Fantastic experience: Antoine is a miracle worker in my books. Over the past 7 years I've had multiple issues (shoulder, foot, hip, and traumatic injury) that I was thinking would become chronic that he has helped me to heal with his incredibly gentle but effective treatments. And usually in a relatively short amount of time too! Maybe 2 or 3 sessions over a month or two. (I appreciate that his treatment/business model does not involve getting me to come back for months or years.) Truly remarkable. He's amazing in matching his knowledge of the body with my description of my pain and/or experience, and then discerning what needs some attention, and exactly what kind of adjustment or release to apply. And he talks me through it all so that I understand what he's doing and why. My whole family (my husband, my adult daughters, my 92 year old father, and many of my friends) have also experienced his healing touch and compassionate care. We are all so thankful that he chose Calgary to practice his osteopathy, and continues to be available for us when we need him. I am so deeply grateful. Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend Antoine highly enough. After a work-related injury that resulted in two spinal surgeries, I’ve spent years seeing different osteopaths and other healthcare practitioners trying to manage chronic pain. I know how difficult it can be to find someone who is both knowledgeable and genuinely invested in helping their patients. Antoine is exactly that. We were actually first referred to him by two completely different people. One, a close family friend and second Dr. Hartman, my lactation consultant at Westglen Medical Centre when our newborn was having feeding difficulties that were suspected to be related to a musculoskeletal issue. Watching Antoine work with our baby was amazing. He was incredibly gentle, calm, and patient, and after just a couple of treatments we noticed a huge improvement in our baby’s feeding. As exhausted new parents, that was such a relief. He has continued to treat her as she’s grown, and we’ve seen firsthand how wonderful he is with children. After seeing what he did for our little one, I booked an appointment for myself. Since starting treatment with Antoine, I’ve noticed a significant improvement in my pain and mobility. He has an incredible understanding of how the body works, and every treatment is thoughtful and tailored to what’s actually going on rather than being a “one size fits all” approach. As any parent knows, life doesn’t always go according to plan. I’ve had to bring my baby, now 20 months old to a couple of my appointments, and instead of making me feel stressed or rushed, Antoine took it all in stride. He somehow managed to work around a clingy, squirmy toddler who absolutely refused to be put down! Even while treating me, he made her feel comfortable and included. She also still sees Antoine as a patient, and she absolutely adores him. She’s very clearly a member of Antoine’s fan club. Antoine is kind, compassionate, and takes the time to explain everything. You can tell he genuinely cares about helping people feel their best. He trained and practised as an osteopathic physician in France, and his depth of knowledge really shows. He also speaks French, English, and Spanish fluently which is a win if English is your second langue. My father who is originally from Spain sees Antoine and is actually able to understand what is happening in the session because Antoine takes the time to explain it in Spanish. I’ve been so impressed with the care I’ve received that now the vast majority of my immediate and extended family see him as well. He will always do his best to accommodate and prioritize infants if he is booked up and the situation is urgent for your baby, just email him and he will do his absolute best to help. Finding a practitioner you trust is priceless, and our family is incredibly grateful we found Antoine. If you’re considering osteopathic treatment, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

Fantastic experience: Antoine is an expert in pediatric and children's osteopathy - I've taken all my kids to see him. He's gentle and great with babies. I appreciate that he doesn't rush the appointments. If baby is crying or fussing, he's patient and adjusts his approach until baby has settled again, which made the appointments low stress for me. He doesn't try to find problems just to get you in for more appointments. He gave an honest assessment our needs and had our best interest at heart when recommending a treatment plan.

Fantastic experience: Antoine is magic! I had been struggling with a tight lower back for probably over a year, trying the usual, chiropractic & active release massage with minimal and slow change only. At the start of the session Antoine asked what I wanted to be able to do after our 1 hour session and I said, "touch my toes without friction". 1 hour later... done. He mentioned that it would still take some time to fully correct but I was able to put off my follow up session for 3.5 months (while I played a short season of basketball) until I saw him again. I would say, upon returning, I was only experiencing 25% of the previous tightness. It's been a week since I had my follow-up session and I am down to 10% and feeling better every day! Antoine isn't addressing my symptoms, he is thoughtfully targeting my body's core ability to function in the way and at the level it should be functioning. He is great at communicating what is going on with my body throughout the session and you can tell he cares about his patients. I cannot recommend Antoine enough, stop waiting to heal and go see him!

Fantastic experience: Antoine is absolutely wonderful, I would highly recommend him. I was referred by the breastfeeding clinic for support as well as for my daughter’s torticollis. Antoine showed expertise in his field and is very knowledgeable in anatomy. Upon meeting him I felt at ease and comfortable with him working with my newborn. He showed care and passion for his work. After our session, I could see immediate difference in my daughter. She was visibly less tense, in turn I was less tense and we had immediate improvement in breastfeeding. Antoine only required one session to work his magic :)

Fantastic experience: As a long-term athlete, I had several ailments which I had seen physiotherapists and chiropractors for before. I decided to book an appointment with Dr Antoine after seeing how amazing he was with my son. Within the first session he had picked up a few things that no other Healthcare professional had before. Fantastic experience: We were referred to Dr Antoine for a curved back and a stiff neck of our 5 week old baby. He was absolutely amazing with our boy. He had the magic touch in helping him calm down, ensured he was comfortable to continue by offering if he needed a feed (which he did) and did not rush us at all. Within the hour, our boy’s back was no longer curving, and he is already sleeping facing his non-favourite side. No hesitation AT ALL if anyone asked for a recommendation for an osteopath. Fantastic experience: We were referred to Antoine by our lactation consultant for our 3 week old with stiff neck on one side. We were nervous prior to the appointment. Antoine made us feel comfortable by explaining the reasons behind the issues and his treatment plan. A few days after the appointment, our baby started moving his neck in both directions and just like that the stiffness was no more. I highly recommend Antoine to all new parents.

Fantastic experience: Antoine was referred by my wife lactation consultant when our month old had severe left torticollis and our baby always tends to slant his head to the right. This cause stiffness to his neck and body which often made it uncomfortable to have full range of motion movement. My wife struggled breastfeeding due to tightness to his neck and jaw. We booked our appointment with Antoine and he was very knowledgeable with our baby situation. Due to severity of the torticollis we had many sessions with him to loosen the neck, back, arms and hip movement. He was great every single session and notice improvement each time we visited. Now, our baby boy can move freely without any limitation. My wife and I truly appreciate what he has done for our son. We highly recommend Antoine! He is great with babies.

Fantastic experience: Antoine is a truly gifted therapist who has expanded my understanding of health care. My 6 week old was referred to Antoine for limited range of motion which inhibited successful nursing. Additionally she was developing mild plagiocephaly and I was hoping to avoid a trip to helmet land. Within the first few hours of her appointment she stopped crying in the car seat and fussed much less during witching hour. Within the next 24 hours she could turn to both sides and fully open her jaw and nurse which was not previously possible. Over the next week the cranial flat spot moved from one side to center and then completely resolved. Before and after photos show a dramatic improvement that I am confident did not spontaneously resolve. I am so grateful that the actual root cause was explained and addressed in such a short time and with zero tears during the session. If you are hesitant due to osteopathy’s poor reputation as a pseudoscience in North America, know that there is a small but robust body of evidence supporting its benefit in resolving infant asymmetry. I am truly thrilled with the results and feel privileged to have accessed his services at such a critical time in my daughter’s development. I highly recommend any tongue tie infant see Antoine as early as possible. I only wish we had four of him across the city. Vraiment. Il est incroyable.

Fantastic experience: Antoine is knowledgeable and professional, my whole family has seen him including my infant son who made great progress with his feeding thanks to Antoine. Antoine was a great help to me as well for a longstanding hip and back problem that I have struggled with for many years. I had received chiropractic and physio treatments in the past which had helped me improve but I had plateaued in my recovery and Antoine helped me reach another stage in my recovery. He helped me return to a healthier and more active lifestyle.

Fantastic experience: We were referred to Antoine by our lactation consultant when our 3-month-old son showed signs of mild torticollis and head flattening. He seemed to have a lot of stiffness in his neck and body, and often just seemed uncomfortable. Breastfeeding had been a struggle since birth, despite releasing a posterior tongue tie a few weeks after delivery. I was initially skeptical about osteopathy, but my husband and I were immediately impressed when Antoine noticed specific issues with our son that we knew to be true. Specifically, that our son favored one leg over the other and had a more extensive range of motion on one side of the body. We had noticed these quirks but dismissed them, as we assumed it was normal to have a side preference and some asymmetry. Antoine also identified that our son couldn't open his mouth widely. I had noticed this too, as it made breastfeeding very challenging. I had previously inquired about his restricted mouth opening with our family doctor and multiple lactation consultants, but no one could provide a satisfactory explanation or solution. Antoine was professional and thorough. He explained each assessment and released our son's tightness with gentle pressure and stretches. Our son even seemed to enjoy himself too! Antoine provided us with stretches to continue at home and educated us about infant growth. We continued these stretches and other stretches diligently. In the next visit three weeks later, Antoine said that there was no need for additional follow-up. By then our son's torticollis had almost entirely resolved and he no longer appeared to be restricted when opening his mouth. We appreciated Antoine’s honesty, and that he didn’t recommend additional unnecessary follow-up, as we were so happy with the results that we would have happily booked many more unnecessary visits. Our son appeared so much more mobile and free from the tightness that was holding him back. I know the home stretches were a major part of this, but I have no doubt that the release from Antoine significantly helped our son as well. If we have another child, we plan to return for a check-up in the first few months of life. We trust Antoine completely and recommend him to anyone seeking help beyond traditional medical approaches for their loved ones.

Fantastic experience: Antoine was very helpful working with my daughter (2 months) when we were having issues with her latch/breastfeeding and some minor torticollis. He explained everything as he went and made sure I was comfortable and understood what he was doing while working with her. I felt he was genuinely interested in improving my daughters health and clearly is passionate about what he does; which is everything you want in someone caring for the well-being of your little one.

We were referred to a different osteopath by our lactation consultant, but a friend had recently seen Antoine and recommended we go see him instead. He was very knowledgeable and explained what he was doing and how it would benefit my son. My son had been struggling to breastfeed and is so much more effective now, which has in turn increased my milk supply. My son is also is able to turn his head fully in both directions, which he wasn’t able to do before seeing Antoine. We highly recommend him!

Fantastic experience: My newborn baby was suffering from reflux! I was so tired and excausted, because baby was constantly crying! Everyone was telling me to give her medicine but I was against it! My last hope was osteopath, but I wont lie, I was skeptical! BUT- Antoine did a miracle! After first visit my baby stopped arching her back, crying and she started to sleep! Fantastic experience: Antoine really helped our baby with Breastfeeding. I was referred to an osteopath by my lactation consultant and was very skeptical of how helpful it would be. Antoine was really gentle and patient with my 2 month baby and we saw results almost immediately. We are now effectively breastfeeding and its so exciting that this has helped so much with our lactation journey. It also helped our baby because he wouldn't turn his head to one side and now that isn't an issue at all. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for care for their baby. Fantastic experience: My baby was referred to Antoine by my lactation doctor to assess baby's muscles. I was having issues with breastfeeding and decided to make an appointment to see Antoine. Years ago, I had been to an osteopath for back pain and while I saw a little bit of improvement, I didn't go to enough appointments to have my issue resolved. I was initially a bit skeptical on what an osteopath could do for a tiny baby, but I decided to give it a try anyway. He is warm, professional and super knowledgeable and takes the time to explain everything. He was gentle with my baby, did a very thorough assessment and only did very gentle release on muscles with baby's own body weight. My baby was previously chomping down and causing me pain when breastfeeding. Baby had tight jaw and neck muscles, which interfered with how wide he could open his jaw - that was one of the primary concerns I brought forward to Antoine. I was happy to hear my suspicions confirmed and that Antoine was able to correct it. Once Antoine released the tight jaw and neck muscles, breastfeeding improved significantly! I could see baby's jaw open much wider, and the motion of sucking and swallowing also look different/better than before. I felt a significant reduction in pain the first feeding session after the first appointment. Baby still has some learning to do, but he's continued to improve over time. Also, my baby was super relaxed and had many peaceful naps after the appointment, a very good sign. I've since brought my baby back to Antoine for a follow up, but because the issue is resolved and there's nothing left to work on at this time, there's no need for further follow ups. I appreciate Antoine's honesty about this since some practitioners would gladly string you along and ask you to keep coming back for appointments when there's no need! I would not hesitate to make an appointment with him again though if new issues come up, or if something regresses for some reason. I highly recommend Antoine's services, whether you're dealing with pain/muscle tightness or your child is. Definitely recommend breastfeeding parents have Antoine take a look at the baby if struggling with breastfeeding pain! Just a tip on the facility - Ellipse Therapy is in the same space as Spectrum Therapy. The parking lot doesn't seem to have any reserved spaces for Ellipse or Spectrum, so you should park in one of the few "general" parking spaces on the left when you enter the lot.

Fantastic experience: I suffered with chronic headaches for 3 decades. Received numerous different treatments, tests and medications from the medical profession. Nothing ever helped. A friend told me to try osteopathy. Thankfully I found Antoine. Antoine is not some 6 month osteopath wanna be. He is the real deal. He is passionate about helping people and it shows. Fantastic experience: Antoine is simply amazing at what he does! He's incredibly professional, very knowledgable, and great at communicating and explaining the physical and manual therapies. Not only is he able to put a baby, toddler and preschooler at ease during treatments, he's succeeded in alleviating acid reflux and symptoms of recurring ear infections for our youngest, where other treatments have failed. Fantastic experience: Antoine is the most knowledgeable health professional that I have ever encountered - from a holistic perspective - which is what osteopathy is all about. My children (in their 20's) have also been treated by him. We jokingly refer to his treatments as "magic"! But there is no trickery - as he always explains the treatment in his best "Frenglish"! Over a few treatments with him (as he prides himself in that his practice is meant to treat people, not create repeat customers), he has explained to me that his training to become an Osteopath in France, takes much longer, and is much more rigorous, compared to the training required to become an Osteopath in North America - and he's explained this without even a hint of any stereotypical "French arrogance"! Fantastic experience: As someone who has dealt with chronic pain and injuries, Antoine has been a true saving grace to my quality of life. Antoine has been treating me for a long time and when we first met I was pain free for the first time in nearly 10 years. When we first met I saw him regularly as I was a problematic case. Since then, I see Antoine very rarely for an occasional "tune up". The sessions are a delight and Antoine does an exceptional job in explaining every part of the treatment so I can understand what he is doing and how it affects my body. I highly recommend making sure you are free for an hour or two after the session for a restorative nap after the treatment. It truly does wonders to help the body heal!

Fantastic experience: In the past 3 decades I've spent far too much time and money on physio and chiro. During the last 3 years, I've realized that osteopathy is greatly superior to the other therapies. Antoine is very knowledgeable, caring, and a pleasure to work with. He takes the time to explain everything he does. Unlike other therapists I have seen he treats me only when necessary, and doesn't insist on ongoing appointments. He is my "go to" person for any issues that arise. I would highly recommend Antoine and would give him more than 5 stars if I could!

Fantastic experience: Exceptional patient care! This was my first experience with osteopathy and it was more than I expected. My infant son was referred to Antoine for assistance with breastfeeding as he was struggling due to tight neck and jaw muscles. Antoine was warm and welcoming and began the session with a brief overview of his background as well as the DO profession. He made me feel comfortable and relaxed as he assessed and adjusted my son, explaining in detailed what he was doing and why. During the whole process my son was so relaxed and never even made a peep during the first session. Since than Breastfeeding has improved and we are now moving in the right direction on our feeding journey. My son has never been so calm and relaxed in evenings as he has been after our appointments with Antoine I look forward to seeing him for myself and my daughter in the future. And I would highly recommend him to anyone considering seeing a DO
