Negative experience: The massage therapist is amazing, but if you have spinal issues, this is the perfect place for your problems to get worse. It’s disappointing because you aren't listened to; the physiotherapist is dismissive. Whenever you say the exercises hurt or that you aren't ready, you're told it's a mental block—even though you can feel that something is definitely wrong... I am entirely certain of the clinic I visited :Stride Physiotherapy Angus ,Payal Desai physiotherapist Assuming a patient forgot where I went and now,, fake review" rather than taking feedback seriously is the exact dismissiveness I encountered during my appointment. I am confident in my experience at your clinic, and your response speaks for itself.

Fantastic experience: Payal is an absolute gem. I have rehabbed with her for several injuries with the most recent been for chronic tennis elbow. She never fails to put you on the right road to recovery. She lets you know upfront what the recovery will can look like and what it will look like if you do not put the work in outside of the appointments. She is extremely knowledgeable and Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic experience at Stride Physiotherapy while rehabbing my knee. From start to finish, the team was professional, welcoming, and truly invested in my recovery. A special shoutout to Payal, who was absolutely incredible throughout the process. She’s extremely knowledgeable, took the time to explain everything clearly, and tailored my rehab plan to suit my needs and goals. What really stood out was how accommodating she was, always making sure I was comfortable and progressing at the right pace without pushing too hard too soon. Thanks to her guidance and support, my knee is feeling much stronger and pain free. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Stride Physiotherapy to anyone looking for expert care and a personalized rehab experience.

Negative experience: Very disappointing experience. They refused to provide our records without charging a $75 fee, while many other clinics don’t charge anything for this. The front desk staff, in particular, were extremely rude and unprofessional on the phone. Their customer service is lacking and they don’t know how to speak to clients respectfully. Definitely would not recommend — stay away.

Fantastic experience: I got a major knee injury playing volleyball, and was referred to Stride for almost 3 months. It was excellent, I was given good treatment with great advice on how to recover. The staff has a very friendly, no nonsense approach. I highly recommend

Negative experience: Extremely disappointing experience at Stride Physiotherapy. I’ve visited Stride three times, and each time there were issues with direct billing. During my first visit, I was told they offer direct billing to insurance. I provided my Manulife information, but was told it wasn’t going through, so I paid out of pocket and submitted the claim myself. No problem. During my second visit, I didn’t bother trying again and simply paid and left with the receipt. On my third visit in April, I asked the front desk (a newer staff member, there for about three months) to try billing my insurance again. She attempted twice, said it didn’t work, and I paid the full amount once more. Later, when I submitted the claim to Manulife, I was informed they had already paid Stride directly for the same service. Assuming it was an honest mistake, I contacted Stride expecting a simple refund. However, they denied having my insurance info on file or ever filing a claim. Frustrated from this back and forth, I then three-way called with Manulife, who provided clear proof that the claim was submitted and paid to Stride. They even emailed the confirmation directly to them, with me copied. Despite this, Stride continued to deny receiving the payment. Manulife launched an internal investigation, and their findings confirmed the funds were deposited into Stride’s bank account. I now have all documentation from Manulife confirming this, yet Stride still refuses to acknowledge it and continues directing me back to my insurer even though they received the payment. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend Stride to anyone. What happened was not just a mistake, it feels dishonest, and the lack of accountability is unacceptable.

Fantastic experience: Payal and the staff at Stride were absolutely amazing. I had a complete ACL replacement and meniscus repair with a few complications during recovery that required me to get a second surgery. Payal was extremely understanding and compassionate during this time and helped me recover and surpass my expectations of mobility and strength. She also went above and beyond while dealing with WSIB. I highly recommend Payal and the Team at Stride. If I require physio in the future, I’ll be going to Stride.

Fantastic experience: Went in with a sever lower back injury, losing almost a week of work, and after 2-3 months of physio from stride, I am back at the gym working out every day, can't thank you enough for all the help.

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough about Payal and her staff, so thoughtful, caring. I was totally discouraged with my rotator cuff tear, I couldn’t get my shoulder to do anything. Payal was awesome, she explained this was not going to be an overnight fix, I was going to have to keep working on it. Showed me stretches, strengthening, pain relief tips, really got me moving. Fantastic experience: Payal is magic! I came in with knee pain from a sports injury and she helped treat the pain and gave me some exercises and stretches to strengthen the area. She is very kind and will teach you about what is happening with your injury instead of just telling you what it's called. For me, she explained my injury with a diagram and showed me what happened, how it happened, and what to do about it. I would highly recommend this establishment and would recommend anybody to ask for Payal!

Fantastic experience: After having shoulder surgery I went to Stride for my Physio. Payal is very friendly and an experienced professional and did great work getting my shoulder back to normal again. I would highly recommend Stride for your physiotherapy needs!

Fantastic experience: I was having difficulty doing normal day to day activities due to neck and shoulder pain. Through the ongoing physio sessions, the physiotherapist (Payal) worked on my neck and shoulder; provided EMS to relax the muscles and gave me stretching/exercises to work on at home. I am doing much better and would highly recommend her as she is very professional, knowledgeable and courteous.

Fantastic experience: My experience at Stride Physiotherapy was excellent. Payal was extremely considerate and helpful as I recovered from a lower back injury over the course of several weeks. The sessions were extremely effective and the exercises that I learned to use at home also aided in the recovery process. Overall, Stride Physiotherapy is a place that I would highly recommend for injury recovery assistance. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and very respectful of the patient’s situation.

Fantastic experience: I decided to try Stride instead of the other physio clinic I have used in the past, and I am so glad I did! Payal is extremely knowledgeable and was able to assess my symptoms easily. Where my chiropodist said my big joints are seized and immobilized, Payal has been able to help me regain much of the mobility in these joints, and has shown me the actions I need to do to keep them that way. She also treated a Spring Ligament/Posterior Tendonitis with bone contusion injury, and in just a few weeks of treatment, has made the pain go away. I highly recommend Stride Physio, and will only go there in the future for treatment. Thank you Payal for your knowledge and care!!

Over the last few weeks I’ve gained better mobility, learned some strengthening exercises and most importantly I’ve been able to stop using anti-inflammatories for pain relief. I was having a hard time running and began to believe this was my journey to decline since I have MS. I decided to give physio therapy a try since I had more to gain than lose. My neighbor recommended Stride and so I made the call. So Happy I did! Payal is a wonderful person and even better physio therapist! She knew exactly what exercises I needed to get me running again! I couldn't believe after a couple of weeks of her training exercises I was running again! A couple of weeks more and I'm stronger than I have been in a very long time! Top notch! Fantastic experience: Great experience here. I have hip osteoarthritis and am experiencing constant pain. With the help of the Physiotherapist here, who is very attentive and compassionate, I am feeling a reduction in pain, in just two sessions. Its really nice that they can sometimes do direct billing to the insurance company, which is convenient and helpful. The place is always clean and everyone I have encountered so far has been really nice. I am so glad we have such a great physio in town, I don't want to drive all the way to Barrie for treatments!

I also had a massage therapy appointment at her practice and it was very helpful with my recovery.

Negative experience: I called Payal to make sure we could do direct billing for my husband and son. She said there was no problem. After their very first session. My husband texted me saying the sun life system was down. I have explained to a Payal before we can't pay upfront due to our financial situation I called her and explained I could pay tomorrow. She declined me and starting lecturing me she has no emotions and extremely rude. I am not returning back. I will drive to Barrie and go to physio and chiro there.

Fantastic experience: I had consulted Payal for my wrist pain . She was quite knowledgeable and explained me the cause of my pain and even used latest laser technique along with manual techniques which helped my pain to go down by 50% in first setting itself . I would definitely look forward to see her for all my future rehab needs.

Fantastic experience: I would definitely recommend taking treatment from Payal . She is an amazing physio and has excellent manual skills . I consulted her for pregnancy related back pain , after couple of sessions and excellent rehab exercises I felt better and was able to resume my day to day activities.

Fantastic experience: Payal is absolutely amazing, I am recommending her to everyone I know. After a recent injury, my knee pain was very bad. I called around town to find an appointment with a physiotherapist and other offices weren't able to see me for several weeks. Payal called me back personally to schedule an appointment within two days. She gave me some great advice over the phone to help me in the mean time before I could see her. Her treatment method is so personal and you can really tell how much she cares about her clients and their health. Since I was only able to afford a few sessions, she worked with me to make sure we would be able to get the most out of the few sessions I am able to schedule. She is very knowledgeable and was able to educate me about my condition. After only 3 appointments, I am nearly pain free! Thank you so much, Payal!
