Fantastic experience: Dr. Payne Helped Me Stay Pain-Free and Active for Years I received weekly treatments from Dr. Payne at Avant Chiropractic for several years, and he consistently helped me manage my long-term lower back pain. I’ve had back issues for over 20 years, and I always felt noticeably better after each session. Before my treatments, my body often felt out of balance, but after an adjustment with Dr. Payne, I’d feel realigned, more flexible, and pain-free. If I missed a week or two, the discomfort and stiffness would usually return — a sure sign of how effective his treatments were. Throughout the years, I’ve referred friends to Dr. Payne and will continue to recommend him without hesitation. Since moving out of the country, one of my biggest concerns has been finding another chiropractor who can provide the same level of care and results. Fantastic experience: I was referred to Dr. Payne after seven months of relentless neck and shoulder pain caused by an injury. I knew I had scoliosis, already had an amazing healthcare team and each practitioner was doing their best to help me feel more comfortable, but nothing made the pain go away, and I no longer felt like myself. I had tried pretty much everything and was just exhausted by the time I went for my first appointment with Dr. Payne, that I expected this to be another thing that wouldn’t really work. But even before starting any traction, I felt so much better after hearing what and how he thought about my case. I was immediately put at ease by his experience, expertise, attention to detail and care. Three months later, I barely notice any real pain anywhere in my body, and there are (occasional) days where I feel like I could climb a mountain! Still a work in progress, but I couldn’t have gotten here without Dr. Payne and his incredible team.

Fantastic experience: I came to AVANT Chiropractic to improve my forward neck posture and forward upper torso. As an older runner, I knew a better posture would lead to a more efficient running stride. After treatment, my posture feels so much better, my spine is definitely more flexible and I've gained half an inch in height! In addition, my running has been progressing nicely. Fantastic experience: I’ve been seeing Dr. Greg Payne for some time now, and I can confidently say that he has completely changed my perception of chiropractic care. From my very first visit, I was impressed by his positive attitude and the welcoming atmosphere of the office. Before meeting Dr. Payne, I had visited four different chiropractors and struggled with pain for eight years. But once I was referred to Dr. Payne, everything changed. Fantastic experience: I saw the sign and knew it was time. I am so glad I went in. Dr. Payne and his team are professional in every way and the treatment received so far has been very thorough. Before treatment I had migraines 3 or 4 times a month, each one lasting 2-3 days. I hesitate to say that I am cured, but I cannot remember the last time I had a migraine and the ever-present tension in my shoulders and upper back is now a distant memory. As well as corrections, I received traction in office and exercises for home that have allowed me to become more aware of my posture and self-correct when needed. I am so glad I walked in the door and wish I had done so sooner. This is an investment in my health that I will continue to make without reservation.

Fantastic experience: I came in with the simple hope of experiencing any improvement to my lower back and neck which were in constant pain. Within just a few visits with dr. Payne, my neck pain diminished substantially. My lower back improved soon after and I was able to walk and sleep better. My constant pain turned into more of a dull discomfort and is still improving with every ajustement and traction session. I couldn't recommend this place any more - I've seldom met a doctor who seems so genuinely invested in his client's quality of life. The entire staff is knowledgeable, courteous and pleasant. I hope dr.Payne never retires because he set the bar so high that I may just show up at his house for my adjustments instead of trusting anyone else.

Fantastic experience: I’m a hairstylist and a barber, meaning I have a lot of pain in my neck, head, shoulders and back, due to years of standing for most part of the day, with my arms straight in front of me and my eyes looking down, and I’m often also hunched over at the shampoo bowl. I’ve tried a couple different chiropractors in the past, but no one has helped me short term and most importantly LONG term as much as Doctor Payne and his staff. Not only are they super friendly and flexible with my abnormal schedule, they also make sure to analyse my individual needs, and use the necessary techniques and tools to help me as much as possible. I think it’s very important to also mention that Heike and Sierra (I hope I spelled that right) are just as friendly, efficient and helpful as Doctor Payne. They are all around an amazing team! I don’t feel like just a number when I go there. It’s not just like: « ok next! Crack crack… ok next person now! » . You know what I mean? Haha Doctor Payne took the time to sit down with me and explain everything going on with my spine, took X-rays, showed me the photos, came up with a plan that worked for me according to my budget and my work schedule, gave me exercises to do at home, uses not only a « cracking » technique, but also a traction technique, … I strongly recommend this clinic to anyone who wants not only short term relief, but also long term help with discomfort and pain that they just can’t seem to shake off on their own. Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Dr. Greg for years and can’t recommend him enough! He does a thorough intake including X-rays and clear treatment plan. Throughout care he does check-in exams and updates X-rays at regular intervals to check progress. Positive experience: Evolation CHIRO charges $19 for the same thing plus an adjustment. Doctor Penny was a professional and he explained my complicated spine quite thoroughly. He spent over one hour with me which was supposed to be only 15 minutes.

Fantastic experience: I first went to Dr. Payne due to chronic pain in my neck and back. I had headaches, trouble sleeping, and performing daily tasks. After the first week of treatment I noticed a huge difference in my neck and back. Less muscle stiffness, less tingling, more flexibility, and better sleep. Over the past few months I have noticed I have more energy and I am focusing a lot more on my posture. Due to all the positive health benefits I am feeling I decided to send my 12 year old daughter to Dr. Payne. She was complaining daily about muscle cramps, poor flexibility, and back pain. I noticed that she walked very stiffly. Just after a few treatments we started to notice a improvement in her flexibility and gait. She no longer complains of back pain or muscle cramps. Last week she had her first school basketball game and scored a three pointer. My daughter said it was because Dr. Payne made her taller. Thank you Dr. Payne P.S. I was a little scared that a downtown office would be difficult due to parking but I have always been able to find a spot quickly and very close. Fantastic experience: As someone with rheumatoid arthritis, joint and muscle pain have always been supplemented with medication to ease discomfort. After going to Avant chiropractic for the past six months I have noticed a significant decrease in my aches and pains as well as the amount/ frequency of medication usage. The winter months especially are very hard on me (and for anyone else experiencing arthritis pain in the winter), but this year I was able to go about my daily life and sometimes even leave the pain medications at home without the constant anxiety/ worry if I will need them. Dr. Payne not only helped to make my pains and aches disappear dramatically, he also took away my anxiety and gave me the freedom of leaving the house and being able to partake in regular activities. Dr. Payne is very patient, knowledgeable and transparent with my care and always took the time to explain certain procedures. Fantastic experience: For many years I suffered a tremendous amount of pain after countless undiagnosed injuries. In my early 20's I never thought it would be me having that "bad back". Fantastic experience: Desperate from over a month of sciatica, I approached Dr. Greg Payne, who took me under his chiropractic wing after an exhaustive assessment of my condition. A combination of traction and other treatments saw my pain dramatically diminish. Dr. Payne promised no miracles but felt confident he could restore me, an 81 year old, to the level of mobility I had enjoyed prior to the sciatica. His candour and positive attitude throughout was in stark contrast to the unhelpful and prescription approach of conventional medical clinics. Handing one’s body, and especially one’s inner structure, over to another requires a great deal of confidence and, at all times, I felt I was in excellent and most professional hands. Fantastic experience: I started seeing Dr. Payne in 2012 to combat chronic neck and back pain after medicine and physiotherapy did not help. I was skeptical of chiropractic care but desperate. After my first adjustment, I was convinced this needed to be part of my regular wellness routine. Dr. Payne addressed the root causes of my pain so I only receive treatment every two weeks now for maintenance. I can truly say that Dr. Payne and the treatment he's provided were an answer to prayer. I hope others will benefit from his passion to help people as well.

Fantastic experience: Friendly place to go get an adjustment. It is quick so you can move on with your day (I have never waited more than 15 minutes, and typical wait time is 5 minutes). Dr. Payne does excellent work, and I've seen a lot of improvement over the past 1.5 years. I even took my 3 month old for an adjustment because her head was leaning to the right quite a bit when sitting .. solved within a few adjustments (very very minor .. not the same as doing one on an adult). His team is also spot on. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: My experience with back pain started in my early thirties with a sports injury. At the time I thought it was resolved with physiotherapy, but over the years it only became worse. In my late forties over a long weekend, my back finally went out and I was unable to function. My wife suggested trying a Chiropractor as I was taking over the counter medication to just get through the day and we both agreed that wasn’t a good short or long term solution. I knew of Dr. Payne through friends and made the appointment. The whole assessment process including x-rays made logical sense and even I could see structurally why I was in so much pain. A treatment plan was developed and after a few sessions, I already had function back. Fantastic experience: I've had the privilege of knowing Dr. Greg Payne for the past 16 years and he is an amazing chiropractor. He made sure my nervous system was in tip top shape through both my pregnancies and adjusted both my kids after they were born. Fantastic experience: When I first saw Dr. Payne, I couldn't touch the top four vertebrae of my neck, a nerve running down my back felt pinched every time I'd bend any which-way and my wrists were always sore. A yoga class was daunting, and I would get extremely dizzy. Actually, any activity that called for raising my hands overhead felt impossible (even washing my hair). Advance eight months and I played 12 volleyball games in a tournament this weekend! I am now drug-free (where I used to take a lot of Aleve, and get headaches all the time). I've truly gotten my life and body back, thanks to his spinal correction methods. There's a rhyme to the reason, you just have to trust the process is what I've learned. It's also great to work collaboratively with multiple checkpoints; this alone alleviates a ton of stress knowing that I'm well taken care of!

Fantastic experience: Dr.Haughton is amazing! A year and a bit ago I saw him for lower back pain and headaches. The pain is virtually gone now! For those of you who think that chiropractic care is a quick fix, you are sorely mistaken! It takes a while for your body to fix itself. Dr.Haughton and Dr.Payne teach you all about this. I highly recommend them to anybody!

Negative experience: A money grab. Sessions last 1 minute and Dr. Payne didn't try to much treatment modification when I said - after 2 months - that my pain was worsening. Shop around for a chiro who will spend more time.
