Expérience négative: They had a check-up promotion for $37, which I signed up for. It was a quick check-up and at the end of the session you are being scheduled for immediate treatment and they say you can have your X-Ray discussed on that next session which is not even covered by any insurance, as they do not direct bill. First of all, if I am paying for check-up, I expect my results discussed immediately not on another paid treatment session. I am not obliged to continue treatment with them but they make it sound like you have to. Promotional packages CAN BE a way to attract more customers, but NOT HAVE TO DO SO. I emailed them requesting my results and still waiting, they keep sending weird forms for X-Ray release, which includes my signature, some witness signature and so on… Very disappointed, I have not get any value from this package.

For months I had been dealing with unbearable pain in my hips, lower back, and thighs, along with shooting pain that ran down my right leg into my foot. Sleeping was almost impossible because I could not get comfortable on any side. I was honestly feeling hopeless. Then I saw an offer from Elevate Chiropractic on Facebook for $37 and figured I had nothing to lose. As it turned out, the practitioner who treated me was Dr. Blaine Gushaty, someone I had seen years ago and thought had closed his practice. What a pleasant surprise. From the moment I walked in, the experience was professional and thorough. They did a detailed scan of my back and showed me exactly where my nerves were being trapped. They also took X-rays and created a personalized plan for me. Dr. Gushaty is incredibly personable and explains everything he is doing so you feel at ease. I went in with pain at a 9 out of 10 if ten means being bedridden and left at about a 5 out of 10 after just one session. For the first time in months, I finally slept through the night. I still have a ways to go but for the first time in a long time, I feel hopeful. If you are struggling with chronic pain, Elevate Chiropractic is absolutely worth checking out.

It is well worth our drive from far end of the NW Calgary.

With coverage from 2 different companies that would entail submitting about 30 claims annually and spending countless hours processing claims, only to wait for the money I already had to pay. Customer service should be a bigger priority.

Expérience négative: I had been searching for a chiropractor for a few years and decided to try Elevate Chiro based on their new and clean facilities and convenient location. Booking an appointment was relatively easy, and I went in for the standard initial assessment. After the assessment with his support staff that took around 30 minutes, Dr. Lyons briefly met with me. However, instead of focusing on my specific needs or providing reassurance, he spent about two minutes delivering what felt like a rushed sales pitch for chiropractic care. I already believed in the benefits of chiropractic treatment and simply wanted to feel confident in my care. Unfortunately, when I asked questions, his responses made me feel as though I was wasting his time. I decided to give it another shot and booked a second appointment. During that visit, I spent very little time with Dr. Lyons again—just a couple of minutes—and most of my session was with support staff using machines (I don’t recall the exact names). The whole experience felt impersonal and mechanical, as though I was being processed through a system. What really upset me was when I was told I needed to watch a video as part of my treatment plan, which would be billed as a chiropractic visit to my insurance. This didn’t sit well with me. After reflecting on the experience, I decided not to book another appointment. I informed the staff, letting them know I’d reach out if I wanted to continue care. What followed is why I'm writing this review, in hopes the clinic learns from its mistakes.... Then the calls from Elevate Chiro started. Over the course of a week, I received ten calls from various staff members. It became so invasive that I had to block their number. To make matters worse, Dr. Lyons called me from a different local Calgary number during dinner one evening, after his team couldn’t get ahold of me. This crossed the line into harassment and solidified my decision to never return. In summary, this may be an exciting place for those new to chiropractic care, but for those with prior experience and high standards, I’d advise caution. The entire experience felt like a high-pressure sales gimmick rather than patient-focused care.

Expérience fantastique: I had developed a very painful case of sciatica that was so bad I was on short term disability from work. I wasn’t really seeing any progress from the physiotherapist I was going to so I needed another avenue to try and get this issue resolved. I had seen a social media ad for Elevate Chiro that mentioned that they will do an X-ray on site during my evaluation. I thought this would be a perfect opportunity to see what was going on with my spine without going to several other doctors or appointments. Turns out that was a good call because Dr. Blaine was able to determine exactly what was going on with my back and set up a treatment plan to correct my Sciatic pain as well as explain the significance of taking care of your spine which is basically your central nervous system. Within my second appointment I began to see improvements with my sciatica. I’ve never been to a chiropractor before but am very glad I chose this particular one. Hannah is the office coordinator and has been flawless in setting up my appointments and getting me my receipts to claim for insurance. This is a very organized office that runs efficiently and on time unlike other doctors offices.

Expérience fantastique: Currently receiving treatment for TMJ issues I have been suffering with the past 20 years. Initially I went to this clinic based on the low entry cost for a first time visit. However, the service I've been receiving is nothing short of invaluable. In a short time I have already begun to see improvements in my entire constitution. The pain will take awhile to be fully relieved, but I've seen a great reduction in my acid reflux and anxiety levels. I highly recommend Elevate Chiro and the team there.

I'm a healthcare worker, mom of two and someone who has lived pretty much my entire life with chronic illness. Before finding this clinic, I was in so much chronic pain I was struggling to get through my work day, my lifestyle was badly affected, and my time with my family was also negatively affected: Dr Lyons did x-rays, set a plan with chiropractic adjustments, home exercises, and more in order to make strides moving forwards. I still have a ways to go, but I'm already noticing changes, and I'm excited for what more progress will be made. My kids and hubby will also be going here, and I know they will all be in good hands. There's so much more, but I'll end this review with one last comment: I highly recommend!

From manager Carly to the doctors specifically Dr. Devon Lyons , they all know how to make you remarkably comfortable. Quoting him, Dr Lyons, ‘this is what we do, to straighten the spinal cord that is causing havoc in your life”. Well what do I have to lose but a few change and gain my physical health back. I was amazed how easily they tabled my problem, constant pain in and below the waist. My excessive work over the decades using bad postures is one of the reasons for this. Is the problem genetic, not really. Seeing my pin point X ray on the big screen, I can easily imagine why all the pull and pain in my nerves is coming from and my bending posture. I have visited my home doctor several times without a clear picture of what is going. I wish I had visited the elevate chiropractor clinic years ago in my hay days but it’s better late than never. At least there is Hope for better days ahead.

Considering I’m pregnancy and new to the city, I had to choose carefully in my own opinion who could adjust me. The facility is clean, large and very comfortable. Regular chiropractic offices I’ve been in are just rooms where this one is focused on getting your muscles warmed up, a whole posture area and beyond. It’s actually jaw dropping. I left feeling knowledgeable on why my back pain was causing so many issues and had a road map of how to manage it during my pregnancy. The adjustment was swift and easy and left me feeling much more relieved and relaxed! I can’t wait to continue my journey as a patient here and feel like I have found my new chiropractic home in Calgary!

Expérience fantastique: What a great team Dr Devon has put together. I have worked with and been treated by literally dozens of chiropractors and I appreciate how thorough they are here. I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and since starting working with Dr Devon, my symptoms have improved. I was also in a car accident where a dump truck slammed into my sedan and I genuinely think that the care I'm getting here is important to my recovery.

Expérience positive: I only say 3 because it's like 50/50 for me. So, I brought my son (who's on a VERY tight budget being a single Dad) to them, I found them online with the offer of $35 for 1st time patient visit. They DID say examination, x-rays, and a report of the findings would be given that visit. They DID NOT say it would cost extra ($95 total) for the same visit because of an adjustment until he was at the till. NOR did they give him the report of the examination and xrays. Apparently, "They will next visit." Well, maybe my son would like to know Before the next visit like it says in the ad. I just felt like he was forced to come back in order to get the report... which is not right. Other than that, it was a good visit and the Dr did great.

Expérience fantastique: These guys are great and the team is awesome, I've had frequent back issues for many years due to bad vehicle accidents and years of abuse and neglect as a tradesperson. They work on instant and prolonged relief by finding the root cause of the problems and work on rehabilitation. Highly recommended!

Expérience négative: There are MUCH better chiropractors out there. This guy has a huge ego problem and is extremely irritating and off putting to be around. He is insecure has inappropriate bedside manner. While this dr may be somewhat knowledgeable, he has new patients meet as a group to discuss why everyone needs to see a chiropractor. This was very uncomfortable and did not seem genuine to individual needs. Then a payment plan is brought up that you almost feel pressured into, with also a home package being sold to you. If you decline the payment option you are questioned and forced into giving a reason why. A dr who wants to help should be more concerned about the patient and not how they are getting paid. The entire visit is very preachy and sales driven. A dr should never have clients meet as a group - very unprofessional. There are much better chiro's in the city.

With Dr. Lyons being up front and to the point, I feel there is hope in getting me back to normal again. We have made a game plan to get me back on track, and he has equipped me to do some home exercises to speed up the healing process.
