Had to endure it for 3 weeks( after hoping it would go away with just massage and physiotherapy), until I decided to try the first chiropractor in kitchener that popped up with the best reviews in kitchener. I have never tried using the services of a chiropractor in my life, now I know what I missed out on. Being tall, I always have upper back issues, and lower back pain to long sitting hours at a desk job. After the first session itself with Dr. Adrian, I could sleep better with lesser pain. The pain itself was reduced by I'd say by about 80-90%. Such a relief. I'm sharing my own personal story, because I was so used to having small lower back pain, that I never really paid attention to them. Today I can say that they helped me a lot. I feel different with all the pain gone, and all without medication. I'll also like to add it's been a while I went to a medical / health practitioner, where the receptionists / admin staff are so pleasant, kind and understanding. Even the cleanliness of the place - feels very reassuring. The doctor Adrian himself being very friendly, patient , listening well to your concerns, issues, makes you feel completely at ease. Expérience fantastique: For the moms out there, this one’s for you! My daughter was born premature with a significant tongue-tie which made our breastfeeding journey painful and tedious. Despite having her tongue-tie released, I found she was still struggling with her latch and, at times, just seemed so uncomfortable in her little body, so I wondered if her muscles and joints were overworked and overtired from compensating for so long. After scouring the internet for pediatric chiropractors in the area (which are so limited as it is), I landed on Dr. Nik and decided to book an assessment. Going in as a first time mom, I was a little apprehensive but trying to stay open-minded because for me, when I thought about chiropractics, I thought about cracking and that made me nervous for my baby. Im happy to report that what I got instead was the complete opposite of what I was nervous of! Dr. Nik went through our whole intake form and talked about how chiropractics and getting things realigned might help certain areas my daughter seemed to struggle with (latch, reflux, gassiness, etc). He explained that with babies there are no tools used and no cracking involved, and even went as far as to demonstrate the kind of pressure he’d be using on my daughter on my neck so that I had a better understanding of what she’d be experiencing which was SO reassuring. After doing his assessment on her, he explained where he found tension was in her neck, but also after assessing her mouth he showed me just how tight her little muscles were beneath her tongue which I never would have thought to check! Her adjustment was SO quick and simple and after a little complaining on her end, she was all finished and back in my arms for a snuggle. It’s a gradual process so we now go a couple times a week and slowly but surely we’re starting to see improvement! Everyone in the office is so lovely and welcoming from the minute you walk through the door! The ladies love to see my daughter and often sit with her or carry her around to keep her occupied while I get my adjustment done first, which - by the way - as a breastfeeding mama (or even just a mama period), you know the neck and back pain is brutal. The reduction in the pain I was experiencing has been incredible after only a few visits! All in all, this long review is to say that chiropractic care for your baby is not nearly as scary as you would think and can help your baby in so many different ways!

I am a varsity volleyball player at the University of Waterloo and faced immense shoulder, neck, and back pain during my season. Dr.Nik made sure I could get back to competitive sport as quickly as possible while ensuring that any additional needs I had were met. Expérience fantastique: I will start off by saying that Fairway Chiropractic Centre is a beautiful practice with extremely friendly and kind staff. I was referred by a friend who has seen/felt some amazing results! The purpose of my visit is because I have been dealing with sciatica a few times this year already and at the time it first flared up, I had gone to a physiotherapist 3x/week for 2 months and it just didn’t seem to do anything. Now I have finally decided to try something new. For a long time I was terrified to go see a chiropractor all while knowing I needed to have work done. The fear came internally- imagining that I will not be positioned correctly and something would go wrong. The sound of cracks even instilled a slight fear- meanwhile I love the feeling. Little did I know that all those fears but more importantly -the pain- were going to melt as soon as my first adjustment had been completed. Expérience fantastique: I’ve been experiencing toe pain (right foot) and tightness for a long time.I had slip and fall in 2019, and few injuries prior to that which I guess caused the toe pain. I had tried acupuncture and massage without significant improvement. Dr Nik quickly determined some alignment problems in my spine and after a few visits I began to see steady improvement. Expérience fantastique: I had a slip and fall injury last year January 2023. Multiple places like my ankle, lower back knee and hip injuries, and excruciating pain in my Lumbar muscle. All the injuries were on the critical parts of the right side of my body. I went for Physiotherapy as suggested by my family doctor for 6 months, but to my disappointment the condition was getting worst as I Began experiencing pain in other parts of my body. I was loosing hope that would ever be OK since it had been well over an year after my injury. I just mentioned that my right hip was very tight and he treated a very tight muscle in my lower abdomen along with spinal adjustments. I felt relief after the first treatment. Expérience fantastique: I have been attending /Dr. Steve Murdoch for almost 25 years, after having been in a motorcycle-car head-on crash, wherein I was cut-off by a car, having suffered severe head, neck, and spinal injuries from which 'regular' medicine could not alleviate my neck pain, and having tried for over 2 years i was told to "learn to live with it". Chiropractic treatments, alleviated my neck issues which made me feel entirely normal: i became happier, functioned better, saved my marriage, and started swimming, and body-building again. It has always been a very easygoing place, the secretaries are great the care that I received was great I went there not being able to move my neck. I had two vertebrae in my neck that were pointing in different directions going from shoulder to shoulder instead of front to back. After a couple of adjustments I felt way better and I have been maintaining it ever since I swear by his methods. As for the person who said that the time in the waiting area was long, it sometimes is but for the most part it is really quick. Everywhere you go for an appointment there will always be times either the patient is late or the doctor is running a little behind. My original issues were Sacroiliac related and that from wearing a heavy tool belt for far too many years on my right side. That did take some time to correct itself but have had no issues for quite a number of years. I am still very active with playing hockey and enjoying what life brings on. I have been retired now for over ten years and only see Steve once a month or so for maintenance. There is even a senior discount for us seniors.

I have seen a number of Chiropractors and have found it extremely helpful in the level of pain and it has improved my all around health and well-being. Dr. Murdoch is a highly skilled Chiropractor with many years of experience. This week, I was in crisis and had what felt like sciatic pain. I know there is not a quick fix for things of this nature, however after one adjustment, I was able to stand upright again an had immediate increased mobility. The pain was lessened by at least half after the first adjustment and even more so after the. His advice of icing and walking helped tremendously. One of his adages is “Motion is Lotion” and this helped so much as well. His wisdom and knowledge is paramount. I appreciate his expertise. He listens and is very patient and understanding. The staff is very helpful and pleasant.

Expérience négative: I was pretty disappointment with Dr. Murdoch. I came to his clinic after being in unbearable pain for 18 months from pinched nerves. He assured me that he could help. The staff at his clinic are super nice and friendly. I would book an appointment to come in but end up waiting 20 plus minutes for my turn. Dr. Murdoch spends about 3 minutes on treatment and many more minute's chatting about useless things and in my opinion wasting everyone's time. I came for treatments 2-3x a week for 4 plus months and had zero improvement and often felt worse after. After several weeks of treatment, he felt I should have been 75% better and was shocked when I said zero so then would reply "it's not the one but the many" so I would keep coming back. I often felt he would not give my neck enough time to fully relax before an adjustment therefore resulting in no adjustment. I never felt like he cared about me as an individual and more of just a number. I'm sad I wasted so much money and was left in the same state as the beginning. I started going to an osteopath and immediately felt relief. I recommended anyone reading this to forgo the chiro and try osteo instead.
