Expérience fantastique: I have been seeing Dr. Salmon on and off for 19 years. On and off only because we've moved around a ton. But every time we come back, he is who we see. He is a great listener, always has a story or 5 to share (making him very personable), and he is flexible in using the technique best for your system. But Dr. Salmon is only 50% of why we go to Vernon Chiropractic and Massage. The ladies at the front desk are my favorite. They are kind, patient, and will always try to squeeze you in when you're in rough shape.

Expérience fantastique: So, i was already seeing Corey for Massage and we decided i should check in with Dr Salmon after certain areas were not recovering. Dr Salmon is . He made me feel completely at ease. He is honest and up front and is able to explain things in a VERY understandable way. Like "I" understand whats going on. He was able to provide significant relief at my first visit and it has continued into subsequent visits. Such an easy to get along with personality. I told him at my last visit that "I leave here feeling healed physically AND mentally!" Definitely a professional/master of his art. So grateful for the life changing pain relief this team has provided. Right from walking in the door!

I have been going here for years and there has not been one time of a poor customer experience. From the time you enter the door to see the lovely team of Riley and Denise and then you’re welcome and taken to your room with a lovely massage ( I can’t temper the lovely assistant’s name! ) and then Dr. Salmon making his entrance and providing welcome relief; Both comedic and physical! He is such a kind, knowledgeable, and beautiful human being. He knows his craft and is one of the best chiropractors I’ve had in my life. I’ve also had the pleasure of Massage performed by Jamie and Cory. Both of their services are incredible! I know exactly how to heal me once I let them know where my pain is. The professionalism and expertise is beyond your normal massage therapy. Do yourself a favor… Don’t walk run to Vernon Chiropractic and Massage and have a very healing time there!!!!

Expérience fantastique: Dr. Salmon is a fantastic chiropractor. Super personable and easy to talk to. I came in with hip issues that had me hunched over like a 100 year old and literally got me jumping for joy :p His staff is also amazing, friendly, and accomadating. I probably change my appointment time 50% of the time and they suit my schedule without batting an eye. Also the massive plants in there are how you know this place is really a gem. Will be coming back as long as they let me ;)

Expérience fantastique: This was a top-notch experience. In all my years, I have NEVER experienced a chiropractor who was so skilled at the whole patient experience. It was a totally superb experience from start to finish. I will be with Dr Salmon for the rest of my life - no question about that. I think I will try to visit a couple of times a year just for a checkup. He immediately found a few small issues in seconds that I didn't even know I had until he told me about them. And he was totally right! I loved the experience!

Dr. Salmon has helped fix a couple issues over the years caused by mountain biking and lifting. Each time he's given me all the background info I need to not only fix the issue but also to prevent future injury. Visits have been very effective.

The reception staff are very professional, friendly and provide compassionate & exceptional service! Dr Salmon is an expert in his field and really takes the time to listen, to answer questions and address any concerns that you have. He has a very holistic approach to pt care which i appreciate. Kalia my massage therapist is very client focussed and takes the time to listen to what my body issues are. She is great at making adaptations during treatment. Love her home care suggestions too. This is a quality "team" practice and has been an ongoing part of my disability and rehab regime.

As an RMT myself and an educator of RMTs-to-be, I have seen hundreds of practitioners and still Jamie remains at the top of my list!

Expérience fantastique: Everything is amazing at this clinic. From the moment you call to make an appointment, you are treated with respect and care. There have been many times that reception/ administration have spent time with me clearing up issues with my benefits providers (before my providers decided to upgrade into the ease of direct billing). I have been a client of Dr. Salmon's for just over 20 years and my three children have seen him since they were born; I attribute their easy temperaments to his dedication to keeping their bodies aligned as they grew!! I trust his treatment, judgements, and recommendations completely. Everyone I have referred to him tell me that they are extremely pleased with his service and have continued to go to him. The massage therapists are incredibly well trained, not only through their certified programs, but also taking many additional courses in specialized areas. Personally, my massage needs are extensive and complicated due to multiple abdominal surgeries, internal trauma, and work-related CPTSD, each causing physical pain throughout my muscles and nervous system. The RMT(s) work together to stay informed of my progress so that anyone could cover if my main RMT is on holidays and I do not have to miss much needed therapy. Thank you Tara, Cindy, Sarah, and Jamie! Without this group, I would not be able to make it through a day!

Expérience négative: Watch out for their massage therapists especially Jamie Cawston. She will insists for you to take your necklace off, and she will put it on a tissue safely on her desk then say it has gone missing. Her massage also wasn’t good. It’s either too rough or too soft.

Expérience fantastique: Love the team at Vernon Chiro!!! Dr Salmon has been amazing in my healing journey. If it wasn't for him I would be in so much pain. He is so great with my kid as well when she comes in with me !!! We love coming here as he is focused on getting me better and I don't feel like another number in a file or just another client he truly cares for his patients !!

Expérience fantastique: I see Tara H for massage, and she is absolutely amazing at what she does! She’s very attentive and checks in on your comfort throughout the treatment and adjusts accordingly. She listens to your concerns and keeps notes on previous treatments, and checks in, which very few RMTs seem to do! It’s really helpful for someone with chronic pain/injuries to know you’re being followed closely by a provider. She has a wealth of knowledge and a calm demeanour and is an overall gem of a human! Highly recommended!

On another note Sarah Leslie, one of the massage therapists, has been incredible! I saw several RMT's before meeting Sarah and she was the first one to make any effort to make a plan to work with me to get me back in tip top shape. Expérience fantastique: Fabulous experience and results! Some years ago I suffered a soft tissue injury and thought "suck it up"...nothing broken/give it time. However, it has continued to bother me, and although somewhat improved, still negatively affects me on a daily basis. Recently, with an offer of a free consultation, I met with Dr Salmon. After 3 treatments, the improvement is tremendous; I believe a few more treatments will make me completely pain free, and fully mobile as I should be. Who knew!! I have never been to chiro before now, and with a multitude of others' bad experiences in memory, I was somewhat skeptical. However, I'd encourage you to meet with him if you have back or torso problems (ribs, etc). I've no doubt you'll have a far better understanding of your condition, and perhaps even the same wonderful results as I've experienced under his care and attention. Good luck!

Expérience fantastique: Been going there to see Dr. Michael Salmon since my accident in 2006. He had to work to regain my trust since the last chiropractor I saw was a real jerk. He did, and he's been amazing ever since. Always enjoy my chats with him, and he always knows just the right remedy for my aching body. I also go there to see Tim Craven, who, while he can be very mean to you (in a good way), he's really just a big teddy bear. He'll work out any muscles that want to get out of line.
