Thank you for your feedback and for being a client of our clinic over the past two years. We truly appreciate the kind words you shared about our therapists and front desk team—they work hard to provide the best possible care to every patient.

However, we feel it’s important to clarify the situation for transparency. This was the third short-notice cancellation within less than our 24-hour cancellation window, which is a policy we consistently uphold to respect the time of our practitioners and other patients. Our team members set aside their time to care for each individual, and last-minute cancellations impact their schedules and the availability of appointments for others.

In this particular case, our Registered Massage Therapist waited at the clinic for three hours today specifically for your appointment. A phone call earlier in the day—especially with the snowstorm being forecasted for the past two days—could have allowed us to adjust the schedule and potentially fill the slot, avoiding the impact on our practitioner’s day.

While we understand that life happens, and we always aim to be flexible when emergencies arise, repeated last-minute cancellations prevent us from offering that same flexibility to others who may be in need of care.

Our cancellation policy is in place not as a penalty, but as a standard practice to ensure that both our patients and our team are respected. We strive to be understanding when emergencies arise, but repeated last-minute cancellations can affect our ability to provide quality care.
