Fantastic experience: This review for the amazing Dr. Emily has been incredibly overdue. I started seeing her in 2021 and since then, she’s helped me through two pregnancies, two postnatal cares and one ICBC claim after I was rear ended. She also helped my first baby when he had mild torticollis (he started lifting his head right after!) and my second baby who would SCREAM in the car. After only two appointments, my baby sleeps in the car as soon as he’s in his seat while my oldest still asks to see her. She’s been essential in different stages of my life and I appreciate her gentle care so so so much. I highly recommend Dr. Emily and look forward to our appointments!

Fantastic experience: By far, the best clinic I’ve been to, from the friendly front desk staff, to amazing therapists. I have been seeing the massage therapist Terry Canning for 4 years now, most of the time bi-weekly. She is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to treatments, uses different techniques and methods and is very attentive to one’s needs. Terry is very hardworking and reliable; she doesn’t cancel on you. You can tell that Terry loves what she does. It comes through with her always upbeat attitude, and the overall positivity. So lucky to have found her! Would recommend the clinic for both the massage and the chiropractor services! Terry introduced me to Dr.Emily, who too, is a fantastic practitioner and a lovely person. I was very hesitant to try chiropractic services again after a not-so-great previous experience. Dr.Emily changed that for me with her approach and the results. She truly cares about her patients! Fantastic experience: I started seeing Dr. Mitch Spooner 2 years ago when pregnant with my second baby. He has helped so much. He is very knowledgeable and goes through why a pain might be occurring and gives you stretches to do. My husband now sees him as well. Mitch is very respectful and kind. The staff at Willoughby Family Chiropractic is amazing! Highly recommend. My husband and I both also see Corinna Rogers and Miah Schinborn for RMT and they both are incredible. Very knowledgeable and know what they are doing. I highly recommend them as well.

Miah Schinborn is the best RMT I have ever used, strong knowledge of the body and can really find and manipulate the spots that need the most work. Recovery from injury has never been as fast. Dr Spooner is equally incredible, really helping with some injury recovery and mobility. Immediately finding a problem area in my hips and manipulating it back into mobility Overall extremely happy with the quality of service. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Mitch Spooner was amazing! I saw him while I was pregnant and was experiencing a lot of pain. Everyone in my life told me it was "just pregnancy pain" and I just had to deal with it, but I visited Dr. Spooner and with just a few sessions he fixed me and relieved my pain. I saw him throughout the rest of the pregnancy and had no pain at all. He's amazing, definitely recommend!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Emily McManus was recommended to me by my doulas to help with my extreme pubic symphysis pain during my 3rd trimester of pregnancy. After my first adjustment it’s been night and day difference. I can walk without a waddle, stairs aren’t a problem anymore, I can roll side to side in bed and getting in and out of bed is much easier now too. My only regret is not coming to see her sooner. Fantastic experience: Willloughbu chiro has been wonderful for our son! We started going there when he was a few weeks old to see Dr. Spooner and are so happy with the service! From reception to Dr. spooner himself, everyone is so kind and professional. I was nervous about getting body work done on our new baby but Dr. Spooner was super gentle and really helped him resolve some of his tummy issues.

Fantastic experience: Like many others working from home right now, i'm working longer hours on my laptop and deal with constant neck/back issues. With that being said, i'm in a situation where I will have to constantly need ongoing Massage Therapy. I've seen multiple therapists, and so far Miah has shown that she has the knowledge and intuition to identify and treat everything that has come up. With other therapists, it may take multiple visits to be able to zero in on what might be causing discomfort or limited range of motion, but Miah is incredible at being able to quickly determine what the issue is, and how to treat it. I have found Miah to be easy to communicate with, and she makes you feel comfortable with her personable approach to improving your condition. Miah's knowledge and techniques are applied in a way to help you with your specific needs, and she is able to have just the right amount of pressure applied (something i've found difficult with other therapists). Miah is truly amazing at what she does! What a great addition to Willoughby Family Chiropractic & Massage Therapy!

Fantastic experience: I was referred to the office by my girlfriend. I located the office quite easily, it is just off the highway in a nice complex. Lots of parking. I was greeted at the office by a cute small dog belonging to the office. Dr Spooner is a magician. While I was a police officer, I had back surgery years ago and have been in pain since. Dr Spooner learnt a lot about me during the introduction and was very easy to talk to. Dr Spooner was able to provide me with relief immediately. I have been going one to two times a week since and have found relief during every adjustment. Dr Spooner also helped me understand the mechanics of movement by using props and actual demonstration. I am an avid golfer and Dr Spooner is key for my game. He understands sports medicine on the highest level as he played professional hockey and shares his wealth of knowledge. Dr Spooner is going to set me up with orthotics in the future which will help as well. I also have had one session with Terry, RMT. She is great as well, easy to talk to and very knowledgable with a great skill set. The office was able to set up my direct billing in a seamless manner as well. 10/10 would recommend.

Fantastic experience: After Low Back + BOTH Jaw Surgery, & attending 1/mth for massage therapy over the past 25 yrs; I had THE BEST massage of my Life with Terry Canning, a couple of weeks back❣️ She found the knots AND, stuck with them 'till gone (& didn't even hurt )❣️ Plus: After being unable to properly open my jaws wide for about 8 yrs (something 'Popped' near my TMJ‍♀️); last week's massage with Terry totally released my jaws once again! It feels wonderful to be able to take a big bite out of an apple again❣️☺️✔️

Negative experience: I booked a massage therapy appointment with Terry Canning. Upon my arrival, the receptionist told me that Terry will not give me a massage because I am an ICBC patient. I was not told this over the phone when I made my appointment. I said I will just pay for the massage myself, instead of billing to ICBC, because I really needed it and its hard to book appointments with other RMTs last minute - and she still refused me.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Mitch has been exceptionally patience and kind while working with my 2 year old child. He goes out of his way to make her feel comfortable during the session. The treatments are effective and age appropriate. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this office for your chiropractic needs!

This woman has magic hands and a magic heart!

Fantastic experience: I had never been to a chiropractor before early 2020, when my back went out and I couldn't stand up straight. Dr. Mitch Spooner was able to see me quickly and remedy the situation within one visit, which I was very grateful for. While he was adjusting my back, he walked me through the process, explaining what was happening and why I had the symptoms I did. I very much appreciate understanding the 'why', so I can avoid future issues, so this was really helpful. Dr. Spooner is kind, professional, and always on time. I love being visited by the office dog upon arrival, too!

The clinic atmosphere is always a very welcoming, friendly and extremely clean environment. All of the staff members are extremely personable and are carefully following all COVID Protocols in a professional manner.
