Expérience négative: I had a very disappointing experience today with front desk office staff member(Janel) today. I have been having back pain for the past two weeks, so I booked a 2-hour massage (1 hour + 1 hour). They scheduled it as two hours back-to-back, and my appointment was today at 1:00 PM At 12:30 PM, I emailed and called to confirm whether they were open, as the website showed the business was closed. When I called, the staff member informed me that the massage therapist was still coming and would be late. I completely understood that, considering it’s New Year’s and weather was ok until that point.However, when I asked how late—5, 10, or 15 minutes—so I could plan accordingly, I was told it would be 45 minutes late. When I questioned this, Janel’s tone became rude, and she said she had no control over the weather or situation. Since I am working tonight, I told her I wouldn’t be able to come. On top of that, she then said I only had a 1-hour appointment and that Amanda forgot to inform me. Seriously? This level of miscommunication and unprofessional behaviour is unacceptable. I have never experienced this kind of service before. I would not recommend this place, as situations like this will cause them to lose the trust. This situation was entirely due to miscommunication. In the future, if you have customers, please make sure to reach out to them in advance. Most of us are working professionals, and our time matters.If there are weather conditions or delays, it would be more appropriate for the clinic to call the customer and inform them ahead of time, rather than waiting for the customer to call and ask.Similarly, if an appointment needs to be canceled, please notify the customer before the scheduled time and clearly communicate that it won’t be possible.
