Fantastic experience: I had a horrific fall in April of this year and found that the impact of the fall left me with so much pain that I was unable to sleep for months. One afternoon, while visiting with my nephew, he happened to tell me about shoulder pain he had been experiencing and the relief he felt from seeing Dr. Rob. I didn’t like the idea of seeing a chiropractor but my nephew said, “Aunt Heather!, he’s not a BONE CRUSHER!!!” That was my biggest fear!! I was at the point of no return to being able to live a normal life and ever getting any sleep!!! So, I gave Westside Family Chiropractic a call and was happy to hear from Adele that NO!! Dr. Rob is not a BONE CRUSHER!!! I don’t know where I would be today if I hadn’t gone to see Dr. Rob! I am able to walk upright when I get up in the morning, I’m getting 8-9 hours of sleep a night, I have a sense of wellbeing that I haven’t had in a long time, and my mobility is improving daily! Not only does Dr. Rob do soft tissue manipulation, he also encourages patience and gives continual support for the whole person, mentally, emotionally and physically. Fantastic experience: One of the best health care practitioners I’ve ever had the pleasure of getting treatment from. I had a few serious weakness’s that were causing some biomechanical issues with my body resulting in vertigo and a lack of overall wellbeing. Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Dr. Rob's since June 2012. He has helped me over the years with anything ranging from monthly adjustments, sciatic pain in my hip, my knee clicking when going down the stairs, to treating numbness in my arm down to the tips of my fingers. Dr. Rob listens, assesses and suggests a plan of action. Then after some treatments, he will re-evaluate and see whats working and what's not, all the while listening to me, his patient. He offers home based excerises to strengthen and prevent reinjuring ,which aren't overly time consuming but very effective. I can't say enough about how Dr. Rob has helped me get my mobility back. Fantastic experience: Over Christmas holidays (2023) I drove a few thousand kilometers and developed a serious pain in my groin and hip. I'm an active person who exercises regularly, but this situation was a serious obstacle and kept me from doing the things I enjoyed. Even putting my socks on was a huge and painful challenge. A friend recommended Dr. Rudy and I was able to get in quickly. He did a thorough assessment (x-rays, in person, etc) and was able to explain and show me exactly what was going on and why, and how we might get me back on track. Some of the issues were chronic underlying issues that needed to be addressed for some time but I had ignored or chocked them up to my aging body. Although the situation was more serious than I had thought he reassured me and explained how WE were going to tackle this issue. With regular visits and me investing time to do the exercises he prescribed, the pain subsided quickly and I built up a solid foundation so that I could resume doing the things I enjoyed. Dr. Rudy combines caring with his expertise to reassure and guide you. The evening after my first adjustment, he called me at home to see how I was managing. Dr. Rudy uses a non invasive approach and the only time I heard a joint crack, it was his wrist while he was working on me. Rates are very reasonable and he invests a a great deal into your wellbeing. He did what he promised and in the timeline he proposed and I am much better off for having seen him. I have recommended a few other people in the meantime, and would encourage you to do the same if you are struggling with chronic muscle or joint pain. Adele is one of the friendliest people you'll ever meet and she is the one who greets you at the door and takes care of logistics. Rates are very reasonable and you get plenty of value when you are able to reclaim some of your favourite things in life that pain might otherwise keep you from doing.

The initial intake was very thorough, and I knew immediately that I was on the right path to remediate my lower back pain and associated ailments. Fantastic experience: When I started seeing Dr. Rob about 6 months ago, I came to him in horrible pain not being able to sit or stand. Through his thorough assement he was able to find areas of my back that needed "help" and we came up with a plan of action! Over the months coming, my pain has subsided and I am able to enjoy doing things that I had been missing out due to my pain. Dr. Rob also gave me exercises to do at home, which has helped tremendously and we are now working on treating other problem areas of my back. Fantastic experience: My name is Teri Strain. I have been a patient of Dr. Rob's for almost 22 years! Without his expertise and care I know I would not have the quality of life I have, nor would my daughter, Georgia nor my partner, Adrian. Adele is spectacular - an absolute gem! So warm, compassionate and personable! A multi-tasker extraordinaire and a creative problem solver! I would like to particularly focus on a remarkable recovery by my partner, Adrian VandenBroek. Adrian was in a tragic work accident on May 10, 2022 which resulted in him having a crushed pelvis, drop foot and multiple injuries. He was in a Toronto hospital for 6 months. I got him into see Dr. Rob as soon as possible after Adrian was able to come home last November, 2022. Adrian was in a wheelchair when he had his first visit with Dr. Rob after the accident. He was in a great deal of pain. Dr. Rob worked gently, but progressively on range of movement and strength building. He also provided appropriate exercises for Adrian's daily routine. In tandem with physio and massage, Adrian graduated to a walker, then a cane and can now walk (albeit with a limp) without a cane much of the time. I know that Adrian would not be where he is today without Dr. Rob's care! It was simply astounding to watch the transformation. Each week Dr. Rob would be able to get a little more movement, a little more stretch with Adrian's legs (particularly his right). He has also helped with range of motion in his arms and shoulders, and generally his entire body. Adrian is a walking miracle, having defied the odds several times. Dr. Rob has always been one to offer hope, yet realistic expectations. He is thorough and honest. Dr. Rob's steadfast dedication to all of his patients is commendable. He is kind and caring. My family and I are blessed to have Dr. Rob in our lives and I would recommend him (and I have) to anyone who wants to resolve pain, discomfort and limitations in their body. You are worth it!

Fantastic experience: Greetings friends, and happy Friday. I’ve been visiting with Dr. Rob at the Westside Family Chiropractic Clinic now for a few weeks. I was extremely reluctant to visit any chiropractor and I have never seen one in my 57 years. I suffered a serious injury sometime in 2022 and I have been through physiotherapy for this injury. Two years on and I have not had any relief for this whatsoever. None. So, when Dr. Rob came so highly recommended to me from three (3) people, I decided , I better check it out. I woke up this morning for the first time, in over two years …with ZERO pain! Zero. Whatever procedure DR. Rob gave to me yesterday in his office, well it’s been 24 hours now and I’m delighted to report that I am STILL in absolutely no…pain!!!!! Fantastic experience: I saw two MD's and one Chiropractor before meeting with Dr. Rob and I'm so glad I made the effort for that fourth opinion. Rob's focus on explaining the biomechanics of my bulging disc and how he was going to use natural methods and targeted physiotherapy to help me get back to normal was so re-assuring as it was communicated to me in a way I could understand. Being able to create an individualized plan rather than a "one size fits all" made me confident that results would come. And they did, I'm now three months after my first visit I am back playing basketball again which is amazing considering how I had felt on my first visit. Dr. Rob and Adele create a warm and fun environment, which always makes for an enjoyable visit.

Fantastic experience: Dr.Rob is the reason I can function today. It's not only the weekly adjustment that keeps me going but all the other stuff most people don't realize. Dr.Rob has an array of technices from differant sorces that he has mastered over the years, and is always educating himself to improve his repertoire of treatment. Fantastic experience: When my sister began recounting her successes with Dr. Rob, I asked her to see if he could do anything for trigger finger I had developed in my thumb. I really didn’t expect much. He told her he had had good results with trigger finger with other clients. I am pleased to say that the problem with my thumb is 100% resolved and no longer an issue for me. Beyond that, I am so impressed with Dr. Rob’s approach to making sure all parts of the body are working harmoniously. I never have to say I have a problem, he knows already. Fantastic experience: I have been a patient of Dr. Rob Rudy for many years. I trust in his techniques and know that he continues studying and taking courses to provide the best, up-to-date improvements for his patients. I started using chiropractic in my twenties as a way to control migraine headaches and neck pain. I have tried a few chiropractors over the years as I found that just getting an adjustment helped my body stay stronger and freer of pain. I have now been a patient of Dr. Rob since he started practicing in Peterborough. He has helped me control headaches; neck pain; should and arm pain and currently lower back and sciatic pain caused by arthritis. Dr. Rob helps his patients by doing research to find ways of providing exercises that will help needed areas of the body to develop strength and control. He then creates videos on his website to demonstrate these exercises using proper form. He also posts a weekly session providing patients with information regarding his line of expertise. Dr. Rob suggests and shows us that if we can change the way our body moves when performing every day tasks that we can live healthier more pain-free lives. Due to my physical circumstance, I will be using a chiropractor for a very long time and I have found the one for me.

Fantastic experience: This place is absolutely amazing. This is my second time to Dr Rob for two different situations. This time around.. I was on a cool liquids and soft food diet, and even had trouble breathing sometimes. After a small time with him I am now able to eat normal again and actually enjoy my hot coffee. Fantastic experience: I was referred to Dr Rob by a co-worker, after she observed me in debilitating pain after a lower back injury. I had been misdiagnosed elsewhere, but my issues were recognized within minutes of Dr Rob's initial consultation. I went from barely able to lift my legs because of nerve pain, to returning to work and then back to full duties in under 2 months. Dr Rob's treatment hasn't been limited to in clinic care, he has taught me exercises and stretches to aid in recovery, prevent future issues, and improve overall health. Fantastic experience: Came in doubled over in pain 3 months ago; never experienced anything like that before. It was scary. Dr. Rob put me on a plan that included treatment and education and "homework" (easy exercises) that everyone should actually be doing. Before visiting, I would get muscle spasms frequently and always had "bad back days". Dr. Rob not only treated, but educated me which is even more important. I am now informed enough so that I can avoid those bad back days. I have also been spasm-free and seldomly get a bad back day since coming to see Dr. Rob. Can't fail to mention the care from both Dr. Rob and Adele can't be beat.

I’ve had years of doctors appointments and multiple tests, medications, treatments etc. with no relief. Fantastic experience: I went in to the Clinic because of knee pain and shoulder problems. I was diagnosed with my hips out of alignment and 3 of 4 rotor cuff muscles not firing properly. I went for treatment sometimes twice a week. It was incredible but knees were no longer in pain and I saw the difference in my shoulder movement. I still need work on my back as it was out of alignment because of my hips. The time frame, less than a month. I fully endorse the clinic for the work that is done!

Fantastic experience: I am so grateful for the referral to Dr. Rob. Not aware of my own needs and focusing on everyone else for many years I found myself in a lot of pain and not having much mobility. I was unable to walk very far because of pain in both knees and was extremely weak. I am an active 66 year old woman who enjoys walking my dog and doing many activities which involves mobility. I began my treatments with Dr. Rob and started to feel better. My mobility has increased almost 100% and slowly my pain became less and less. Now I have reached a point, my treatments are giving me more strength, stability and confidence. I will continue with my wellness program then continue for maintenance treatment. I continue to do my strengthening exercises, and am able to walk my dog everywhere daily. I am learning to apply back friendly movements when doing certain activities and feel so much better. I started to see Dr. Rob in 2009 when I relocated to Peterborough. I was looking for a chiropractor who was very gentle and yet extremely effective. I have had ongoing back issues since an early age and am very happy that I have found Dr. Rob. He not only assists and treats me when I am having significant issues, but also supports me with ongoing maintenance and education to assist in making not only my back health better but my overall health better as well. Fantastic experience: I have been going to see Dr. Rob for several years now to support me in caring for a concussion I had. Unfortunately, Dr. Rob was the last specialist I went to see and boy do I ever wish he was the first!! After seeing many specialists like physiotherapists, acupuncturists, neurologists and many more to help me with concussion symptoms i had suffered with for years...nobody could help me. Then a friend suggested I go see Dr. Rob and my life has forever changed for the better. I used to struggle with concussion symptoms daily, feeling hopeless and helpless that they would never get better or even get under control. Dr. Rob took the time and care to do his own research on my behalf to ensure he was helping me to the best of his abilities. He was thorough in understanding my condition and has been the only resource to date that has been able to improve my condition, keep it stable and allow me to have a mostly normal life as a young adult. Fantastic experience: It’s difficult to write a concise review after receiving excellent care for the past 18 years or so. My first treatments from Dr. Rob were to help me through Cancer - surgery and subsequent Chemo treatments. At the urging of my son, I agreed to go see Dr rob I was very skeptical of Chiropractic treatments to help cancer. But because of the pre- and post-surgery treatments I believe my recovery was much faster with the premise of helping the body heal itself, with the of treatment and guidance (support) of the Chiropractor. Fantastic experience: Dr. Rob has helped me in so many ways over the years! With my back, certainly, but also in many other areas. When I wasn't able to see him, during the first months of the pandemic, my arthritic knee worsened to the point where it was painful to walk even around the house. When I started to see him again, on a weekly basis, I was able to walk normally again. Such a relief! I had forgotten what it was like to walk down my hallway without pain. Dr. Rob is kind and does not judge. He is there to help, in whatever way he can. I can't think of an issue he has not been able to help with, from headaches to foot pain and everything in between. Fantastic experience: Dr. Rob has helped me in so many ways. It all started with a sprained thumb, when he fixed that I got feeling back into a finger I had the end removed more then 40 years ago. Now the nail grows and I have feeling in it. Last fall I was suffering from anxiety and with in a few visits I felt relief where the medical Dr. couldn't do anything but give drugs which I have a bad reaction to. Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Westside Family Chiropractic and Dr. Rob. His low force techniques are different than a lot of other chiropractors, which at first I doubted, but after receiving care and the incredible results I can say without hesitation I wouldn't go anywhere else! He is incredibly knowledgeable. The open office is nice as you can see the variety of techniques he does and the wide range of aliments he is treating. Hearing others talk, make you realize you are not alone in your aches and pain, and even remind you to mention something that might be bothering you. Patients and staff are friendly and you are treated like family. You aren't just getting treated to cure, he gives you valuable knowledge and exercise program(s) to be preventative. If you have had a bad experience in the past, or heard horror stories from people with other Chiropractors, this is not what you will experience with Dr. Rob.
