff are courteous and helpful, the physiotherapists are knowledgeable and have great "bed side manner" even when calling out clients for being tardy, or showing incredible patience as clients go above and beyond when describing whatever ails them. I have been seeing Patrick based on a recommendation and I couldn't be more satisfied. Patrick's assessment was thorough, he identified factors (including many I was unaware of) that contribute to the problem and exercises that will help correct these. Patrick is also skilled "hands on" such as stretching or addressing weaknesses in muscles\muscle groups. Overall, I highly recommend the clinic and Patrick in particular. One last thing, Patrick works with you in the official language of your choice.

1 year ago Fantastic experience: I consulted this clinic after I was diagnosed with Bells Palsy in November. Even though they could not see me right away due to a full schedule, Patrick called me back and was able to give me some tips and instructions over the phone on what to do until I could see him. The person taking appointments was also efficient and went above and beyond in ensuring that someone would follow up with me the next day after I had called. My right side of my face was completely paralyzed until day 8. I saw Patrick on that day for my first session of physio and acupuncture; by the next morning I started to see signs of recovery. I saw him twice a week and continued to progress steadily. He was not only knowledgeable but also empathetic, going so far as to dim the lights when my eye was causing me discomfort from being unable to blink or close it at all in the beginning. I would not hesitate to recommend them and tell you you’re in good hands there. Thank you Patrick and your team for all that you’ve done.

1 year ago Fantastic experience: Great physiotherapy clinic in our Barrhaven neighbourhood! The place is bright, clean and spacious, so it doesn’t feel crowded even if there are several patients in at the same time. After a back injury in March, I decided to try out this clinic because it is close to home & I am very happy I did! My physiotherapist Alexe is very friendly, professional and compassionate. She listened to my initial concerns, did a full assessment and came up with a treatment plan. Every follow-up session Alexe checks to see what’s working for you and what’s not, and changes up the exercises accordingly. It is very convenient that they have morning as well as afternoon/ evening appointments & Alexe is amazing at working with your schedule. She will even open up an extra early morning or late evening appt to accommodate her patient’s needs. After almost 3 months, my back condition improved a lot , however another minor injury in August caused my back pain to flare up again. Having a physiotherapist that is caring and understands your condition really makes a huge difference & Alexe has been very helpful along this long journey towards recovery!

1 year ago Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend going to Ottawa Physiotherapy and sports Clinic-Stonebridge. After my initial assessment, Patrick began my treatments. The treatments consisted of stretching, Tens application, dry needling and exercises. This was done over multiple sessions. I was also given exercises to do at home, which I think really helped my recovery . I can honestly say that my back hasn't felt this good in a long time. Now as for Patrick he was very professional, attentive and knowledgeable. I like the fact that he explained everything he was doing. This all said I do highly recommend Ottawa Physiotherapy and Sport Clinics -Stonebridge . Thanks again Patrick, maybe I'll see you on the golf course.

1 year ago Fantastic experience: A number of years ago I was dealing with a knee issue and found Sophia at a clinic close to my work. Over a series of sessions, she was able to send me on my way pain free and with exercise instructions which I use to this day. We fast forward to earlier this year when a fall resulted in a shoulder injury needing some attention. I tracked Sophia down at the Ottawa Physiotherapy and Sports Clinic – Stonebridge location. At my first visit I noticed the following: - Very friendly staff….everybody knows my name and I am greeted along the way. - Clean environment and well maintained. - Bright but ability to dim a section for those light sensitive. - And all the equipment you will ever need such as weights, some basic sports equipment, bands, straps, etc. I drive 45 mins each way, twice per week because I like the environment, the staff and especially for Sophia. She is very caring, knowledgeable, professional and simply put, I cannot offer a higher recommendation of her services.

1 year ago Negative experience: I and my son come here as I have read all of the good reviews and also it is close to my house, so I try’d it. Unfortunately, after a few appointments, I cannot recommend them. I specifically asked for ultrasound treatment (from experience it is what would help my son’s pain) and over the phone they say they have it but when we are there in person the tech says they don’t know what it is. They also book 3 people at the same time, so our tech gave us some exercises to do for 30 min and left to go deal with others, not even any supervision to make sure we get the positions right. They do have TENS but because they left to talk to others our appointment was longer and almost made me late getting back to work. It was all a waste of my time and not worth the money (100$/ person/ per appointment) . They also did not submit directly to my insurance, which gives me more paperwork to do. Very inconvenient. Do not recommend.

1 year ago Fantastic experience: I have been to many different physio places before and I must say this is by far the best experience I have gotten. Michelle makes you feel welcomed and is very good at what she does! As well as the receptionist Stephanie, she is always on top of everything. I would highly recomend this place to anyone who needs physiotherapy!

Really work the root cause of the problem to ensure you are not only healing but preventative maintenance for future issues. will definitely return (if needed) have been for a few issues. 1 year ago Fantastic experience: A great new clinic close by! The staff are amazing. Patrick was an amazing physiotherapist to work with, he really cares about his clients and is always researching new techniques to improve client's mobility. My knee pain is almost gone because of his great care and service! He has also treated my daughter for several sports-related injuries, he takes the time to assess the injury and then explain what is happenig in the body, practice exercies and then send homework. We are so grateful to have Pat as our physiotherapist and highly recommend him!!!

1 year ago Fantastic experience: I Would highly recommend seeing Laura for massage therapy. I have been seeing her for years and she is so exceptional at making me feel comfortable and helping me feel my best. Cannot recommend her enough!

1 year ago Fantastic experience: Alexe has such a powerful and amazing energy, because when i first heard that i would be having to start physio because of my injury, I was bummed. That’s until i met alexe! she gave me clear explanations of everything when i asked and took her time to explain in terms that i would understand. Not only is she amazing at what she does but she is genuinely so fun to be around! i look forward to physio every week because of her!

1 year ago Fantastic experience: I found the staff at OPTSC Stonebridge extremely friendly and accommodating. My initial assessment with Sophie, for my shoulder injury, was very informative. She recommended a set of treatments and exercises which quickly resulted in reduced pain and significant improvements in my arm motions. My goal then became to be able to golf once the season started. Sophie and I collaborated with her colleague Patrick who suggested an additional set of exercises to achieve my goal. With their help and a cautious approach I am now virtually pain free and able to perform most things as before. I highly recommend their services.

1 year ago Fantastic experience: Alexe has treated my painful shoulder for a few weeks. With massage, TENS & dry needling therapies, plus daily exercises, it is much better. She is very knowledgeable & I'm very pleased with the results so far. In addition, all staff are very friendly & welcoming.

1 year ago Positive experience: From Patrick to the office admin they are a kind, knowledgeable and hard working staff. The only downside is that they are a bit more expensive in my opinion than other pt places, however, if your looking for results I don't mind paying a bit more

1 year ago Fantastic experience: I came to the clinic with the diagnosis of frozen shoulder and my physio Michelle helped me immensely with rehabilitation. She is very patient and hard working and explained the process well. She would email the exercises so that I had reference for home. It was a pleasure working with her and I would definitely go back to her in future. The lady at front desk was also very efficient. Overall I’m very satisfied!

1 year ago Fantastic experience: I have found all the staff from reception to therapists to be courteous, caring, professional and excellent at what they do. I had a total knee replacement and my therapist, Sofia, has been very good working with me and have no doubts that she will have my knee feeling normal again. I would definitely recommend this branch for anyone requiring physio for whatever reason. Well done to you all for the great service you provide.

1 year ago Fantastic experience: Two weeks ago I could barely walk for 5 minutes before I started feeling pain in my right ankle (had an ankle sprain 1 month before I started physiotherapy). Thanks to Alexe I’m now able to do most things again and the pain is GONE . I’m so happy and grateful for the support I’ve received here and will definitely recommend it to friends and family. If I ever have another injury (hopefully not but you never know) I’ll absolutely come back here.
