The physiotherapist helping my child keeps coming up with new methods to improve her condition when, after months of therapy elsewhere, improvement seemed to have haulted and we were beginning to think my child was as close to recovery as she would ever get. I now truly believe we will see a full recovery through this highly skilled and creative physiotherapist's methods.

Thanks to Aimee and Damien's excellent work, my daughter has made huge improvements. Not only do they do great work, but at Honeybee Pediatric, there's an extremely friendly receptionist and staff. Always available to help you when you need it or there for a quick chat while you wait. My daughter is always excited to go when it's time, and disappointed when she can't go. She uses the same lessons from Aimee and Damien have taught her and applies them to her playtime with friends. I can't thank everyone enough for what they have done for my daughter. I highly recommend Honeybee Pediatric Therapy.

Expérience fantastique: My 8 year old is getting therapy with Mr Carson for club foot and it's been a great experience for us all. Initially we were unable to afford treatment and we were given a few options for funding that took a little while to access but now we are covered and getting all the help she needs! We have reminders linked directly to my calendar so we are never guessing when follow ups are. Mr Carson is thorough and is easy to understand. Treatment is clear and works together with her orthopedic surgeon and we have been given tools and exercises to help her gain mobility. He plays games that incorporate treatment that keeps my daughter engaged and exited for the next visit and instills the importance of following her exercises at home. I Would recommend Honeybee to anyone, its truly a great environment and company where we are treated very well.

Expérience fantastique: My family's experience at Carson Therapy has been wonderful! Both Aimee and Demian are kind and compassionate and they treat my children with respect. My daughter's speech has shown a lot of improvement from her sessions with Aimee and Demian has helped my oldest daughter find solutions to ease her pain and increase her confidence while improving her strength and mobility. Niki at the front desk is always friendly and has been really helpful with coordinating appointments for both of my kids and within the boundaries of our busy schedule.

The therapists go above and beyond for our boys, the receptionists are always lovely, and they are always so happy to help us in any way that they can! Expérience fantastique: Our daughter has been accessing Occupational Therapy services at Carson Therapy for approximately one year now and to say that it has been a life/game changer is an understatement. We've noticed a huge positive change in her behaviour and our home life and this past school year was the most successful she has ever had. This is due in large part to the services/ support she has received from her OT re: recognizing triggers, developing coping methods, and learning to advocate for herself. The wonderful, creative, intelligent child we knew was buried somewhere below the surface of immense struggles is now shining through. We have always had open, honest and constructive communication with her OT and the rest of the staff involved in her treatment. It is clear to us that the staff have the same goals as us in regards to helping her succeed and thrive. They are open to feedback and chat with us after each session so we are all on the same page and so that we can continue exercises and guidance at home. The admin staff is friendly, knowledgable and helpful when it comes to navigating our direct billing. OT services was definitely the missing link for our daughter and I'm so glad we found Carson Therapy

Expérience négative: I wish I had listened to the warnings. Would have saved me six months of wasted time and money at this struggling business. But being new to Vernon I quickly discovered all the reputable therapists have a long wait list and Carson Therapy was accepting walk-ins. Looking back now, that wasn’t convenient luck so much as it was a huge red flag. I’ve got three special needs kids and it was obvious from the start that everyone at Carson Therapy (with the exception of Paris) was struggling and were out of their depth. From billing issues with multiple funding sources at the front desk that I’m still trying to sort out and clean up, to a complete disregard of advice and recommendations from our pediatrician - six months was all we could muster. Beyond that (as if we needed more reasons to leave), what marked the end for us was when the physiotherapist suggested my daughter get an x-ray of a sprained muscle (let that one sink in for a moment) and one of my sons was referred away to Vancouver by the Occupational Therapist and I was told they couldn’t help him. I guess some cute games were all they could offer him here. So, that’s YOUR warning now. I’m sure for some easy, light lifting stuff, Carson Therapy might be a good fit for you…. But clearly if you’ve got a few challenges for them, it will likely be beyond their reach as they are not a good fit for everyone.

We have been cared for so thoughtfully since the very first phone call inquiry. The clinicians and staff are nothing short of spetacluar. Both Demian and Paris are exceptional therapists and are incredibly skilled at working with children. It is obvious that they communicate with each other about what my son's needs are, and each will reinforce what the other is working on. Demian and Paris both tailor their sessions to what my son is interested in and to the needs of our family as a whole. Could not be happier with the level of care he is receiving from Carson Therapy.

Expérience fantastique: I struggled with hip pain for over a year. Had Chiro and massage therapy with no relief. Just three sessions with Demian, including dry needle therapy, and the change is amazing! Thank you, Demian.

Expérience fantastique: As an avid cyclist for many decades, I had excruciating lower back pain with constant Sciatica that eventually got so bad I was limping and my foot went numb. I was sent to a surgeon by my GP twice as I had compressed nerves and was put on nerve blockers, but no surgery they said, until I could not get out of bed basically. My first physio therapist helped but the pain did not go away entirely, even after months of physio. After close to two years of suffering I went to Carson Therapy. Demian diagnosed my situation accurately. I still had the compressed nerves, but from years of mountain biking and road riding had muscle imbalance and tightness that complicated the problem(I obviously do not stretch properly or enough). In three months I was becoming pain free and after approximately 5 months felt no pain at all and the feeling came back in my foot. I now do my stretches and excercises only two to three times per week and remain pain free with better mobility and flexibility. I highly recommend this clinic.

Expérience fantastique: I have found the clinic to be very inviting for children and Damian is so great with them. He does his assessments all while playing and chatting and then relays the information to the parents. With Covid, we have been doing virtual visits from the comfort of our own home and this has been very effective as well. The developmental charts he refers to and interprets are so helpful to gain insight into how your child is doing, compared to his or her peers and compared to themselves from the previous visits.

The video allows him to demonstrate exercises as well as critique my efforts. He is an excellent physiotherapist, but even more importantly to me is his positive, encouraging attitude. Expérience fantastique: My daughter loves her speech sessions and with Aimee's teaching style, my daughter doesn't feel like improving her speech is work. My daughter was classified as having severe speech issues and we've been seeing Aimee for a couple of years. When we started, my daughter was very hard to understand and now we're just fine-tuning some sounds. Aimee's style of using words to teach sounds has also helped my daughter become a really good and clear reader. Best of all, my daughter's confidence has soared and she's comfortable now talking to other kids and making friends! I'll be forever grateful for all the hard work Aimee has put in and how amazing she is with my daughter.

Expérience fantastique: 2 months before my 100k race I was dealing with foot pain. As a runner the last thing I wanted to do was stop running. I went to see Demian , he helped me to get my foot, back in great condition for my race . I wouldn't of been able to compete in the race without Demian's help. Thanks for all you have done for me.
