Expérience fantastique: I went to PhysioStop after injuring my shoulder and had the opportunity to receive treatment from Tess Woldring. From the beginning, Tess took the time to explain in a clear and easy-to-understand way where my pain was coming from and what I could do to improve it. She also taught me a variety of rehabilitation exercises, which helped me stay consistent with my recovery rather than simply relying on treatment sessions. What I appreciated most was her thoughtful and attentive approach. At every appointment, she carefully explained what she was doing and why, and I always felt that the treatment was tailored to how my shoulder was progressing. Thanks to her careful treatment and guidance, my shoulder has improved significantly. At this point, I feel that the remaining part of my recovery is mostly up to me, continuing the exercises and maintaining the progress we have made. I especially appreciate that Tess focuses not only on reducing pain, but on helping patients regain movement and return to their normal activities. I am genuinely grateful for the care and support she provided throughout my recovery. I would highly recommend Tess Woldring to anyone dealing with pain or looking for professional guidance with rehabilitation. I would also like to thank the reception team for always being so helpful with scheduling and making adjustments when needed. They consistently welcomed me with warm greetings and friendly smiles, which made every visit feel comfortable and pleasant. Expérience fantastique: I've worked with Leah for a serious L4-L5 disc herniation. Before working with her, I had seen another physiotherapist and didn’t feel like I was getting the care or results I needed. I was hesitant to start from scratch with another physiotherapist, but am extremely happy I did. Leah took the time to really understand what was going on and created a thoughtful, exercise-based recovery plan that actually worked. She’s knowledgeable, compassionate, and extremely skilled at what she does. I’m nearly fully recovered, lifting weights again, and physically stronger and healthier than before my inury. I highly recommend her!

I have a chronic illness that has led to complex health issues. Teryn is exceptional at working with complex health issues and works collaboratively with clients to help find intuitive healing pathways for physical issues. Teryn is also very warm, highly respectful and valuing of client experience. She is such a joy to work with. I wholeheartedly recommend Teryn!

Expérience fantastique: I’ve been seeing Dacia for almost 10 years now. I tried other physio clinics over the years but no one even comes close to Dacia, so I would drive to see her even though I live in a different city now. She solved problems that others couldn’t, from after sport injury rehabilitation, to work caused neck pain, to woman’s body related issues. She and other physiotherapists at PhysioStop work with your body, all of it: nerves, ligaments, joints, bones, etc. as a whole system, and make everything play together nicely. I really appreciate them explaining what is wrong and what they are doing to fix me, every time I come I get a crash course about human anatomy. They educate and empower you to spot when a similar issue just starts coming back and what exercise to do to make it go away or prevent it from happening. I don’t have enough words to describe how greatful I am to find Dacia 10 years ago, highly recommend!

Expérience négative: Looking the reviews at the other clinic Dr chinna works and the one in here I am surprised he still practicing medicine. He was yawning during my appointment and texting on his phone. He doesn’t care about his patients. Really frustrating after 5 months of waiting to see an specialist and I ended up with this guy. The only kind and helpful person is his assistant.

Expérience fantastique: I booked with Tiffany due to a rapidly worsening nerve issue that needed immediate treatment, but I wasn't expecting any miracles. Well, apparently I should have been! Within a day I went from being in agony and unable to use my arm, to almost total range of motion and no pain. Since fixing my nerve problem I've continued to see her for chronic issues I had accepted as part of aging; within a few visits I've seen marked improvement across the board. Not only is Tiffany a fantastic physiotherapist, but a lovely person that I look forward to seeing. 10/10, would (and have!) recommend to friends and family.

Expérience fantastique: Dacia is a miracle worker! Her approach is different from many other practitioners I’ve been to. I’ve seen good physios and chiros in the past, but none can compare to her level of expertise and effectiveness. She was able to fix an issue I’ve had for half a year, no other practitioner was able to spot the root cause and she healed me. She has also helped so many family members resolve issues they’ve had for years. What really sets her apart is the passion she has for her profession and the level of care for patients. She is just a wonderful person. Highly recommend her services!

Expérience négative: Dr. Chhina did not do his due diligence in investigating my car accident injuries. I was misdiagnosed with chronic pains when I really needed an ultrasound which shows ruptured tendons. I will never return here or trust this clinics medical staff again. After 1 year of excruciating pains and not a single doctor decided to actually do their job and investigate. Expect me to contact further actions available to me for legal advice. You did not provide me with the medical care a patient is required. It is your job as a doctor to investigate all possible outcomes and you did not Dr. Chhina. I will never recommend you. This review is real and true. I was seen by Dr chhina as a referral from my nurse practitioner and she didn’t even do her job either when I begged for an ultrasound from her 2 previous times before the 3rd attempt that finally got booked. Dr. Chhina said he would offer me pain management which means heavy addictive narcotics that will help with pain other than doing their job as medical professionals and researching and investigating the problem. They want to pain manage instead of put forth the effort of investigating. I have been dealing with this injury and now require surgery which should have been done DAYS after the actual injury happened, but due to refusals from all over the medical industry on ICBC CASES I have been FORCED to have this pain undiagnosed and improperly tended to by this clinic and others for longer then a year. My car accident was on July 11th 2023 I see a response below and I was seen at this clinic with DR.Chhina he was in this clinic the day I saw him which is why I am reviewing this location. Your receptionists would be the only trustworthy people here to be fair. Your clinic should take accountability for all practitioners working there.

Initially I visited various physios at different clinics, but soon realized that Dacia is on a whole other level. She approaches problems like a proper engineer, and is very good at explaining what is wrong, why, what we're doing right now to fix it, and what I need to do at home to prevent recurrence, improve movement range, etc. And her treatments actually work. She has built a great like-minded team at PhysioStop, and I highly recommend this place.

Expérience fantastique: One year ago I suffered a powerlifting injury resulting in a L4/L5 and L5/S1 disc herniation in my lower back. I consulted various different practioners with little success before I came to Physiostop. Both Dani and Leah have done an phenominal job in supporting my recovery. Their attention to detail has been outstanding, looking at all potential contributing factors to lower back pain such as hip moblity, imbalances, muscle weakness, etc, making sure to leave no stone unturned. Their recovery plans are personalized and catered to your specific goals and mental well-being, as they understand the recovery journey is different for everyone and more difficult for some. Not only are they focused on pain elimination, but also prevention, as they will work closely alongside you to minimize the chances of the same injury occuring again. It has been 1 year since my injury and I am pleased to say I have been able to return to a pain-free life and continue to work with them to achieve my powerlifting goals. Although their prices are above average compared to other Physiotherapists I have worked with, I assure you at Physiostop you get what you pay for. If you are serious about your health and rehabilitation, look no further.

She is very knowledgeable and I can see she's very passionate about helping people. Physiostop will send friendly reminders two hours prior to an appointment and whenever I needed an appointment booked, their receptionist would contact me to make my schedule very accommodating. They also moved next door and now their gym is really spacious and beautiful. I would recommend everyone to see Leah at Physiostop any day!

I started off with so much physical problems from neck to toe, due to a snowboarding injury, bad posture, wrong breathing and feet problems which she curiously analyzed and manually treated for me one by one, and now, I am slowly understanding how this complicated body works and feeling certain relief that I have never felt before with my previous and numerous chiropractors, massage therapists, physiotherapists and acupuncturists for hundreds of hours of sessions that hardly bring in long term results in a span of almost a decade, until she was recommended to me by one of these therapists. My knee pain has been on and off for years and I could never figure out the cause of the pain. Many people told me it was growing pain, but getting into my 20’s, my knee was still hurting and I did not think I was doing anymore growing. As someone who has been a body worker myself for 20 years, Im often disappointed by the level of knowledge of other body workers. Not in this case. Expérience fantastique: I first visited Dacia for physiotherapy in 2017 for a sudden on-set of back pain I was experiencing from recreational powerlifting. She was able to treat the underlying issue and educate me on how to take preventative measures through exercises to avoid re-injuring myself while returning to lifting. She eventually moved to a clinic further away from me so I decided to find a new physiotherapist for the sake of convenience and a shorter commute time. Fast forward to 2020, I was rear ended while stopped at a traffic light and knew I wanted the best treatment for my recovery. The day immediately following the accident, I visited Physiostop and was pleased to hear Dacia has been growing and mentoring her own team since I had last seen her. I've been primarily been working with Leah for my physiotherapy treatments and she has been so adept and invaluable with assessing, treating and explaining the biomechanics of my injuries. I've recently started active rehab with Zoe who has also been very contributive to the beginning of my journey of regaining my range of motion, stability and strength back. I'm so glad I was able to reconnect with Dacia and to experience the care that her and her team provide at Physiostop. The commute time (up to 45 minutes) is 100% worth the quality of skillful treatment, professionalism and friendliness provided by Dacia, Leah and Zoe.

Expérience fantastique: After over a year of physio with Dacia and her team, which made a huge difference to my quality of life, I decided to try their Restorative Physio. It was amazing!! It was a physio session that focuses on stress reduction and tension release rather than healing injury. My session was with Leah and she was so great. She checked in often and kept me very comfortable. I spent the first 10 minutes of my appointment making a mental list of all the people in my life that would love this treatment but then had too stop because I was too relaxed to think about anything. A great option for those, like me, who love massage. But also great for those who may not like the getting undressed and intense touching part of massage, as you stay fully dressed and contact with the therapist is much more precise and targeted. The aromatherapy paraffin wax treatment that came with the session was a fun treat too and really added to the overall spa like experience. I would really recommend this to everyone.

Expérience fantastique: The ONE THING that FINALLY helped me RELAX after A WEEK OF STRESS! A restorative physiotherapy session with Leah!! I had been going 110% non-stop trying to meet my work deadlines. It felt like EVEN IN MY SLEEP, my mind and body were TENSE and BUZZING. I just couldn’t release that stress. After my restorative physio session I felt like my nervous system was RESET!! I mean yes, our minds technically control our bodies but no matter how much I had tried to exude chill vibes, mediate, stretch and relax, I had kept feeling TENSE and I couldn’t shake it off. I’m SO GLAD I went today and would recommend! Summary of the session - started with a paraffin wax + essential oil hand treatment - applied some traction to relieve tension in neck, jaw, shoulder and hips - worked through my hands and feet - finished off with manual therapy to my neck and mid-back Seriously, check it out!

I saw physiotherapists, chiropractors, osteopaths, acupuncturists, and got zero longterm improvement, and their adjustments often caused my pain to flare up leaving me worse than before my treatment. I went to my first appointment with Dacia full of skepticism. I soon realized that Dacia had the skill level and clinical knowledge to help my pain without flaring my symptoms. Within four treatments I was seeing lasting improvement, for the first time ever. I saw Dacia every two weeks for about 6 months and my pain improved dramatically. With Covid I did not see Dacia for 4 months. In the past that would have been 4 months of bad pain and headaches but to my amazement Dacia’s treatments had let me heal enough that I remained comfortable. Dacia, Leah and Zoe are by far the best physiotherapy and kinesiology teams I have had. Their approach to healing is more than the traditional electrode and passive therapies i have had in the past. They work within my tolerance while still pushing my body little by little to heal. I thoroughly recommend Physiostop. They will help you heal!

Expérience fantastique: Dacia (PT) used to be a 10 min commute from my home. Now, her practice is a 35-45 min drive away depending on traffic and it is still 110% worth the commute. With chronic back pain lasting 2+ years from a workplace injury, I was no stranger to weekly physio treatments. At countless other PT’s I experienced symptom relief for 4-5 days but would be completely dependent on my next session to remain functional at my job. It felt hopeless. Without exaggeration, Dacia completely changed how my body felt after two (one hour) sessions. Her staff are kind and welcoming. She is incredibly knowledgeable and happy to share her knowledge and teach you about your body. Her treatments are an absolute necessity. Dacia is a literally household name amongst my friends and family.
