Fantastic experience: Helen at The Well is the best massage therapist

Negative experience: I had a great experience with my therapists at the Well location, Fahimeh for massage and Yashika for physio. Both were professional and very helpful with my pain management. My first two appointments were direct billed to my insurance without any issues. After that, direct billing suddenly stopped. When I asked why, I was told it was an insurance issue and that I would need to contact my insurer. After speaking with my insurance company, I was informed that direct billing was still available and that it was up to the provider to submit the claim directly. When I came back to ask for clarification, I received no clear explanation and felt brushed off and unsupported. Because of the lack of clarity and the unhelpful response, I cancelled my future appointments. It’s unfortunate because the therapists were excellent, but the front desk experience is why I’m not returning.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to HealthOne Rehab for physiotherapy on a weekly basis since the end of March to treat persistent lower back pain and a recent knee injury. My physio, Kevin Cheng, did an excellent job of assessing my injuries and working with me to build an exercise plan for me to use at home, which is helping me rehab and improved my form when working out. He is very knowledgeable and provides advice that is genuinely useful. My back injury has been a recurring problem for a couple of years now, but with Kevin’s help, I’ve been seeing improvement and I’m feeling positive about the long-term plan. I’d strongly recommend Kevin and the HealthOne Rehab team to anyone looking for effective, evidence-based physiotherapy.

Negative experience: I would add a rating of ZERO if I could. Probably the worst health care professional / clinic I have been to, treatment was awful, if you want to waste your time & money, book with Tayla Spokes ; came in for my appointment just to have it automatically cancelled after arriving, without any notice or reasoning. Do you guys have any regard for people’s time? Complete lack of basic etiquette, seems like they only care about your insurance money, not your wellbeing.

Fantastic experience: Najla is amazing! Super knowledgeable and gives 100% every session. It can hurt a bit, but the results are totally worth it. Highly recommend her for massage. For chiro, Dr. Therese is super professional and really knows her stuff. I always feel great after her neck and back adjustments. She's also certified in acupuncture which is a bonus!

Fantastic experience: I've started going to HealthOne Rehab since late last year, and I have a few shoutouts! I've been seeing Dr. Mary (Therese) Greencorn for chiropractic appointments, and she's wonderful! Very attentive and knowledgeable, with great recommendations on improving posture and overall body alignment. Some of her advice has really stuck with me - like creating a makeshift lumbar support for my lower back on flights using a jacket or blanket, which has been a game-changer! Her adjustments are always on point, and I've also enjoyed the acupuncture and soft tissue therapy she's done during sessions. Always leave feeling better, and I can't wait to see her again! I’ve also had a few massage sessions with Najla and she’s absolutely fantastic. She’s knowledgeable and clearly well-trained — you can tell she understands the body and how to target problem areas effectively. She’s not afraid to apply firm pressure to work out knots, and gives sound advice on what I should keep an eye out for. Highly recommend her if you’re looking for someone who knows what they’re doing and genuinely cares about helping you improve.

Fantastic experience: I started with Tess Grootscholten over a year ago for chronic back pain. Tess was great at alleviating pain during visits and also providing targeted and effective exercises for dealing with the issue. I then injured my leg a few months ago and Tess was able to quickly pivot my program and I have made a full recovery in only a few short months. Tess is also easy to work with, friendly, and understanding, which makes her an ideal physiotherapist.

Negative experience: This place is a scam. I was feeling awful so I went in and asked for an appointment. They allowed me to make an appointment without confirming if they took my insurance. By the time I was seen by the doctor I was told they do not take my insurance and I would be paying out of pocket. I was in so much pain I decided to just pay. My throat was hurting so she took a swab of my throat. I also asked for full std testing. The doctor recommended we wait TWO DAYS for the results to come back before she gave me any meds for my throat. My appointment was on 6/24. I did not receive a call or email about my results until 7/9. I called on a daily basis to get my results and they never answered. I finally sent a stern email and was called back. I was told the strep and std results were negative which is why I didn’t get a call back. I have been miserable, missed work and I’m still sick!! Now they are saying I would have to pay to come in again in order to speak to the doctor. They also neglected to test for HIV. I ASKED FOR FULL TESTING. They are saying I would have to pay again for that test. This is a money grab and awful service. I am so disappointed. This place is a joke. Don’t come here.
Fantastic experience: Tess is great! She helped me understand and fix my lower back pain, adjust my breathing, with broad knowledge and release skills. Would return to her whenever I have physiotherapy needs. My partner also saw Tess for shoulder stability issues, and he's improving fast with the exercises Tess recommended.

Fantastic experience: Midlife means keeping tabs on your health—just making sure all the essential parts are still running fine. Did a round of research on check-up clinics and ended up going to LifeLabs at The Well for some bloodwork. You can book online, but walk-ins seem fine too—only waited 5 minutes that day. The nurses were all super skilled, everything was clean, efficient, and felt private.

Negative experience: Avoid dr. Mary Greencorn at all cost. I’ve been needing massages for over a decade, and I want to leverage my massage customer experience to warn other well meaning customers who just want to recover from the stiffness of intensive labor stress with their hard earned benefits. For the entire 60minutes for which I was over charged a ridiculous amount, she did………… Nothing. I swear. There was zero massage. She may have lightly rubbed one side of my back, which - I cannot believe this - takes an HOuR! She forgot my other side. She told me “I’m done” and that “I might experience soreness” I don’t know what reaction to have towards such incompetence, so I just laughed. Don’t waste your time and money on someone who don’t delivers. This was a one time waste but it will not be a reoccurring mistake! Edit: re. response to the health one “owner” (below) - I noted that you were quick to question my records for my critical reviews, but not for my glowing or positive reviews towards your physicians (both are excellent from start to finish). Based on this, your masseuse need training on how to deliver value for money services and study from a variety of Asian spas who understand how to target pressure points, etc. I’m not sure where Greencorn got her license but I’m 100% sure she is not a real chiropractor.

Fantastic experience: Kevin Cheng is an amazing physiotherapist. He gave a very thorough and detailed diagnosis and went above and beyond to create a holistic treatment plan that not only addresses the symptoms of my discomfort, but also help me station my rehab exercises at home and follow up on other likely root causes of the problem with other specialists. He is so knowledgeable about the human body, he can competently pinpoint all the posture and habitual movement problems that causes neck and foot discomfort. The level of attention and care that he exhibits towards his patients is nothing I’ve ever seen in other doctors. I feel quite lucky lately to have found Kevin Cheng. Will 100% come back for future consultations.

Negative experience: If I could say just one thing about this place, it would be: run away. My story in this place would make a book. If you are going to have any dental treatment, I strongly recommend that you look for other clinics in the city.

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience at HealthOne Rehab! From the first check in the Front Desk Staff create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. They are knowledgable and are happy to help your with your questions or concerns. I had some back pain addressed by Dr. Greencorn (chiro) and Amir, RMT. Both practitioners performed thorough assessment and established a treatment that fit me goals and needs. I am truly feeling much better! I could not recommend HealthOne services more!
