With my first appointment with Dr. Pearl, she completed changed how I viewed my injury and gave me simple and effective exercises to target the root cause instead to mild symptom relief. In less than a month I noticed significantly less pain, progressed in my strength and flexibility, and a new insight on my body and how to further recover from the injury post treatment. Dr. Pearl approaches treatment with a Physiotherapist perspective, which changes the game completely. We are all used to other Chiropractors that just crack your back and send you home. Dr. Remi is far from that. She assesses you in a very detailed manner, provides manual therapy if needed, and gives exercises that are for YOU so recovery can be efficient. After immediately experiencing sciatica I sought out Dr. Remi Pearl for chiropractic care, and also began seeing Emily Valko shortly after for physiotherapy. Both Remi and Emily are professionals in their own right, extremely knowledgeable in sports therapy, attentive, kind, and compassionate. Once they go through a series of questions to document and understand the relevant history behind your injury they'll prescribe a treatment plan, explain and demonstrate exercises as needed, and make adjustments to guide you as you progress through your recovery. I'll also mention that they're extremely personable; I don't think I've laughed as much with any other health care professionals. Expérience fantastique: Having never been to a chiropractor before I had no idea what to expect at Pearl Peak Performance. Dr Remi and I had an initial chat about what the symptoms were from my lower back pain and what the actual source was that was causing my pain. Dr Remi gave me a physical exam which proved her theory about what was causing my pain and not what i had assumed it to be. I was started off with a new stretching and exercises routine as well as needling to begin my treatment and recovery as well advised which proper backpack that i would need. Two follow up visits which included added exercises as well as needling and i was on the road to recovery. Actually heading back today to begin treatment on another an older injury that never healed properly but i know with a proper diagnosis and treatment by Dr Remi I will be on the road to recovery soon enough.
