It’s one thing to find someone who is exceptional at what they do, but it’s another to find someone who combines that level of expertise with outstanding customer service, genuine friendliness, and incredible flexibility. Joanne truly goes above and beyond. She makes you feel welcome, valued, and taken care of, and her dedication to her clients really sets her apart. It’s rare to find someone who excels so much at both their craft and the overall client experience. I cannot recommend Joanne and Essential Chiropractic highly enough. If you’re looking for someone who is not only amazing at what she does but also genuinely cares about her clients, Joanne is the person to see! She is an absolute gem, and I’m so happy I found her! Joanne recommended Samantha… the Massage therapist at their location. One of the best massages I’ve ever had! I’ve had plenty of massages over the years, but this one really stood out. She took the time to listen to me, understand what I needed, and tailor the massage to exactly that. Her strength is amazing, and she knows how to work through those tight, tense areas. I left feeling like I finally got the treatment my body needed. You can tell she genuinely listens and cares about her clients. I would highly recommend her and will definitely be back!

Fantastic experience: I was very pleased that Dr Foley could access my lumbar spine x-rays and I’ve never had them explained to me in such detail before. I’m more than thankful that she requested a CT scan for me. It indicates I have spinal stenosis but at least now I finally know the reason for my sciatica pain. I can’t thank her enough for all her help. I’ve had several treatments and now I’m doing some exercises to help relieve my sciatica pain. I would definitely recommend Dr Foley for chiropractic treatment. She’s the best!

Fantastic experience: We are from BC visiting in St. John's when my husband's back and sciatica flair up. He was in such pain and could barely walk. We found Essential Chropractic and Dr. Foley hoping she could get my husband walking again. What a wonderful, friendly and helpful Dr. and staff. They were so kind to get my husband in the next day and subsequent visitsin the first week. After the first appointment Conrad was standing up straighter and although there is more work to be done, he was really appreciative of the kind and professionalism of Dr. Foley. We would recommend her to anyone with chiropractic issues. Her and the staff make you feel like you're part of the family.

Negative experience: I was quite hopeful for pain relief after reading all of the good reviews; however, after 6 months of regular treatment unfortunately there hasn't been any noticeable improvement in my low back pain.

Fantastic experience: Dr Joanne Foley has been my chiropractor since approximately 2008 and gave me back my health in terms of living pain free again. After experiencing a herniated disc injury, so many years ago and almost never being able to sit, stand or function independently for very long, it was Dr Foley who treated my back pain issues and worked with me to regain what I had lost. Since giving me back my health, I have learned to maintain my chiropractic treatments for overall wellness and have never thought about going anywhere else. Her professionalism, honesty, great work ethic, work hour flexibility, integrity, down to earth personality, incredible staff (Beverly you know I had to mention you too, Andrea we still miss you too) and forthcoming pleasant nature, not to mention punctuality has been the primary reasons I won’t trust anyone else with my back. Thank you Dr Foley for all you do. You are simply amazing. If people are looking for an incredible chiropractor, Essential Chiropractic is the place to go. PS they even text you appointment reminders, have prompt follow up, and call immediately if any changes occur. I won’t forget to mention that there are times I’ve had to cancel last minute due to work etc... and they have been nothing but incredible accommodating every single time. In this day and age THAT is incredible customer service!!!!

Negative experience: After my appointment was cancelled due to weather, I had to reschedule. I work 2 jobs so scheduling is tough for me, but the receptionist found a time that I could come, which was today . She told me to arrive early because I needed to fill.out paperwork. So after rushing over there to be early for my appointment, I was told I dont have an appointment there or one in the future. It is not something I would forget because my neck has been bothering me for ages and i desperately want it sorted out. Will be going elsewhere
