Fantastic experience: I have a usual RMT I go to in another city, but woke up in immense amounts of pain (due to a multitude of chronic problems I have), and was able to get an appt with Tuan this evening. I walked away feeling about 20% of the pain I walked in with, and I really couldn't be happier and more pleased with Tuan's thorough and effective massage. I will be seeing him again as this clinic is around the corner from my house, and the immediate difference I feel in my pain feels nothing short of a miracle. The receptionist was also very pleasant, friendly and professional. For a first time experience from someone who has needed ongoing physio and massage for many years, this was top tier! Thank you!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Alexey Mashentsev is an absolute professional with an incredible personality that allows the patient to be both comfortable and informed. I woke up one morning with extreme hip and lower back pain that made it very difficult to move. I had difficulty trying to get an appointment with my regular chiropractor, so I wa forced to search around to get an appointment ASAP. I was able to book an appointment with Dr. Mashantsev the next day and I was not sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised with his welcoming and professional demeanor. He took the time to discuss my personal health history before we began any form of treatment. Then as we went through the treatment, he explained each step so that I would understand the purpose and goal of them. He did the typical chiropractic adjustments in addition to going through specific exercises that I should do daily. Knowing that I would likely forget the details, he printed the specifics out for me as a reminder. After two appointments, my back felt like new again but I decided to let him know of another serious concern that I had. During one of my soccer games, I ran into another player and jammed my middle finger. Having my finger in a splint for nearly 5 weeks, then x-rays came back negative, but I had severe pain and limited movement. I told him that my back was feeling fine but know my middle finger needed to be looked after, he adjusted quickly and took time to work on my finger while still paying attention to my back. Each session that we have had so far has been spent addressing both issues even though I though my back was fine. He knew that backs issues can come back so he took the time to work with me to continue my exercises to ensure that the back issue does not come back. I am beyond glad that I took a chance and was able to be treated by Dr. Mashentsev. I will continue my appointments with him for multiple reasons. 1. I do not feel rushed. 2. He does not just move on to the next issue, but continues to look after the initial problem that I had with my back while treated the new finger issue. 3. Providing me with printed out exercise plan really helped me follow through with my responsibilities as a patient. 4. May not be directly related to patient care, but having conversations about general things happening in our lives made it feel more than just a medical appointement. This kind of interpersonal skill allowed me to feel more comfortable and cared for as his patient.

Negative experience: I’ve come to Milton Back Doc over several years. I may not go as frequent as I should, however it’s usually my go to location. My previous visit was disappointing. Though I know these are not sound proof walls, the noise in the reception area and hallway was loud, distracting and took away from the experience. It was lots of laughter and chatter amongst staff members for a solid 45 minutes. You could hear everything. I’m all for great conversation especially with your peers, however there was no consideration for those in a session. During most visits, you can certainly hear chatter, which is fine. This however was non stop and as mentioned, loud, distracting and took away from the experience. After being brought to my room, the RMT left for me to be able to undress, however the blinds for the window facing the children’s school, was left drawn. I tried to pull them down but a rod had fallen instead. I had to tuck into the corner of the room and then race to the bed in hopes I was not seen nude! The RMT returned to the room and saw the rod had fallen, to which I said “I tried to pull down the blinds”. He fixed the rod, but left the blinds up for almost the whole session until I moved into my back for the remaining 10 of the 60 minutes. In addition to the constant hallway noise, the bright lit room took away from the relaxing experience. Lastly, I had booked online with one RMT and received a different one. The portal must have been glitching!? But that was a surprise to show up to and was way out of my comfort zone. I explained that I had booked with Erika, but was told she was not in. I’m not sure how this error happened. I stayed because I was in need of this RMT session. I’ll look elsewhere for a more positive experience.

Fantastic experience: I've had some serious back pain for a few months. After a few sessions with Tuan im back to almost 100% mobility. Fully recommend seeing this guy if you're in pain like I was.

Negative experience: not sure if it was supposed to go like this, in my past experiences, during the part where i have to flip, the masseuse usually goes to the side of the bed lifting the sheet for me to flip, the masseuse is unable to see what's under the sheet this way. This was the first time ive had a masseuse stand behind my shoulders and lift the blanket directly up putting themselves in Direct view of my full naked body, i'm not sure if this is how it goes sometimes, i feel it would be better to just lift it from the side forming a little tent, and turn your head away, that way the person getting the massage can see they are not being exposed. Atleast that is all i have experienced and from a quick google search, tells me—“No, a massage therapist should not lift the sheet directly up to expose the client's entire body when having them flip over. Proper draping techniques involve only exposing the area being worked on at any given time, maintaining the client's privacy and comfort. The therapist should use a method like "tenting"— not sure what happened here

Fantastic experience: I have had an extremely positive experience at the Milton back doc. The front desk staff is phenomenal. Booking is easy and don’t worry about a thing with automatic benefits. Ritika is my physiotherapist and I highly recommend her. She knows what she is doing and she is very good at what she does. She has been one of the best health care professionals I’ve ever had (as an ex-triathlete I have had many). Thank you ritika for giving me so much hope when I needed it.

After getting few sessions, I started to notice a difference on my back. I never imagined seeing a chiropractor would help me the way it did. I came to him with a "mystery injury" that none of the other MANY practitioners I'd seen had properly diagnosed. Through careful attention and unique diagnostics, Myles identified a missing link that no one else had seen. I still have a long way left to go, but I have great confidence in Myles and would recommend him to anyone looking for a kind, attentive, and expert chiropractor!

Fantastic experience: I don't even know where to start! I guess let's say Dr. Kandice Kissoondath changed my life. I finally came in after 10+ years of debilitating wrist pain, and now it is gone. She used many different techniques with me to have the most desired outcome including acupuncture, floss wrap, spring board, and what I like to call the brass knuckles. Not only is she nice and completely easy to talk to but she explains everything throughly. Every staff member that I have come in contact with has be so nice and helpful. Thank you so much for everything you have done for me !! I will always go to Dr. Kissoondath, I suggest you do too.

Fantastic experience: I've been going here for a year or more now. I have to compliment Kushboo, she's always so joyful and well versed in chiropractics. 10/10 would recommend, except I ALREADY do, because she's amazing.

Negative experience: Disappointed with this place. Had great hopes after reading great reviews. Maybe I should have stuck with the most recommended RMTs. Visited on Monday, Jan 23 at 6. RMT probably wanted to leave early or was tired. Spoke to me about the health and my concerns. It was an hour long appointment, but we spent almost 15 mins in the hour. He asked me to lie down to start the massage. First I thought he was assessing the muscle stiffness, issues, but he continued to very lightly move his fingers without much pressure at all. This must have continued for almost another 15 mins. I mentioned it to him that I can take a little more pressure and he started using his elbow. It still was a bit more than his fingers but nothing that would make someone feel they are getting a massage. He then tapped me and said we are done here. I looked at the clock and ws sure I booked the appointment for an hour and not 45 mins. When I asked about it, he said that he doesn't like his patients lying in one position and he wanted to provide a few more exercises (well I didn't ask for it since I'm separately doing physio for those which I mentioned in my initial 15 mins). He still went ahead and gave me the exercises which were... Meh! What a waste of an hour and $115!‍♂️ Wouldn't recommend this place. Wish I could get my money back!

Fantastic experience: After the misfortune of being T-boned in a car accident many years ago, I started experiencing various symptoms which got worse over the years. I sought treatment, including chiropractor, massage therapy and physiotherapy. None of which made much of a difference. I resolved to live a life of pain and dysfunction. Several years later, I was involved in another car accident where I was rear ended. Some of my symptoms were exacerbated, and I developed new ones. I was recommended to start massage therapy, physiotherapy again. I met Seanna, and after a couple of treatments, I realized I was already improving. With continued therapy, I gained back a lot of mobility that I had lost, and my pain has decreased significantly. She felt I would also benefit from chiropractic treatment from Dr. Vora, which I sought. With the two therapies, I have made strides I never thought possible. Between the massage therapy with Seanna and the chiropractic treatment with Dr. Vora (which includes soft tissue treatment, adjustments, and acupuncture), my pain is at the lowest it has been since pre-accidents; and I have range of movement and mobility that I never thought I would see again. And my treatment plan is not yet complete. They basically gave me my life back and I can’t say enough. They are compassionate, thorough, knowledgeable, and so dedicated to recovery. A very proactive approach to treatment which I had not experienced before. Thank you both, and Erika/Milton BackDoc, for providing me with a lovely, safe place to go for treatment with the most amazing staff.

I think what I respect the most about this clinic is that they are not pushy and trying to commit you to frequent visits which Ive always viewed as self serving. They offer alternatives such as home exercises and tips on getting around mobility issues and are mindful of your budget and/or health benefits. I also really appreciate that they do direct billing and submit it on the spot which means Im not having to remember to submit my own receipts and keep track of the reimbursement. This is an honest, dedicated and professional Clinic which I would recommend to anyone needing to find a new Chiropractor, Registered Massage Therapist or Acupuncturist.

Fantastic experience: This place is the best. Hands down the best chiropractic office. I injured my back and Dr. Cindy Lewis (Chiro) and Jason Verbruggen (RMT) have SIGNIFICANTLY increased my range of motion and decreased my pain. On my very first session, Cindy assessed my back, and started doing stretches with my legs. I was confused as it was my back that was hurting, but I trusted her based on her reviews. I stood up and for the first time in more than a decade I DIDN'T FEEL PAIN in my back!!!!! I couldn't believe it. With my visits to Jason, he worked a bunch of muscles, destroying knots and relieving tons of tension and pain. These two people are the real deal and I have already recommended the clinic to anyone who asks for a recommendation. This team really cares about getting you better. I don't write this review without experience. I used to go to a chiro in Mississauga who was good but I did not have a fraction of the relief that I get from this team. I would walk in, he would crack, and in 5 min I would be done. No stretches, which I know now make the biggest difference. And more recently, I visited a DIFFERENT chiropractor in Milton. After a cattle-herding sales pitch session in the evening, I was handed a crazy price and in no uncertain terms, was told I either take the whole package or we can't treat you. I left and never came back. If you want to get better, Milton Back Doc is the ONLY place for you.

Negative experience: New to the area and was looking for a massage after I pulled my back muscles. I was thrilled to find the Back Doctor. Better yet, the receptionist was able to put me in on the same day. I went in with such high hopes and was confident that I had found a good place with so many great reviews. Well my happiness didn't last long because I don't feel like I received a proper treatment. 5 mins into the session, I asked the therapist to apply more pressure but it didn't happen. Am I missing something here? Either she was too tired or just didn't want to do it. I have chronic pain so I do get massage regularly. The massage only lasted 30 min when I had paid for an hour.

Dr Nicola is amazing, she takes the time with every client and is not just adjusting and out the door kinda session. She really is great at her job and for massage therapy for my lower back pain I can tell you Sonia is amazing. Very good place and I have been in 2 car accidents and the past and tried many other places where they do adjustments or put heat and leave the room for 20 min out of a 30 min appointment. This is not the place they are great

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Dr. Kuehnel's since 2009. After seeing Chiropractors since childhood, I can honestly say there is a reason I am still seeing Dr. Kuehnel for all of my muscle and back issues after nearly five years - she is a gifted practitioner who truly cares for her patients. Dr. Kuehnel takes a professional and compassionate approach to treatment and is dedicated to thoroughly assessing your condition to get to the root cause. I've never had a chiropractor who focused as much on how soft tissues and connective tissues impact the joints/bones and to work on both of these for resolving pain. Dr. Kuehnel spends a great deal of time helping to treat the issues and is also a skilled RMT. The combined chiro & RMT approach for me has resulted in faster results and overall improvement to my health. I highly recommend Dr. Kuehnel for both chiropractic services and massage and her skilled ability to treat pregnant women.
