Expérience fantastique: I had a shoulder injury due to the accidental fall and I was in pain for quite long time. I heard about laser therapy and I decided to try the treatment. And it worked, after so many months living in such a discomfort finely I was able to use my arm the way I supposed to. And then I had a problem with my foot ( plantar fasciitis ) I tried home remedies but, didn’t help. I went back to Alberta Lazer Therapy took few sessions and I can finally walk and the pain is gone Jackie and her team are amazing and very knowledgeable. My husband used their service as well my 84 year old mom and they both are pleased with the results I highly recommend ALT because the stuff is very friendly, like I said before knowledgeable, professional and truly amazing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Expérience fantastique: If I could give ALRC 10 or even more ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️s it would not be enough.. from the welcoming calming atmosphere in the clinic to the exceptional professional caring knowledgeable staff, everything is TOPNOTCH! They are conviently located close to the C train and there is ample parking. As one of the “regulars”, I came in 18 years ago, looking for a safe effective treatment option for carpal tunnel syndrome and over the years have been treated for several other issues. The maintenance laser treatments and Amphy especially are my saviours, they have helped keep me moving without pain. I highly recommend and am grateful for the beautiful ladies of ALRC.

Expérience fantastique: I decided to give Cold Laser Therapy a try on my rotator cuff on which I had full-tissue and partial-tissue tears. Over the years I have tried ointments and cortisone shots which only provided short term relief. Surgery was not an option due to my advanced age. I had 13 cold laser treatments over a 7 week period. I was very pleased with the improvement in shoulder mobility and pain relief. I was also very impressed with my physio therapist, Mikaela. She proved to be very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable and went out of her way to address my shoulder issues.

Expérience fantastique: 5 months after being in a Motor Vehicle Accident and having very little success with traditional physiotherapy; desperate for solutions to manage my pain, a friend told me about Alberta Laser Rehabilitation Centre. I can honestly say that after my 1st session and to my surprise I realized something was different - for the better. After 9 sessions for my back and about 5 for my neck/shoulder, I can say that the pain relief was about 80% for the back and 60% for the neck. I had to interrupt treatment due to travel. The cherry on the top was to make the acquaintance of Jackie, my physiotherapist, and Celia, the joy-filled receptionist. When you have pain, it really helps to know that you are in a friendly and caring environment. Thank you Alberta Laser Rehab Centre for helping me with my mobility and pain levels. Expérience fantastique: After unsuccessful treatment for a wrist tendon tear elsewhere, I went to Alberta Laser Rehab as recommended to me by a friend. After the assessment and the recommended number of treatments, the laser therapy aided the healing process. In addition, I ended up with stretched tendons in one of my ankles and again, they got me walking without a limp again. Expérience fantastique: I injured my hand at work back in February. I decided to go to Alberta Laser Rehab to speed up the wound healing process. All I can say is wow! After 5 sessions my hand was almost fully healed. I also suffer from bad arthritis in my thumb and it's also significantly reduced my pain for that as well. Expérience fantastique: After struggling with migraines for years, in 2019 I decided to give laser therapy a try after hearing it helps with migraines. I went from having migraines every day for weeks at a time to going for months WITHOUT a migraine! All the ladies in there treated me with outstanding care, very knowledgeable and helped me understand what was happening with my body whenever I had questions! I highly recommend if you're struggling with migraines or any pain!!

Expérience fantastique: I was having major issues with my left arm from playing too much golf!! I love golf!❤️ The pain was radiating up and down my arm and causing me discomfort and pain to the point where I was unable to play. I finally realized I needed to get it looked at. The staff at ALRC were amazing. I’d never done laser therapy before but was quick to realize how effective it was! In very short order I was back on the links playing again without pain. Thanks to Kathleen at reception and to Marian and Jackie who took such good care of me. But also to Amphy who is very knowledgeable and professional. I trust her immensely. I highly recommend this clinic.

Expérience négative: The fist tenet of medical care is "do no harm". After a 4th treatment for sciatic pain I had severe pain for 4 days, so severe I was unable to eat. So on my day 5 appointment I recounted the effects of the previous treatment and was simply told that some people are more sensitive to the laser than others... and so she decided to continue the treatment at the same intensity. Well it is 35 days later and I am still in pain. As a retired medical professional, I can confidently state that in conducting treatment for any condition the standard of care is to treat, observe, evaluate the results and modify the treatment, if deemed necessary. Well, when she said she would use the same intensity as the previous treatment, I said I hoped I would not experience such pain again. She reassured me. So either she did not really listen to my experience with the previous treatment or decided it was okay. Either way, it cost me in pain, missing the holidays entirely as I was bed ridden, and paying for advanced acupuncture techniques so I could at least begin to move my leg again. Initially, I had asked for Amphy (her bio clearly shows she is the most experienced) but was told that all 3 women would be looking after me anyway. Not true. Bottom line: I wish I had never stepped foot in their clinic. Also, laser therapy (according to my further research) is not that effective for sciatic pain. Advice: Do not be as nice as I was. If you have a treatment that leaves you in severe pain, refuse another at the same intensity ... or walk out.

Expérience fantastique: I have had Relapsing Remitting MS for 8 years. Last year, I was having difficulty walking, and considering using a cane. A dear family member suggested I try infrared treatment, and directed me to Alberta Laser. I started treatments early December 2019. After the first treatment, my walking was completely normalized! With maintenance, I have been able to continue walking well. I was directed to getting osteopath treatments as I had other issues that infrared does not address. I started osteo treatments mid-January. Again, my results were dramatic. I had the MS brain fog, some reduced sensation In one hand, digestion issues, and a multitude of other issues. All my issues, and underlying ones as well, have been dealt with, and fixed! With monthly appointments, I have been able to enjoy a much more active, and fulfilling life! I cannot express how thankful I am for the amazing, gentle care I have received from Amphy, Mirian, Jackie, and Kathleen. ❤️

Expérience fantastique: Pain free for the first time in 4 years!!!! I had a workout injury that left me with a disc in my neck being compressed and hitting my spinal cord at C5/C6(cervical spinal stenosis, early flattening of cord). This caused the most intense muscle spams on a monthly bases if not more, 24/7 inflammation down my neck/shoulders and back and limited range of motion. Living with chronic pain for 4 years was physically and mentally exhausting. I tried everything!! Physio, Chrio, massage, acupuncture, dry needling, then went to a spinal clinic and received, facet joint injections in my nerves in my neck, trigger point injections, botox injections and NOTHING was working or helping reduce the pain and burning. Not to mention the amounts of prescription drugs I took on a daily bases. Everything felt like a bandaid and was not giving me relief. Being in my early 30s and having the Drs say this is the best we can do, get needles every few months and take a bunch of meds daily forever and still be in pain - it was not what I wanted to hear. I kept pushing and researching, that’s when I found Alberta Laser Rehabilitation and it literally changed my life!!!! After 13 treatments I am pain free and off all meds!!! No more burning aches or pains and no muscle spasms. The staff are all so sweet and knowledgeable. Trust the process, it takes time to heal, but stick with the program and you will see changes. Thank you again for giving me such a gift of not being in pain. I can finally rebuild my muscles and get back to living a great active and healthy life with a smile!!

Expérience fantastique: Few months ago, I had excruciating pain on my big toe and wrist. I did x-ray and ultrasound revealing absence of Gout Arthritis. The doctor said that it was probably inflammation due to overuse from a lot of standing and working in the kitchen for long hours. She initially prescribed pain reliever because the pain was really giving me discomfort at work. I did several sessions of laser therapy and I felt significant improvement on my condition. I was able to stop taking pain reliever and there were no more exacerbation of symptoms. At present, I am back to my normal pace at work. Thank you very much ALRC.

Expérience négative: My experience wasnt very good unfortunately. There was a bit of a disconnect with the TREATMENT plan explanation and actual treatment. When i attempted to discuss with a PT about actually getting PHYSICAL THERAPY in addition to the LASER TREATMENT the PT on duty was insulted and offended at my inquiry into my treatment. I attempted to contact someone to discuss my sense that after 5 treatments i wasnt seeing any change. (jaw pain from HEAD TRAUMA) No response whatsoever from LEAD. Didnt work for my needs. PT indicated there would be NO actual PT treatment in addition to Laser TREATMENT. I would stick with traditional modalities. I went back to Physical Therapist for treatment with actual hands-on treatment.

Expérience fantastique: I am beyond grateful for the care and treatment I have received from the ladies at Alberta Laser Rehabilitation Center. I have suffered with nerve pain in both my feet for almost 16 years. My feet seemed to have no thermometer. I couldn’t tell if they were cold until they were freezing and alternately couldn’t tell if they were hot until they were too hot, would swell up, blister and then the nails would pop off. It wasn’t uncommon for me to have white, red, purple and blue toes at the same time and even 4 colours on one toe Throughout that time, I tried every possible treatment both conventional and natural, seeing specialists throughout the spectrum. I’ve even tried hyperbaric treatments. Each time I would improve to a point and then plateau. The best diagnosis I was given was RSD (Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy) I did try laser treatments at a different place about 10 years ago. When I started, I was walking on crutches, and when I finished I was able to walk on my own, but I seemed to plateau, so quit at that time. This fall I was seriously considering cutting both my feet off when a friend who had recently taken laser treatments for her knee convinced me to try it again. With the first 8 laser treatments, my feet hurt worse than ever, but I kept thinking ‘it has to get worse before it gets better’. Then for my 9th treatment I had Manual Osteopathy from Amphy and even though she found every tender spot, I was immediately able to”use my hinges” and roll my feet to walk (bend the ball of my foot) which I hadn’t been able to do for years. The next morning was the first time I didn’t have that tense searing nerve pain with every step and I felt lighter and brighter than I had for years. Having these non invasive treatments have literally saved my feet and I can not recommend these ladies with their training, compassion and talents enough. I am just hoping that this is the reset my body needed and that it will continue. It truly is miraculous! Never give up looking for solutions to your health problems.

I have been suffering with back pain and was having multiple back spasms a month. I was not able to do any activities and I was missing work because of ongoing back spasms that prevented me from even being able to get out of bed that would last 24-48 hours. My family doctor did not offer much for suggestions and I desperate for help (I am under 30.. not ok!!!!) The ladies at Alberta Laser Rehabilitation Center were so compassionate and took time to understand my concerns. I am now six months spasm free and I have been pain free for months. I have not been pain free in about ten years!! I am so grateful for these ladies! Because of them I have my life back!

Took the time to listen to me during every visit and to explain to me the treatment and aftercare. While my recovery is slow, painful and not complete yet, I do believe that laser treatments and exercises helped speed it up. Expérience fantastique: I call this place my ONE STOP SHOP! There is so much knowledge at this clinic, with people being trained in multiple areas that all work as a team. There is a physiotherapist on staff, Osteopath and RMT. I first came to this clinic after the birth of my first baby. My lower back was always inflamed, in pain, or out of alignment prior to the birth of my baby since a MVA in 2011- and it was worse after the birth of my baby. This laser therapy was the only thing that really healed my back. I have tried it all - conventional physiotherapy, massage, chiropractic, prolotherapy, etc. I had forgotten what it felt like to be pain free. I have recently returned to the clinic after the birth of my second baby, again - the birth process really took a toll on my back. My baby is now 5 months old and my back feels so much better and I am on the road to recovery. This time around, I have also been seeing Amphy, the Osteopath and it has made a world of difference in getting my body back to normal after pregnancy. It really has been a much needed reset for my body. They really care about their patients and are invested in your recovery. I have no hesitations recommending this clinic!

Expérience fantastique: I started treatment at ALRC, in March 2019 after I severely herniated my L4/L5 disc in Dec 2018. When I started my treatments, I was hunched over almost 90 degrees and with a pretty bad left lateral shift. I had sciatica, numb toes, pain in my ankle.. After 8 sessions of laser therapy I’m standing up straight and almost 100% back to normal. After only 2 sessions my pain was greatly reduced. Each session I feel better than the time before. Expérience fantastique: I had suffered for many years, due to torn tendons in my right shoulder. Doctors offered shots and meds which I did not accept. But working and daily life was getting to be a real challange. I was leary, to be honest mainly because it is costly, but decided I had to try this as I felt it would be a better alternative to meds. To be honest, I felt relief after the first treatment. I had several treatments and feel they really gave me back my peace of mind. Constant pain can be so exhausting. Expérience fantastique: I had back surgery to remove a herniated disk along with 2 bulged discs on my lower back over 20 years ago. Over the years the chronic pain creeped back and was in pain EVERY single day. I tried EVERYTHING to help. Many prescriptions, massage therapy, chiropractic, cortisone injections in the spine, physiotherapy, acupuncture and recently was a patient at the chronic pain clinic. I just thought that was my life...pain. I’m an avid golfer and my doctor told me that I was going to have to give it up and change my sport. It then I found Alberta Laser Rehab and thought this was my last hope. Well it was my last hope...I can say I live almost EVERY single day PAIN FREE. Yes PAIN FREE. Yes there are days where I’ve over done it and I feel it in my back but it’s gone the next day. I was able to golf 18 holes every round I played this year - the year prior not even 9 holes without having to quit. Do yourself a favor and call Amphy and her staff. You won’t be sorry. I do have to say though - hang in there till the complete end of the recommended treatment. Expérience fantastique: These folks know their stuff. I came disabled with chronic osteoarthritis in both knees, and at age 54 I was looking at stopping even my modified work, as the pain was too great to even stand for 10 minutes, or walk for 20. After a series of treatments over two months I am pain free, and only have some soreness in it's place! My modified work is perfectly fine, and I am planning personal trips and modest excursions once again. I have always been very active, so my life is revived, BETTER THAN KNEE REPLACEMENTS!! They have done over 45,000 laser treatments here, and really administer them knowledgeably, with kindness and excellent advice. I did do regular swimming along with the lasers, and a daily home physio program that gradually increased as the pain reduced. Now I am on maintenance monthly sessions as the condition was chronic degenerative. Monthly sessions is like nothing! I have spent less here than the chair lift I was planning to install, let alone the scooter as soon as possible after that...the need for both is now totally history. God bless these good people. Take their advice and be patient and you will reap incredible rewards!

Expérience positive: I had broken my collar bone for 4th the time. After one month it hadn’t healed much and still hurt. I started laser therapy 2-3 times a week. After a month, no more pain and I could go about my daily activities with no problem. I believe the therapy helped speed my healing and helped with any pain. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. All of them were fantastic!! I would recommend trying laser if you have any pain, Next time I hurt myself, I will definitely go back to Alberta Laser Rehabilitation Centre. Expérience fantastique: I was so lucky to find Alberta Lazer rehab !! It has significantly changed my life and my children's lives. All the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly.They go above and beyond to help with any body aches, pains etc.The Lazer has helped me with my wrists, knees and bursitis in my shoulder. My daughter was having hip pain and was quickly relieved at the clinic. My son had broken his arm so the Lazer helped him heal quicker than normal and he was back playing hockey quicker than if he did not have the Lazer. He also had the Lazer done on his knee and ankle .
