The ladies in the front office, lead by the indomitable Lady Brenda, go out of their ways to accommodate you. I have had to postpone or cancel far more my appointments than I would have liked, but they always made me feel special, and did whatever I needed. And always with smiles on their beautiful faces. I have been coming here for nine years, and they have allowed me to live in comfort I never hoped I would ever have. Bless them all.

Expérience fantastique: I was having a severe neck, shoulder and lower back pain because of the type of work I am into. I had my apprehensions for starting a Chiro treatment but anyhow gave it a try with Dr. Brent. It has been over 4 months now ! The way Dr. has handled my case- with so much of knowledge, skills and patience, I feel indebted to him. The seminar he presented on subluxation was an eye opener indeed. All this has made me stick to his treatment so much so that now my wife is also getting treated by him. Our satisfaction can be judged by the fact that we don't mind travelling from 1 end of the Kitchener all the way to his clinic. What started as a trial has turned out to be a part of our lifestyle and we would strongly recommend him to others as well.

They have been taking great care of me, and also my husband for a couple of years. Donna organises everything and Dr. Brent keeps us moving. Always smiles and absolute kindness. After two years I have come to think that they also must have bad days but I have never seen them. I am so grateful for the care that I receive there. You are doing a great job! I appreciate you!

Expérience négative: There's little evidence that subluxations are a real ailment - and as a skeptic, I tried Chiropractic adjustment myself for roughly a dozen visits. Nothing really happened except excruciating pain a few hours after the third "adjustment". When told that the treatment is not doing anything, chiropractor kept telling me some pseudo-scientific explanation and a promise for a better feeling next time. A better feeling or less pain never came. Don't get me wrong, this place has some great people, but there's nothing to back up anything a chiropractor says about subluxations. I'm sure there are some complications that would be better treated here than other practices, but subluxations in general aren't a real ailment. Do your research if you don't believe me. If you have back pain, physio and specific prescribed excercises work better.

Expérience fantastique: I started seeing Dr. Brent because of the constant back and neck pain I had from my desk job. I've tried other alternatives at first but none seemed to give me any long lasting relief. I decided to come to Family Chiropractic Centre when I saw a Facebook ad and thought that might help to ease my pain and I'm glad to have done so. After an initial group information session, a full health evaluation and X-ray scans were done, Dr. Brent listened to my concerns and is now helping me get back to my best.

Well I went to Dr. Brent's seminar with my husband and I couldn't help but think maybe I needed to see him too. So I did, I'm only into 2 adjustments so far with Dr. Brent and I am recommending him to every person I see!! He is so amazing, gentle and he hears you. I've been to so many people for my migraines, heart burn and anxiety, I never thought going to a chiropractor would help and here I am feeling the best I've felt in 10 years! I feel so welcomed when I come in after work to see Donna's smiling face. Thank you Dr. Brent and Donna for all that you do. I would highly highly recommend seeing Dr. Brent, he might be able to start your healing journey.

Expérience négative: went in for a consult and wasted an hour of my time listening to a well oiled "snake oil pitch", only to be told I have to come back for the "time share" pitch with a group of other potential clients just to pick a health care plan before I could then book a 3rd appt to actually get a treatment. My healthcare is a personal discussion, not to be made under high pressure sales tactics along with a group of strangers.

Expérience fantastique: The first time I walked into the office I could barely walk. My feet were numb, my legs were extremely weak, and every step hurt. Even though I wasn't scheduled to get an adjustment that day Dr. Brent gave me one and I immediately felt the tingling down my legs stop. Now, after 2.5 months, I'm able to walk without my cane and hardly feel any pain unless I walk too far or stand too long. I'm so happy I went to the Family Chiropractic Center that day. All the staff there are very friendly and greet me by name every appointment. I even had a couple appointments with Dr. Frank while Dr. Brant was on vacation and he also did a great job. Both Drs. are very knowledgable. I highly recommend going if you have any pains, or even if you don't. The spine houses the nervous system and if it's even a little subluxation the signals from your brain down through your body can be diminished causing you to not be 100% what you could be.

Expérience négative: Very much a revolving door. Dr. Frank is very kind and explains the procedure, but that was after I switched because I was not happy with Dr. Lipke. Using his little clicker gun thing to adjust you while looking up at the ceiling and not even paying attention to you while having a conversation. There are other practices in Guelph to go to. I was lucky and found one Aberfoyle Chiropractic and Wellness. Not worth the money here. Dr. Lipke will sell you stuff you don't need just so he can make an extra dollar.

Expérience négative: Worst chiropractor clinic I’ve ever been too! Basically had to buy a ‘plan’ and sit through a mandatory presentation basically getting you to buy their work. It’s terrible. I never felt fully adjusted when I left, it was done in less than 1 minute. Do not recommend!!!

Dr. Brent then reviews these with you and explains where he feels he can make a difference or not. What is most surprising is that the chiropractic process involves having your vertebrae not stress your spinal cord so your body can simply heal itself....just like when you get a cut, your body normally heals itself. I am shocked we do not all have a chiropractor like a GP, because many operations and medicines could be avoided with chiropractic care, It is an incredible, preventive type of self-care that really improves function. Dr. Brent also has his office computerised, so with the use of a FOB, your file is already waiting for him when he gets to you. If you wish to be cared for by the best, I encourage you to work with Dr. Brent and his entire team at Family Chiropractic Centre at the corner of Gordon and Kortright Rd.W.

Expérience négative: I signed up for a year of adjustments with Dr Brent because of numbness and tingling in my hands .I was diagnosed with a pinched nerve in my neck .After weekly adjustments and laying on a demerol to correct my issue. I still have the same problem after my year. Super nice people and Doctors but no cure for numbness and tingling as they advertise .

For years, I've been to physio and massage regularly and those modalities were sort of helping, but not giving me any long lasting relief from my on-going back and neck pain. I came across Family Chiropractic Centre when I saw their ad on Facebook and decided it couldn't hurt to try something new to ease my pain....and I'm sure glad I took a chance! Expérience fantastique: I have had back issues for as long as I can remember. A few months back, I was noticed that I couldn't walk in a straight line or keep my balance. My family practitioners and other professionals all told me I was making it up in my head until I met Dr. Brent. Dr. Brent was the first professional to ask me to walk in a straight line with my eyes closed and for the first time, cidated that something was wrong. He took a look at my back and knew immediately that my spine needed to be adjusted for years of damage. It's been a month so far and I am able to walk three steps, in a straight line with my eyes closed which I couldn't do a month ago. I recommend that everyone gets they're back checked. I see Dr. Brent and he has brought my mobility functions and pain levels to where I can work again! I do not wake or go to bed with pain. I have tendonitis in my right arm so bad I could barely grip my coffee mug! To say this clinic has "helped me" is an understatement. These people care about your progress and it definitely shows. Expérience fantastique: I’ve been going to see Brent since November of 2020, he helped so tremendously with my back pain and with my pregnancy. I now after having my son still go weekly and bring my newborn son to be seen by him. There is also amazing ladies at the front that bring such a positive atmosphere to the centre!

Expérience négative: I'd call them witch doctors but I'm uncomfortable describing anyone who works here as a doctor. What kind of legitimate medical establishment, before they treat you, forces you to bring a loved one to sit through a seminar where the entire content consists of pseudo-science jargon and multiple explanations about how this is totally legit and not a scam. After the seminar, and multiple appeals to bring them more customers, they will immediately recommend a generic, year-long treatment plan. Is there any other medical professional that will immediately present you with a 12-month long plan, and bill, without any mention of ongoing examinations or checking any progress? Ask your doctor if they would ever refer you to this place. Ask other Chiropractic offices if they would force you to sit through a sales seminar before beginning treatment. If the answer for both of these is no, you should take that as a warning sign. The only thing these people are good at is stealing your money. They will ask you to bring them children. Do not let them touch you.

Expérience fantastique: I started my chiropractic care with Dr.Brent in November of last year due too years of headaches and migraines. I wasn't quite sure of what to expect? I started noticing l wasn't getting as many headaches as usual ( which were 4x a week or more) and as time went on l would go an entire month without one!! I now understand why l would get headaches and where the problem was in the first place. The staff is always nice and welcoming , and Dr. Brent is always knowledgeable!! I was warmly welcomed by the receptionists, they helped me get settled and answered any questions I had. I met with Dr. Brent and he walked me through what kind of practice they ran and helped me figure out the best course of action and care. Expérience fantastique: A New Year, A New Beginning Happy New Year Everyone! I wanted to start 2021 off on a positive note. So, I decided that I would start with this review of the Family Chiropractic Centre in Guelph and Dr. Brent Lipke. In March 2020, one day before the lockdowns started, I underwent an inguinal hernia repair procedure at Shouldice Hospital (also highly recommended) in Toronto and everything went perfectly. However, 7 weeks post-op and a couple weeks into my recovery exercises, I woke up one morning in excruciating pain in my lower back/right hip area. Now, since this was in early May 2020, I was unable to see a doctor unless I went to emergency, which was pretty much a non-starter for me as it was early in the pandemic and I did not want to subject myself to potential infection at the hospital or put any extra burden on the healthcare system at that time. So, I ‘sucked it up’ and started using ice and heat to try to alleviate some of the pain until I could get into see either my own doctor or a chiropractor. Finally, on July 3rd, 2020 I was able to get an appointment with Dr. Brent at Family Chiropractic Centre and I am incredibly happy that I did. When I “walked” into the office, I was immediately greeted by the very professional and courteous staff at the reception where they proceeded to get me checked in quickly and efficiently. The next step was my first consult with Dr. Brent which was extremely thorough and informative. Once I was x-rayed and examined, Dr. Brent reviewed all his findings with me in detail and in a way that was easily understandable. I was asked if I had an ‘accident’ or a fall approximately 30 years ago. Talk about accurate? I took a fall down 17 steps back in 1990 which most likely was the foundation of my problems that went unchecked. He then proceeded to inform me that I have a pelvic torsion (twisted pelvis), stage 3 arthritis in my neck and stage 2 arthritis in my lower back. I thought. “Wow!” I had no idea my back and neck were so messed up and out of alignment, which was very apparent on the x-rays. The x-rays also showed 5 bone spurs on my cervical vertebrae. So, now that you have a background, I am extremely pleased to say that since I started my therapy program with Dr. Brent, I am no longer in pain, my posture is great and I no longer have any ‘snap, crackle and popping’ going on anywhere in my body. Though the work on my neck will continue for a while longer, my pelvis is now realigned, my multiple subluxations have been resolved and 3 of the 5 bone spurs on my cervical vertebrae are GONE! I feel fantastic now and would highly recommend Dr. Brent to take care of any of your chiropractic needs! Do not do what I did and wait until you are in pain though, call the FCC in Guelph and make your appointment for an evaluation today. It will be well worth the time. I will be continuing my treatment program and once complete, I will continue to see Dr. Brent for regular maintenance. The best thing for me that came out of 2020 was discovering for myself, Dr. Brent Lipke and the incredible staff at Family Chiropractic Centre in Guelph.

Expérience fantastique: Dr. Brent and all of the other staff are very helpful and friendly. They are flexible with my schedule and good at answering any questions I have. Dr. Brent is very well-educated and also spreads his education to his patients, helping us understand the relation of our spinal subluxations to our health and what can be done to help fix this. He has helped me a ton with my knee and neck pain and made me able to run again without pain.

Every member of the staff is kind, courteous & helpful. The in office process is fast & efficient,yet not rushed. The flexibility to accommodate patients schedules is 2nd to none. I had become very distrustful of chiropractors after 4 negative experiences and yet medical doctors offered nothing outside of a possible pain medication addiction prescribing one drug after another. No thank you. So after extensive research I chose Dr. Brent and he is everything I needed to restore my faith and bring relief to my chronic pain. Restoration & recovery takes time and can be expensive BUT don't let that deter you, he will work with you. It is also the best investment I have made in myself. I'd give 6 stars if I could.

Expérience fantastique: Love this place! Been seeing chiropractors my whole life. It got to the point of me unable to walk - since coming regularly, my pain has been seriously relieved! I love seeing and feeling this progress!! My roommate- he was given a really real review explaining not much could he done for his fused spine... I loved how honest they were and not just trying to push a sale. They go above and Beyond to be flexible and accommodating to all situations. I can't rave enough!!

Expérience fantastique: I was getting three migraines a week. I haven’t had any since my second visit. At the beginning Dr. Brent and his team take x-rays, then you get a short class where he explains what he does and why he does it. After that, he reviews your x-rays with you. All the treatment at the clinic is super friendly and fast. I absolutely recommend this to family and friends, even if they use chiropractic at other clinics. It was nice to be taught what’s actually going on.

Expérience négative: I went here about 4 years ago and they tried making you sit in a classroom setting with other patients to learn before any treatment. It was absolutely bizarre and I never went back. I told the place the story that I currently go to now, and they said a lot of people come from that clinic and say the same thing. I also see someone mentioned about the anti-vaccine beliefs - completely agree. I don't feel comfortable around someone with a doctor title who is supposed to be treating me.

After visiting a physiotherapist, I found the cause. What really frustrated me was they kept pushing to sell me useless products. Another big thing they didn't do was TELL ME that I didn't need to be there and that going to the chiropractor was not it. They kept forcing me to come and wasted so much of my money. Please AVOID this place and don't be fooled by the other reviews. I could rate this place -2/5 if I could

Expérience fantastique: I had a diving accident when I was younger and if it wasn't for chiropractic care I wouldn't be walking today. Dr Brent cares about his patients and I find is very dedicated and keeps up with his knowledge. I trust him with my spine and I'm confident in his work. Expérience négative: I can't comment on the services. I was going to go here as I was given a free consultation card with Dr. Lipke and have been experiencing some back pain. Unfortunately as I was reading his bio on the website, I noticed that him and his wife mention never vaccinating their children. It boggles my mind that someone with 8 years of formal education in science would be this stupid. If you have any education in science at all, you would know that vaccinations are 100% safe and keep communities, not just individuals healthy and thriving. I'm sorry but just cannot trust a person who spits in the face of their field like this.

Expérience négative: It was a very frustrating experience, my son had gone to Dr. Dan and had not been there in a couple years when his back begun to bother him. I expected x-rays and adjustments as treatment but that was not the case, being forced to watch videos on lifestyle and nutrition if I need that I would of went to a nutrionalist. Every time we go to Dr Dan my perception is he is more concerned about selling us products then being a chiropracter. Certainly not a fit for us.

Expérience fantastique: The first time I have met Dr. Brent was 20 years ago. He was freshly out of the school and I had a serious problem with my neck after an accident. After a year of treatment numbness of left side of the body, shoulder pain, neck pain – all were gone. My son had asthma problems. Inhalers and puffers disappeared within a year as well. Two months ago I had a lower back injury, off work, barely could move. Now, I’m walking straight and back at work. Staff and office are friendly and helpful. As her parents, and also previous patients of a chiropractor MANY years ago in Hamilton, we were concerned about her request as our experience was not a positive one. However we needed to try something as our GP could find nothing wrong to "fix". Within the first few months her headaches were reduced to nearly nothing, her limp was only evident when extremely tired and her lower back pain was in control. Expérience fantastique: I met Dr. Brent in 2009 at the Guelph Home Show. I was there with a couple of friends, one of which had major back problems due to a botched surgery. She was very leery and afraid to let anyone near her back again, since now she was in a wheelchair. With some in-depth conversation with Dr. Brent and myself, she let him start to work on her issues. Over the next few years she went from the wheelchair to two canes, then down to 1 cane, and now she is walking without any assistance at all. I started getting treatment for my back pains that had started in high school. After a sit down and learning session, I was on my way to having 30 years of pain taken away. Being a transport mechanic since 1980, I've pinched nerves, had bulging discs, and sciatic nerve problems down both legs, as well as carpel tunnel syndrome in both wrists as well as other nerve problems throughout my body. I was at the point of thinking my career as a mechanic would be no more. I was on my way to my own wheelchair. Then my transformation began. I had told Dr. Brent that under no circumstance would I be turned into a pretzel and jumped on (bad experience in the past.) So patiently he worked on me with his actuator, and with time, I am doing better than I have in many, many years. I'm at the point now that I'm in better shape than most coworkers half my age. I just turned 58. I love my job and don't see retirement in my future. Like maintenance on your vehicle, if you don't take care of it, you'll be sitting on the side of the road. If we don't take care of and maintain our bodies, we will be sitting in wheelchairs watching the world go by. Meeting Dr. Brent and "the family" was one of the best things in my life.
