Negative experience: i do not recommend this place. doctor is never seen in person, but always on an ipad. (I might add the person with the ipad has to call them 4-5 times before they even answer wasting several minutes) They say to do physio but dont give you any exercises to do, just say keep coming for laser therapy. The reception staff are great though

Fantastic experience: Dr. Moona has been was able to diagnose and correct a back issue that has ailled me for years. As a high performance athlete I have spent decades putting lots of stress on my body, the treatments I have received have restored my athletic performance to a level I didn't think was possible. My pain is all but gone and continued treatment is still yielding positive results. Aside from the stellar treatment, the staff could not be more polite, professional, and pleasant. The payment processes were easy and they were happy to process everything to my insurance on my behalf. I would certainly recommend this clinic to anyone seeking relief.

Negative experience: I recently received a “Checking in with you” email from this clinic and that reminded me that I never did a review of my treatment there. I dislike giving negative reviews but in my case it warrants it. I went there for treatment back in June 2022 for frozen shoulder issues. Dr. Moona was very nice and prescribed Laser and Shock Wave therapies to treat my condition. The problem was that it ended up being a student who provided the treatment. The treatment was for both shoulders but I started getting pain in my right shoulder after the treatments. After several treatments the pain was getting worse (inflammation and swelling). I would tell the student about the pain but she didn’t seem too concerned. After a few more treatments the pain got so bad that I couldn’t even sleep on my right side. I don’t know if my concerns got back to Dr. Moona or not and after several more sessions and telling the student about the increasing pain I stopped going and went to see my old Physiotherapist at Waterloo Sports Medicine who resolved the issue. I believe I should have had another consultation with Dr. Moona to change my treatment. Again I don’t know if my concerns were brought to Dr. Moona’s attention or if the student was just too inexperienced and didn’t relay my concerns. On a positive note the front staff were very nice.

Negative experience: Very high fees. Recommended unwanted therapies.

Fantastic experience: I was on the path to knee surgery. With the physio I got from Advanced Pain Relief team and the knee braces they prescribed for me, I am able to go back to my regular activities. I am so thankful to everyone at the clinic. Fantastic experience: I found this clinic online when I desperately needed a Chiropractor. I selected it simply because of it's name. The pain in my back was so bad I had to use crutches to walk and the clinic managed to fit me in within an hour, that same day. Dr. Moona treated me for the first time and could see how much pain I was in and he asked if I wanted a massage. I readily agreed and was surprised they had an available opening. To my surprise Dr. Moona informed me that it was his massage appt. he was giving up to create the opening for me. I was astonished and grateful. Additionally he had an open room and let my lie in one of his treatment rooms for an hour and 15 min until my massage time and while I can't remember the therapists name, he helped immensely. Wait there's more...Dr. Moona suggested I should have another treatment before his vacation departure the next evening to the Caribbean with his family and I happily accepted only if he felt he could honestly make the time for me. He asked for my cell number, said he would text me on his way back from his other clinic in Owen Sound to let me know when he'd be in back in Kitchener. He did and I met him at his clinic at 2:30, at which time I was surprised to learn that his clinic closes at 1 pm on Fridays and he came in and opened just for my appt. I have to say I've never met such a caring practitioner and am now a customer for life. Thank you Dr. Moona for being so considerate and going WAY above and beyond to help me, a random new patient, despite an extremely busy schedule. Steve

Fantastic experience: I visited advanced due too a sudden work related back injury. I wasn’t originally one to get regular adjustments but after seeing great results I have been back to see dr moona on multiple occasions. Highly recommend this chiropractor and clinic for other treatments aswell

Negative experience: It was weird that there wasn't a pricelist on a reception desk. In addition receptionist couldn't answer how much the treatment would cost. Before an appointment they send you questionnaire where you should choose your insurance company from the list. But finally it could be that they don't work with this company anymore.

Negative experience: They are the fast food of clinical care. No long term benefits. In and out as fast as possible. Will not be returning.

Negative experience: Avoid avoid avoid. If i could give less than one star, I would. I was referred here with a concussion and whiplash symptoms. They gave no advice on what not to engage in or treatment for the concussion and only provided unnecessary laser therapy for the whip lash. They did no testing or diagnostic processes at all. Thank god I spoke to my family doctor and am now seeing a proper physiotherapist who has been able to provide a detailed treatment plan with restrictions and steps toward recovery. If you doctor refers you here, ask for an alternative.

Fantastic experience: When seeking a chiropractor, it all depends on which chiropractor is doing adjustments. Some are unskilled. When my chiropractor Dr. Moona adjusted my left arm and inner elbow and he did it very skillfully, my pain was gone immediately. I assessed him to be highly skilled and allowed him to adjust my left hip, which had fallen out of place. I felt immediate results, and I could walk without any pain. The muscles in the lower and upper back had to get used to their new location and adapted well after about 5-8 days. I am thankful that I chose the right chiropractor. Thank you Dr. Moona and staff, who are equally, as great!

Fantastic experience: I suffered from Spondylolisthesis 23 years ago. I had surgery (fusion) in my lower back at that time and it basically worked, until Jan 2020 when I had extreme pain. Walking and sleeping were both very difficult. I saw physiotherapists, doctors and chiropractors, all of whom were marginally helpful. The chiro who helped me the most was scared of my surgery so she sent me to a physio. I continued to live with pain (and pain killers) that would come and go until... June 2022 - A friend suggested I should try spinal decompression. I contacted several clinics and Advanced Pain Relief Clinic was the one who responded. I met Dr Moona who called up my x-rays and was very confident in what he could do for me to relieve the pain. He suggested I start with laser and shockwave therapies for a 6-7 weeks, which I did. I seemed to sense some pain relief but I’m not sure. I was told these therapies were important to soften the tissues and ease things up. Towards the end of Aug 2022 Dr Moona fitted me with an expensive Spinal Decompression Belt - DDS 500 and told me how to use it. I’ve been wearing it quite regularly, usually once or twice a day for the past four months and finally feel ready to write this review. Because it is working! The pain has been slowly easing up and I’m pleased. During the past months I’ve had to change insurance companies and I learned that Sunlife has delisted Advanced Pain Relief Clinic. Dr Moona gave me a believable explanation which sounded like the delisting was very subjective and unjust. He gave me the name of a colleague who follows the same philosophy as he does for pain relief. This was disappointing to me because I haven’t seen Dr Moona for the past few months. But the belt has been working and the pain reduction speaks for itself. I highly recommend Dr Moona and his Clinic!

Negative experience: People are wonderful there, however, I feel like they don't do the best job. They just want you to keep coming back and wasting your money. I did laser for my broken ankle, each session was 3min. It helped, but I went to another physio place, and they said that Adv Pain Reief has the weak lasers. She gave me completely different exercises and pin pointed that I wasn't getting better 'cause I wasn't given calf exercises to loosen the muscles.

Fantastic experience: After a year of crippling pain and being shuffled between doctors, back clinics, physiotherapists and chiropractors I finally have relief. Dr Moona and Emily worked to release three vertebrae in my back and I am finally able to stand upright and walk without assistance. I highly recommend the Advanced Pain Relief Clinic to anyone suffering pain. They are caring, professional and get results!

Negative experience: I was referred to this clinic by one of the doctor from KW Urgent care clinic for back pain (Sciatica). I called the clinic and scheduled an appointment, the conversation with the front desk staff member was very pleasant. I went their on my scheduled appointment day, talked with front desk staff and they told me wait in one of the rooms for Dr Moona. Dr Moona came around 5 to 7 mins late (which I didn’t honestly mind) and then he makes a small talk and says unfortunately we don’t deal with Sunlife Insurance here so you’d have to go to some other clinic in Cambridge and they’ll take care of your case. I find this very unprofessional and unacceptable where you are calling the patients that who are suffering from some kind of pain all the way to the clinic and then just casually giving this information which should have been conveyed to them in the very first conversation. Their online portal form that you require to fill lists ‘Sunlife’ as insurer, if you are not dealing with them then why list them as insurance provider?? This is utterly ridiculous and you guys need to get a process in place in how to deal with your clients and what information to provide them before their visit. I have never experienced this kind of unprofessionalism before.

Fantastic experience: I wish to personally thank Dr. Moona for his "above and beyond" approach to assisting me. I had a number of days with excruciating headache, and had multiple appointments made with various experts to resolve the issue. Dr. Moona's office were able to get me in fairly quickly. He discovered some tension and inflammation and recommended a laser treatment and an adjustment. When I informed him that I was having a CTScan done, he asked me to contact him personally, as he wished to review it. He paused treatment until we were more clear. When I had the scan complete, and contacted him DIRECTLY, he returned my call PERSONALLY within an hour, and we discussed the outcome. He was aware of the formal diagnosis (temporal arteritis), and assisted me with his knowledge of the matter and next steps. The fact that he took such PERSONAL interest is the kind of health support, and "customer service" that we all look for in times of health issues. He met and exceeded those expectations. This is the kind of support our community health environment needs. Thanks to Dr. Moona and his staff for the tremendous support!!! We APPRECIATE your dedication!!!

Fantastic experience: I have had foot issues for the longest time, and recently the pain in my foot was almost out of control. I could barely walk. I tried homr remedies, bought stuff from the internet and nothing seemed to work. I heard a radio add and made an appointment thinking I was going to have to work around this or have an operation. I went into the clinic and met with Dr Moona who totally made me feel understood as he knew exactly what I was feeling (he even described it better than I could) -quickly diagnosed with plantar fasciitis and didnt think I would walk right again. I didnt find relief right away, and after about the 4th or 5th session, I was starting to get nervous. I shared my concerns with Dr M and he encouraged me to trust his expertise. I am so glad I did- as only a few more session (of shockwave) it was like night and day- the pain went away almost overnight. I was worried it would come back, and it didnt. I was VERY relieved (both mentally and physically). I cannot say enough about how positive my experience was with both Dr M and his staff. All very kind and understanding. - Would recommend 100%!!

Fantastic experience: I suffer from an autoimmune disorder that affects my spine. I have been in a flare so nad the past six weeks that i have in addition to neck amd back pain, i have been desperately short of breath. After xrays and a pulmonary functions test amd many prescribed inhalers, i still had no relief. I was so desperate and no one was taking new patients due to covid or they were booked for months. I however got into the clinic and with one treatment, Dr Moona had me taking big glorious breaths again. He did what the meds couldnt. I went home in tears, my husband thinking i was in pain, i had to explain that no, infact they were tears of joy because i could finally after almost 6 weeks take nice big beautiful breaths again. Fantastic experience: I have received a treatment from many chiropractor and physiotherapist in last 2 years for my back pain but none of them were able to fix the issue or determine the issue for my back. Negative experience: 9 minute physiotherapy visit got charged $270 with no any improvement ( 5 minutes laser and 4 minutes shake wave) another place did same thing for one hour half hour for eachmeach treatment total $55 and was helpful from first time They need more experience for pricing and compare other places

I was seeing a chiropractor once a month but than I had a bad muscle sprain in my back due to work. Dr. Monna suggested laser therapy and adjustments. After about 2 months of treatments 3 times a week I was right as rain...if not better. They are a fantastic team and take care of you properly.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Moona and his amazing staff gave me my life back and I can’t thank them enough. I am officially back to work now and couldn’t be happier. My mysterious leg pain started April/19. I was so frustrated when all my test results came back negative. All my hospital visits, by ambulance once and my specialist appointments were a waste of time. No one was helping me. I was ready to give up and just accept the fact that I was 44 in a wheelchair and couldn’t drive, walk or work. I am self employed so that was very hard. I thought I would just have to learn how to live with my severe leg pain. Just over month ago I met with Dr. Moona. The Clinic motto is “first we listen, then we heal”. That is exactly what they did. I had my first laser therapy and shock wave therapy treatment a month ago today. I am now excited to be able to say my leg pain is almost gone. More muscle weakness now from not using leg for a while. Just 3 weeks ago, I was still in a wheelchair and using crutches and leg pain was awful. Two weeks ago I was just using crutches, no chair and pain was lessening. Last week and currently I don’t need any aids. I am walking on my own and driving and working. I am able to go up and down stairs slowly. Two weeks ago not a chance. I have been getting 3 laser therapy treatments a week and one shock wave therapy treatment a week. Now massage therapy. A few more weeks and I should be fully back to normal. Even if you don’t have answers you don’t have to live in pain. I didn’t know what I was going to do. It was my Dad who told me I should try The Advanced Pain Relief Clinic. He was told from a neighbour who went through a similar situation as me and was helped so much. Much love

Fantastic experience: I am a 25 year old ex-varsity athlete with a long history of back injuries and chronic pain. For years I’d been dealing with various back-related issues, and had basically accepted that I’d have these issues for life. However, after only a couple of visits with Dr Moona, I saw huge improvements... and after two months of regular treatment, I can say for the first time in years that my back pain is truly gone! I can’t stress enough how important it is to go as often as he recommends - it’s more than worth the cost to see such drastic improvements and feel healthy again. Dr Moona is incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and kind, and I will recommend him to anyone who mentions their back pain to me from now on!

Fantastic experience: I have seen several chiropractors in the past. My back pain was so bad 2 years ago I could barely walk. That was when I found Dr. Moona. I just spent this past weekend at Heavy Montreal moshing in pits all weekend. I even ventured into the Slayer pits. All free of back pain. I can't thank Dr. Moona enough for giving me my life back.

Fantastic experience: My experience at Dr. Moonas clinic has been above and beyond helpful. I arrived at this clinic in the worst shape of my life dealing with 10/10 pains, unable to walk and lay down. A couple of weeks after beginning treatments I noticed large differences in everything for the better. The whole staff is always happy and ready to listen- from the front desk to the doctors themselves, everyone cares. I would have given 6 stars if I could!

Fantastic experience: I was walking on the side of my foot as I was unable to walk properly. Making my whole body out of alignment, especially my hips and lower back. Had intense constant pain all well as shooting pain that would make me cry. I was on a waiting list for foot surgery that would have made me bed ridden for months. I thought, what's the harm in trying shock wave therapy. I am over the moon happy I did. I now can walk like a normal person, am off the surgery list and have no pain in my hips. Fantastic experience: I had terrible pain in my lower back and right SI joint area down my butt and thigh for 3 years! I am a 56 year old woman. I had given up finding relief from my pain until I heard about Dr. Moona and his great staff! I have been faithfully going for laser/light therapy 3 times a week and shockwave therapy once a week - for 3 weeks now - and I am excited to say that I am starting to NOT have chronic pain and am sleeping so much better at night which is so awesome!! :) Dr. Moona is a warm, friendly, helpful, fantastic doctor who listens to your problems and is determined to help you become pain free! His staff are also wonderful! :)

Fantastic experience: I have started receiving treatment for a little over a month now from Dr.Moona and his staff which are amazing and very helpful. I want to say how amazed I am with how fast the treatments have been working and it has only been a short period of time and how my pain has decreased a lot within that time. Negative experience: Would not go there again

Negative experience: I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment with Dr Moona. After 30 minutes I was invited into one of the consultation rooms. After another 15 minutes of waiting inside, I left. While leaving, I saw Dr Moona at the reception having a pleasant conversation without any rush. I wish the procedure I was suppose to have would have been as long as the wait. Unfortunately, the procedure was only 30 seconds long but the charge was $75. I am very disapointed in the level of service and will not return even after the apologetic phone call that I received.

Fantastic experience: Dr Moona in less then a week has made incredible progress in getting me back to normal. L-5 s-1 herniation has been along struggle, with his help i cannot wait to be pain free .
