Fantastic experience: Thrive provides a holistic experience of superior care. The two chiropractors work seamlessly offering more time slots. And bith are excellent. I have received chiropractic care from variety of fractional for over 20 years and Thrive are some of the best.

Negative experience: Not a good experience. They use a different technique that was not at all effective. Nice people but I getting up leaving more hurt than when I walked in. I tried mentioning some issues I was having and I felt like they just ignored me. They just the usual routine and moved on. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: Kim and Devika are amazing practitioners. They are both so thorough and caring, and they get results! I honestly thought that my neck was beyond repair when I first went to them a few years ago, having been to physiotherapists, osteopaths, massage therapists, etc. (all of whom were great at what they do, but it wasn't what I needed). After a few sessions, I was able to actually look over my shoulder - something that I hadn't done in what seemed like forever. Now I go about once a month for maintenance (I can feel the tension creep up if I don't). The adjustments are quick, affordable, and easy to book. I can't recommend Kim and Devika enough!!

Fantastic experience: I still can’t believe it’s only been a month since I started coming here. I had been living with severe back pain and constant discomfort that shaped every part of my day. With scoliosis an actual S-curve in my spine I never imagined I’d feel this much improvement so quickly. Now I walk with ease, I’m more flexible, the back pain has disappeared, and I even regained full sensation in my left leg (I didn’t realize I’d lost it until it came back!). I haven’t done a follow-up MRI yet, but I can clearly feel the change in my posture and spine alignment. Dr. Devika has been treating me, and both she and her husband Dr. Kim are incredibly friendly, professional, and experienced in a way that truly transforms lives. I wholeheartedly recommend them.

Negative experience: After his visit yesterday, my friend had a conversation with me about his experience. He was pretty sure there was something fishy with all the 5-star reviews, but he decided to give the place the benefit of the doubt. ​Well, this morning brought a fun little surprise. We found that after his review was posted 14 hours ago, the business suddenly received a staggering five new reviews overnight, all posted around 4 a.m., all with five stars, and all incredibly well-written. It's almost as if a team of professional ghostwriters was working the graveyard shift. ​We did a little digging, and it gets better. It turns out every single one of these new reviewers has a history of reviewing businesses... in Auckland, New Zealand. ​You can see this for yourself by simply sorting the reviews by "Newest," clicking on any of the profiles, and looking at their contribution history. ​Now, unless a tour bus of chiro-loving kiwis flew halfway across the world, got a series of mind-blowing treatments in the dead of night, and then immediately posted glowing reviews, something is definitely suspicious. ​It's truly sad that a business can't handle a little customer feedback and has to resort to such... creative... marketing. We've collected the proof and screenshots, and I've advised my friend to report this to the College of Chiropractors of Ontario and the Competition Bureau of Canada

Negative experience: Please read and judge for yourself. ​My decision to seek chiropractic care here was influenced by an unusually high number of positive reviews for this business—102 total, to be exact. What stood out, however, was a striking lack of variation: only four reviews were from the past year, and out of all 102, just one was not a five-star rating, and that review was from two years ago. Furthermore, the bulk of these reviewers had a history of exclusively giving five-star reviews to various businesses. Despite my skepticism regarding the near-perfect score, I decided to give the business a chance, hoping the glowing, essay-like testimonials about "life-changing experiences" were genuine. ​The initial consultation lasted for an hour, during which the practitioner performed a series of tests. I found the process to be cursory; he barely made contact, literally using only the tip of his finger, and even used the Wartenburg pinwheel over my thick pants, which seemed to undermine the purpose of the tool. The majority of the session was spent on questioning. At the end of the hour, he concluded that I had no major issues and decided he would not make any adjustment. He then added that they "always do X-rays before any adjustment" and, of course, the famous "it is covered by OHIP." -Why not overwhelm the health system with requisitions?.. This was a profoundly disappointing outcome, particularly after having been led to believe I would receive a thorough examination and potential treatment. I later discovered that my experience closely mirrored the one lone, non-five-star review for the business. ​Only to find out upon returning home that I had been charged an additional $40+ for the X-ray request. This fee was never mentioned during the consultation. When I raised the issue, the practitioner's response was simply, "we agree to disagree," which I found to be both unprofessional and dismissive. ​The moral of my story is this: if a business has a flawless, five-star rating across the board with a high volume of reviews, each an extensive essay about a life-changing experience, it might be wise to conduct a more thorough research. I hope this feedback will be taken into consideration in a constructive manner.

Fantastic experience: I was visiting Kingston and experienced an issue requiring chiropractic intervention. I phoned so many places and either didn’t have my call answered or was told no one had time to see me. I was about to give up when Thrive Chiropractic answered my call. I was delighted to be offered a same day appointment to see Dr Kim. I can’t say enough about how thorough and helpful Dr Kim’s treatment was. He took great care to listen to my condition and to complete testing to ensure the adjustment would be beneficial. Fantastic experience: I have had an amazing experience here at Thrive Chiropractic. I’ve been coming here for about two and a half years now and have gotten to know Dr. Kim and Dr. Devika. They’re both so nice and welcoming, and they truly care about their clients’ well being and are pleasant to converse with as you get your adjustments. They are immensely patient and knowledgeable, willing to explain any and all questions you may have during your adjustment. It’s extremely amazing that my nerve pain has significantly reduced from these sessions. My initial visit for an assessment was standard, but I also felt cared for. Although I had desperately wanted an adjustment right there and then, I am glad that they did not proceed with the adjustment until they were sure of my x-ray results (which turns out I have a mild case of scoliosis). I appreciate the patience and protocol they took to ensure my comfort and safety. The follow up assessment included a review of the assessment results and we went over my x-ray results together before proceeding with the adjustment. That first adjustment probably left me feeling better than I had ever before. Since then, I have been going monthly, at my own pace as I need the adjustments for maintenance. I have noticed a significantly improvement in my physical health ever since visiting Thrive. I’m only here in Kingston for school, and now that it is coming to an end, I will miss Thrive and the people who make it all possible. Fantastic experience: Dr Devika and Dr Kim are warm, kind and friendly chiropractors. I saw them every 1-2 weeks throughout my second pregnancy. The adjustments were so helpful for all the aches and pains of pregnancy, especially lower back tension, round ligament pain, and pelvic girdle pain, and to prepare my body and pelvis for labour and birth. I would not have survived pregnancy without them! I continued having adjustments from 4 weeks postpartum which helped my body recover and realign. I love going in to see them now for monthly adjustments to keep my body well and aligned. The clinic is in a great location downtown with lots of nearby parking.

Negative experience: After spending $75.00 did not even get the problem solved and did not get adjusted, which is what I needed. After attending 4 different chiropractors over my life and each one having a good experience and adjustments this was the worst place until terms of needing an adjustment and not getting one. I understand that a consultation is required, but even after still no adjustment?! Unacceptable in my opinion and just a money grabber at the end of the day. Will not be returning. If you need an adjustment go to Kings Town Chiropractic life. They actually adjust you within the first consultation and for a reasonable price that doesn’t waste an hour and a half of your time.

Fantastic experience: Finding a new chiropractor can be intimidating sometimes especially if you’ve been going to the same one for over ten years - but I’m really happy I went with Thrive! We went through a very in-depth assessment before any hands on work. They use a very holistic approach to the body as well. The home care is great and very practical (everyone do your home care if you wish to heal) The adjustments aren’t just cookie cutter either! All around great! I never had a chiropractor take the time to actually diagnose the root issue for my back and neck pain until Thrive. I used to have back pain that would take out my legs at least once a week, have not had that happen since roughly my 3rd sessions with Dr. Kim. Fantastic experience: I have suffered from severe neck pain for several years, and migraines my entire life. I often would go for a massage to help alleviate some of my pain, but it would only give me temporary relief. When I finally decided to try a chiropractor I was VERY nervous! The thought of someone bending, twisting, and cracking my bones was terrifying! To be honest, I randomly chose Thrive based off availability and location. I couldn't be happier. Dr. Kim and Dr. Devika are the nicest, most welcoming people I have ever met. Dr. Kim was great at explaining the whole process with me in depth. I was that nervous! He would not do an adjustment until he had a full work up with x-rays (x-rays were free, and Dr. Kim scheduled the appointment for me - EASY PEASY), and I can confidently say I have never felt better. My insurance company picked a facility that had massage, acupuncture and physiotherapy to start my treatment. Anyone who knows, knows that you aren't allowed to switch facilities and I was kind of forced to go there even though I asked to get approved at Thrive. I was experiencing severe problems with my neck a day before exams and Dr. Kim recognized my emergency/panic and fit me into his schedule on short notice.
