Expérience fantastique: Dr. Blair and his team are miracle workers and if you are looking for the best chiropractor and massage therapist in Barrie you found it. In 2018 I went to Dr. Blair after suffering from a severe neck issue that was impacting my work. Despite how skeptical I was, I went to see him in desperation and the resulting visit allowed me to move again immediately following. I continued to see him regularly afterwards to prevent any conditions from returning (my jobs and hobbies have always been very labour intensive), and he kept me feeling in tip top physical alignment. After moving outside of Barrie, and eventually to Newfoundland, I have been unable to find a chiropractor to replace him. Durring a recent trip to Toronto, my neck once again had a really bad flare up and after a few days of suffering, before heading home I decided to call Dr. Blair to ask if he was available to see me. Not only did he make room in his schedule for the initial visit, but he extended my appointment so that he could correct as much as possible before I left after a very thorough examination. I ended up spending nearly 2 and half hours at his clinic, because he cared so much. Not only did he fix my neck again, but he fixed a rib which he took the time to explain had "subluxation" (my understanding is it twisted away from my spine), and that was the major underlying issue that has been amounting to so much chronic pain for so long. For years I have been dealing with it just thinking it's life now, and after seeing him and Alyson, I am 1000 times better. Alyson took the time to work her magic on my tense muscles after Dr. Blair corrected my spine. I have never had a massage like hers. She explained that she operates at a "6" on the scale of intensity, and while she was explaining her method I was preparing for the massage to be quite intense. I found it quite enjoyable actually, but the next day it felt like my whole shoulder, neck and arm (that was worked on) was bruised (in a good way) and now I understand why she explains that she is ripping your muscles apart (hahaha) to re correct the fascia. (I sincerely apologize if I am explaining this wrong, it's above my pay grade). But the point is that THEY ARE AMAZING and IRREPLACEABLE and that I have never been to a clinic that cares so whole heartedly about their patients and takes the time to do things right, the way they do. It is worth it for me to fly from Newfoundland and drive from Toronto just to go see them.

He saw me almost every day that I was able to come in, helping by doing adjustments for me but also therapeutic ultrasound on my knees and ankles. He also helped me tremendously with all my paperwork, communication with other practitioners to ensure I am getting the best care, and also helping me through difficulties with the insurance adjuster. Dr Mark’s bedside manner too made going to daily appointments for months straight something to look forward to. It’s been the best relationship I’ve ever had with a practitioner. My only complaint is that I’m moving away to a new town and Dr Mark declined when I asked him to come with me.

Then this past New Years Eve I broke my foot and pulled the tendons in my ankle. I took my son in for his appointment and Dr.Mark saw me and suggested I try Ultrasound therapy on my ankle. NOT touching the break just the tendons, that very appointment he had me fill out the registration forms and within 20mins I had my first appointment. I quickly learned that it is not ideal to pull your back on a Saturday as there are no Chiropractors that work weekends apparently, if only the world worked like that. After a last ditch effort for relief, I contacted Dr Mark BLAIR and he actually was the one who answered the phone, yes on a Saturday. Since this was so rare, I decided to drive 40 mins to reach his clinic and see what, if anything, he could do to help fix my back as walking, getting out of bed and putting my socks on was incredibly painful and difficult. After rehabilitation from a car accident a few years ago stretching and all the recommended advice I was given, the pain was always still there. I was recommended to see Dr Blair buy a good friend of mine. Although I was nervous to see a chiropractor, I am happy I went to see Dr blair. After 4 days my pain is almost completely gone. Dr Blair is very friendly extremely knowledgeable and explains the conditions and recommended treatment.

Expérience fantastique: I highly recommend Chelsea! I just had my first massage with Chelsea Rankine (RMT) and my first impression was that she was very friendly and upbeat. I like therapeutic massages and I am generally pretty picky about who I go to (she is the 3rd RMT I've tried since moving to Barrie). I asked for a firm massage and she did a great job of balancing firm with relaxing. Something else that stood out was she was very intuitive in finding and working the areas that were tense and sore. It didn’t seem like just the standard routine (that she would do on everyone). She spent a lot more time on the areas I needed it but managed the time well and didn’t rush through the other areas following through with a full body massage.
