I was looking for a Gonstead chiropractor here in BC and he absolutely does the name justice! Fantastic experience: After reading the other glowing reviews, I decided I needed to be a. 'brave girl'( age 63) and let Dr Antony take a look at my sore neck, left side weakness and migraine. Over the years most doctors just smile gently and offer me meds...not my choice since I am an active swim/bike/run/row type of person. So glad I made the appt, forced myself to go and gave this amazing clinic a chance. First appt was so reassuring, supportive, informative and I truly felt 'heard' and cared for. The testing was explained perfectly, not rushed and results were reviewed in real time. Very comprehensive. Worth every single penny. Fantastic experience: I’ve been seeing Dr. Antony (Li-Fong) Lin at AdaptSpine since 2023, during a period where I wasn’t paying enough attention to my health. That’s when I first discovered how serious my lower back disc herniation had become. Fantastic experience: I have been regularly going to Adapt Spine for treatment after a "minor" bike collision with a car in January that triggered a slew of painful symptoms in some areas, and a loss of function/numbness in other areas. I was very scared and frustrated because the handful of doctors I looked to for support just told me I was too young to experience these symptoms (as if saying that would make the symptoms stop). Dr. Antony was able to do x-rays and take readings from handheld devices to determine the source of the issues. Results vary person to person but for me, being able to see the progress was very mentally significant and despite recovery being a process which has regressed sometimes, I am at an incredibly improved state now from January. From being unable to sit without my legs going completely numb to walking 5km each day with my dog again is something I can’t say thank you enough for. Dr. Antony was also able to work with me through constraints and support me with recovery as I figured out other aspects of my life. The level of care and compassion is from both Dr. Antony as well as his staff Leigh and Sabrina is something I don’t have any other medical experience that compares to. Fantastic experience: I went to see Dr Lin after breaking my T6/T7 vertebrae and he was extremely thorough in his diagnostics, assessment and treatment of me. He communicated his findings clearly and made it easy for me to see (xrays and charts) and understand my condition. And after just one treatment I had at least an 80% reduction in pain. I've continued to see Dr Lin throughout the healing process and feel that without his help, it would have taken significantly longer to heal and would have been considerably more painful.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Anthony is the most kindest, patient, and understanding doctor I've ever had. He was able to see me almost right away and went out of his way to accommodate me for an acute injury I sustained while at work. He sat while I cried in pain, explained what was happening and what he was doing to treat it, didn't rush our time together, and genuinely cared. I wish all doctors were like him. If you have an acute injury or are just seeking treatment for old injuries or maintenance I hands down recommend him. Best ever! Fantastic experience: Dr. Antony has fixed my kinked and locked spine which I've had for decades from old motorcycle crashes and mountain bike crashes. Though other broken bones healed I never thought to check my spine after my recoveries. So when a random lower back spasm got me seeking and receiving some massage therapy, it was also suggested by the RT that i try some chiropractic sessions because she could feel i had some locked ribs. well lucky for me the Adapt Spine Clinic was right across the street. When I was given the rundown by his lovely front desk person of how before even the first manipulation, X-rays are taken and also thermal of the spine to find inflammation and muscle spasming detection tests and heart rate evaluation to help get the bigger picture. Well I was sold on X-rays because back in the mid or late 90's when I seeked out some chiropractic therapy I also asked the doctor then, "Don't you need to take an X-ray ?". The answer was, "No not necessary.". Well I thought "That's just bloody guesswork then.". So after that I never held much faith in the practice. As time went on I'd hear good and bad testimonials about Chiros so I thought well its hit or miss to get a good one. So skeptical, but willing to give it another try, I walked into the place and it rang true to my ears when I heard X-ray. Then after having the Gonstead holistic approach to chiropractic therapy by Dr. Antony explained to me about what each test is looking for and that those symptoms are indication of acute issues in that area, it sounded even better. So we started on my plan and now a few months in and multiple manipulations later I can say I feel like my spine can turn and twist like normal, and my walk and stepping is like I remember when I was a very young man. I'm 58 yrs old now. I'm not fully perfect yet. My re-assessment has shown great big improvement, which I knew it would show because I definitely feel the difference. Fantastic experience: I came to see Dr. Antony a year ago after being “scammed” by my chiropractor before, who essentially spent a year putting my back in the wrong place. Me and my family travelled from kelowna and after our first visit we already knew he was impeccable at his job, and knows the Gonstead method like no other. i came due to severe nerve pain in my leg, and on the x-rays, Dr. Antony found a torn ligament in my neck along with a few other things that only took him a few appointments to correct. The leg pain has completely gone away since. He has been the most understanding about our 4 hour commute and shows a lot of respect to me and my family, never making us feel like our pain is something we should get used to living with. I fell down the stairs one day and he assured me that whichever day i could drive down, he would find a way treat me even tho there were no more appointments available that day, and he did. Same when someone rear ended me a few weeks later. Over the last year we brought family friends from France as well who got the same level of respect from the team and saw major improvements in their health after the first appointment. I wanted to send the biggest thank you to the Adapt Spine team from the ladies at the front who always make me laugh after the long drive, to the beautiful family running it, thank you!

Fantastic experience: I came into the clinic with some spectacular lower back pain and shooting pains in my right buttock that made it challenging to sit anywhere for very long, sleeping positions were limited and I was just just so tired of being in pain. I'm lucky that he's in my neighbourhood and came up in a search. I was deeply impressed by the Gonstead method when reading about it. You want to take xrays and actually SEE what my spine looks like?! Also- before each treatment you get into a gown so the Dr. can actually SEE and FEEL your spine! TOTALLY makes sense to me! Dr. Antony took the time to listen to my health concerns without judgment about my age or weight, something which I am SO deeply thankful for. After taking a look at my xrays and other tests, he came up with a plan (newsflash- months of pain will not disappear with a couple of adjustments) and we started my treatment. It's a commitment both in time and money but SO worth it. I'm now 3/4 done and I have so much less pain! My bulging disc has calmed down and I have no doubt it will continue to get better with Dr. Antony's help. The office is beautiful and the staff are all super kind and friendly. Fantastic experience: 8 weeks ago I was completely debilitated due to a bulged disc in my lower back. I was experiencing 10/10 sciatic nerve pain. I could not walk, stand or sit without excruciating pain in my back, leg and sciatic nerve. Dr Antony Lin, is very specific with his treatment and has taken the time to ensure that I have been alleviated from my back and sciatic pain in record time. Typically without treatment it is a 6 week process to being able to do basic movements, after the first weekend, I was well on to my road to recovery, see below for my timeline of recovery. Timeline : Day 1-5 - unable to walk or stand or even lie without pain. Received treatment every day. At the end of day 3 I could walk with less sciatic pain. Week 1-2 - able to walk with minor discomfort, needed to take lots of breaks to lie down and sit. At the end of week 2 I was in a wedding party and needed to emcee. Manage to do so with minimal pain. Week 3-4 - seeing Dr Lin twice a week. Bulge disc is recovering and pressure is coming off of the nerve. Able to walk pain free. Swung golf club for the first time in almost a month. Sciatic pain occurs when standing and sitting for too long. Week 5-6 - treatment schedule is the same as above. Walked my first pitch and putt round (4km) . Ok to golf via power cart . Starting regular walks and pilates to help strengthen glutes and back. Pain occurs when sitting too long. Week 7-8 - pain free , able to walk an entire golf course and play back to back rounds and exercise regularly. Dr Lin's Gonstead approach has helped me relieve my impingements after each session and onward to a permanent recovery. Feeling pain free after a bulge disc is nothing short of a miracle. There are many things that differ using the Gonstead approach, the best way to describe it is the spine is adjusted to allow the body to naturally heal. Fantastic experience: I've been a patient for the past few months and I am really happy with the treatment and the results so far. I really appreciated that Dr. Lin took the time to inform me about what the underlying issues were and the detail of the treatments during the sessions. I also appreciated that regular sessions only took 15-20 minutes so I can squeeze in the appointment in between other plans. Overall I would definitely recommend this clinic and to make appointments sooner than later as I've noticed time slots are filling up as the clinic is becoming more popular.

Fantastic experience: I came to Adapt Spine Centre after spending about $60k on various other chiropractic methods , physio , sports massage , RMT , yoga .. you name it I tried it , trying to fix my pelvis/hip/sacrum pain. My pelvis and hips were in extreme pain all the time , to the point where standing up or walking for a few minutes would be excruciating and I would feel winded. It got to the point where my pelvis was so tilted that even going to the bathroom to pee was difficult , as I could literally not bend , and as a female during certain time of the month, I could literally NOT even insert a tampon (sorry for the TMI , but this was how horrible my pain/range of motion was). Somedays debilitated and I would just cry and hope taking pain killers would help (they did nothing). I KNEW the initial time and cost would be high , but after spending 10 years like this , 2 visits a week for several weeks seemed like a good trade off , if I would be able to function like a 'normal' human. Dr. Lin is amazing , and he took the time to listen to me (all the details) and didn't brush off my pain as "normal" or me being over dramatic , or a 'whiny female' , which has occurred with much of this journey with most medical doctors. Chiropractic are has been one of the only reasons I have been able to function for the last 10 years. I've been going twice a week for about 10 weeks , and just started on to the once a week phase. During this time you have up's and downs, it's not an instant fix , but the first time I rolled over without having to "think" about it , or literally bent down with no pain to tie my shoes was such a good feeling. It has been years since I didn't feel like I had 10 pound lead weights pulling my pelvis down , and it's so great to be able to "live" a normal life again. I will continue my visits and the steps to get to the one a month maintenance visit. The office is very clean , modern and the staff are kind and it's an all around relaxing and none intimidating environment. Dr. Lin truly cares about all his patients and takes the time to get to know each of them. You get a true "family" feel visiting this office vs a clinical detached feeling. Parking isn't too crazy for street parking (I've never not found a spot) and it's free which is great . It's worth the Drive , as every time I leave feeling better. I am so happy I found Adapt , 10/10 recommend if you feel that you've tried everything.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been in having muscle pain , nervousness, anxious , tight muscles on my left side on my body for about 6 years making it hard for me to go to the gym, go for bike rides and other things that made it difficult for me to do, I’ve been going to almost everything there was out there, chiropractors, acupuncture, laser treatment, Massage , deep tissue massage , dry needling , physio therapy . Fantastic experience: I just had my first Chiropractic session with Dr. Lin today and I must say he was so knowledgable and took the time to explain every test and what their purpose was. He is a very polite, positive person with a great sense of humour. The entire experience was enlightening as well as enjoyable. So glad to be a patient knowing that I am in good hands.
