Fantastic experience: Dr Bowness and her team are always professional and friendly. Even when I've come in tired & a bit grumpy after a long shift, they've been understanding. You may have to park at the back lot during busier times. It's not that far. Look at it as a good thing. We all need to move our body more.

Negative experience: *male massage worker being unprofessional and bringing up a previous match in tinder* * continuous neglect of keeping a safe environment * I’ve been coming to Structure, Spine and Sport since about February 2023. In about my third visit, there was a male massage worker who, was massaging my back. As I was faced down in a vulnerable position, he asked me a question regarding my child and I thought it was about the effects of me carrying her, but instead he told me he had matched me on Tinder and recognized me. I felt like I went from being in a professional setting, where I had a professional working on me, to having a an unknown tinder date with his hands on me while I was face down in a vulnerable position. I nervously laughed it off, but I felt really uncomfortable with it. I eventually called SSS and made them aware of the situation as I felt very scared and uncomfortable with what had happened. I was clearly upset and was crying. I was reassured that it wouldn’t happen again, my safety is their priority, and that they would have to talk to the guy because he had to know. They encouraged me to rebook, ensuring he wouldn’t be working on me and that me feeling safe was top priority. I rebooked, and when I returned, I was very anxious as the guy was there and knew that I made the complaint about the situation, but he didn’t talk to me or come near me, so I felt okay. A few visits later, I was going in, and the same guy walked me to the table and was preparing me with a hot towel, and I was terrified because I thought he was going to be working on me. And I recall looking out for help because I was terrified and we made the arrangement that he wouldn’t be working on me. The guy put the towel on me and continued working on other people, and someone else came to massage me. I spoke to reception about the incident afterwards, and I was kind of faced with an almost “annoyed” reaction, and they said, “oh we have a note that says you don’t want him working on you. He can’t bring you a towel either?”. I felt kinda hurt with that response because I trusted them to be in my corner and protect my sense of safety, but their response made me feel like I was being the difficult one. I stopped going for a few months and returned again recently, and when I arrived for my appointment, the guy was referred to take care of me and make sure the room was clean for when I go to meet with the chiropractor. Idk if the guy remembers me, but I remember him and am scared to be around him because I told his boss on him essentially. Anyways, I was put in unsafe situations, and as a survivor of SV already, I was terrified. I was then assured my safety and encouraged to return, but my safety wasn’t and hasn’t been taken seriously. For these reasons, I don’t recommend and will not be returning.

Fantastic experience: I've been coming to the clinic for 5 years and it's been a world of difference. I appreciate all the staff and a big shout out to Anne and Deborah the Massage Therapist. They provide good patient centered care and leave feeling pain free and relaxed.

Negative experience: I was happy there for my 1st 10 visits. But then last week went back n oh boy what a change. It was just awful. Last time ever.i have a real bad knee and was told to park away out back n walk. Never again. From nice to b in one visit.....

Fantastic experience: I really like Dr. Anne and her whole team; they've been fixing me up for years now, between martial arts injuries and general office-worker malaise. Come for the chiro, stay for the laughter and the adorable office dogs.

Fantastic experience: Very professional and thorough practice. Spent the time to assess me and listen to my concerns and experiences pertaining to the reason for my visit. Also gave me exercises and stretches to do at home so that I can maintain the adjustments that Dr. Bowness made.

Fantastic experience: As a hairstylist, massage becomes a "need", not a "want". For a long time I struggled to find an RMT that would leave me with long lasting relief from my shoulder pain. That was until I met Keith! He is super knowledgeable and is a great conversationalist. He is not afraid to dig in and make it "hurt" in a good way! I can finally say I have found an RMT in North Bay that I experience the positive effects of a massage for days afterwards. So happy!

Fantastic experience: Thank you Dr. Anne Bowness! After years of pain in my hips and feeling frozen, Dr. Anne has gotten me moving again. During the assessment appointment, she took the time to investigate my current condition thoroughly, she listened to my personal issues and then explained the process and the steps she was going to take very completely and patiently. I don’t trust people very easily but her positive attitude and patience won me over and am I glad that I trusted her! I have followed her treatment plan which included several adjustments and an exercise plan. Dr. Anne is very thorough and professional, yet positive and friendly - not always an easy balance to achieve. Her office is very welcoming which includes her dog Mercury (I love dogs). The whole experience did NOT feel like going to a cold, sterile treatment clinic at all. I highly recommend Dr. Anne Bowness.
