Fantastic experience: Best chiropractor I've ever had hands down!

Negative experience: Staff service is lacking. Their policies are over the top. I booked weeks in advance couldn’t make it. They say I still have to pay. No wiggle room. I’m a business owner and I would never enforce policies like this as things happen. Even if it is written. Don’t think I will book here again. Seems this is a typical thing for this place.

Fantastic experience: When I first started going to Josh at The Chiro Doc, I was very skeptical. Dr. Josh said give me 1 month and then you can decide. Well in all honesty ny my 3 visit I was feeling better I now go 1 or 2 times a month to adjust and I feel really good. Thanks Dr. Josh

Fantastic experience: It had been many years since I was at a chiropractor! Recently I had an injury while playing sports and resumed after few weeks of physio and healing. However I was experiencing some pain and discomfort again so a family member referred me to the Chiro Doc. I have been for 3 treatments so far and do the suggested exercises daily and more than once on some days. I have resumed all my physical activities and have no discomfort or pain. I am going to continue with both the treatments and the exercises to make sure I continue to maintain this foundation that has helped me get back to the lifestyle I enjoy!

Fantastic experience: The Chiro Doc was a quick and seamless experience. From a warm welcome upon entry, to a variety of techniques used to address my pain points, the Chiro Doc had me in and out with quality care in a short period of time. And for a busy Mom, this is important!

Fantastic experience: I first started at the clinic about 15 years ago. I was always apprehensive about chiropractic procedures. Nucca was explained to me that it was a gentle manipulation that helped straiten the spine without any of the cracking. My next was so stiff but after a few treatments I was able to turn my nexk again. I just recently returned to the clinic as I was experiencing some of the same symptoms as well as knee and hip problems. Since coming back I have noticed less pain in my hips and knees. Having a straight spine does help. I would highly recommend this clinic for anyone experiencing joint pain.

Fantastic experience: When I was a teen I was hit by a car while riding a bicycle. This accident led to a lifelong treck to traditional chiropractic treatments with only temporary relief. After many years I resigned myself to a lifelong back and neck pain. On a visit to Switzerland my sister introduced me to NUCCA. It was the first time in years that after two treatments I was pain free. Coming back to BC I discovered there was no one in this province that was trained in NUCCA. For a few years when the pain became unbearable I went back to cracking for temporary relief. Then I found Dr Stehmeier who is a highly trained NUCCA specialist. After only a couple of treatments my pain was gone! I finally had a life that was not controlled by pain! Fantastic experience: Before I meet Dr. Stehmeier I was maybe feeling 70% myself after constantly going to chiropractors for previous years. The last chiropractor I had before I moved suggested seeing a neck chiropractor that could potentially further help me to get back to feeling more myself after a previous injury. That’s where I found Dr. Stehmeier who is a nucca chiropractor who specializes in necks. Although I have come to terms that I will probably never be back to 100% myself, I have gained my life back seeing Dr. Stehmeier. I no longer am having neurological issue as I was having before seeing him and my headaches have cut down more then half as I used to have one almost everyday. Dr. Stehmeier and Krissy are so nice and very accommodating if I need to come back in if something just isn’t right. I highly recommend the chiro doc if you are struggling in anyway like I was or just need a simple adjustment.

Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Dr. Stehmeier since 2018 after almost 2 decades of worsening symptoms and “corrective” treatments that were not getting to the root of my problem. After my first visit and x-rays, Dr Josh told me my “problem” all these years was not as I’d been told, it was in fact my body’s compensating response to a severe tilt/rotation in my upper cervical/skull. My once 3-4x/month migraines are easily 80% better and I no longer have to wear a lift in my shoes. I’m so grateful to have him as a part of my care team! Nucca is amazing!

Fantastic experience: This review is long overdue. I started seeing Joshua many years ago after pains in my neck and back could not be resolved by several other different health practitioners. Joshua said that if he could not help me gain relief or reduction of my pains within 4-6 visits, that I should seek help elsewhere (such a different attitude than other practitioners that just told me to keep coming even more often). Joshua was able to combine Nucca and ART to resolve those initial pains. I continue to see Joshua a few times per year, whenever I've done something to myself to cause some muscle or joint pain, or just for a "tune up". I highly recommend Joshua and his practice to anyone looking to find relief from muscle and joint body pains . .... David

Fantastic experience: I have been in pain for years, never going to a Chiropractor and I'm in my late 40's. After the first session, I felt incredible! Sleeped sound for the first time in years and my shoulder, lower back and neck pain was almost gone! I highly recommend this and will continue to go for maintenance as needed.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I have been seeing Dr. Stehmeier for around 8 years, and his NUCCA method, combined with Active Release Therapy and traditional chiropractic adjustments when necessary, has been the best chiropractic experience we have ever had. Other chiropractors we've had typically do more forceful adjustments, have lots of talk about subluxations, and expect you to come back to see them very often, sometimes multiple times a week or at least once a week. Our experience with other chiropractors left us sometimes in more pain and having to spend more on therapies that ended up ineffective. With Josh's gentle but highly effective NUCCA adjustments in the neck area, we were able to feel well adjusted and we wouldn't need adjustments but every month or so at the most. He does physical therapy as well as ART, and gives suggestions for effective stretches and exercises. Josh's friendly demeanour helps him quickly build rapport with his clients and he is a movie buff, so it is pleasant to talk about movies or other subjects as he is a good conversationalist. Overall, we unreservedly recommend Dr. Stehmeier and wish him the best at his new West Kelowna location.
