Fantastic experience: My first time going for physiotherapy after injuring my shoulder and my lower back and hip and I am so glad that I went to PhysioGougeon. Stephane explained, to me clearly what my injury was and what steps we would take. Each visit he showed me an exercise and explained why and what the exercise would do to help heal my injury. As well he provided me with a link to a web page - so I could review the exercise to ensure that I was doing it correctly from home. Excellent friendly staff and service, I highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: When I was diagnosed with Bell's Palsy, I contacted PhysioGougeon to inquire about possible services to help me regain control of my facial muscles. I was given a first appointment within a day, which I appreciated a whole lot. Stephane was very knowledgeable and explained what he could do to help me out. He also explained that the treatments could improve my symptoms but was also very realistic about the fact that "time" might be my best ally. I attended 4 appointments for facial massages and acupuncture. At the beginning of every appointment, Stephane evaluated my progression using a rating scale so it was kind of cool to see the progress over time. After my 4th appointment, Stephane informed me that as a physiotherapist, he had done all that he could do so there were no unnecessary appointments. I would 100% recommend this clinic.

I saw Alex at physio Gougeon 6 weeks post surgery for a torn Achilles. Fantastic experience: I have had a tremendous amount of help from Stephan and his team. He got me moving 10 years ago after knee replacement surgery when physio at the Ottawa Hospital told me there was nothing they could do for me - he's helped keep me moving ever since by assisting me with back issues, plantar fasciitis, a second knee replacement etc. I keep him on speed dial.

Fantastic experience: Having played a lot of sports, I've had to visit quite a lot of physiotherapist. PhysioGougeon is one of the rare ones that will diagnose the issue, find the root cause, and not only fix the problem but also provide you with a lot of information on how to prevent or strengthen other parts that may have helped to prevent the injury in the first place. The owner, Stephane, is truly passionate about Physiotherapy and really takes care of his clients. I've also been treated by Alex, which was extremely knowledgeable and follows Stephane's approach to client care. I will always go back to this Physiotherapy clinic.

Fantastic experience: The Gougeon team has been outstanding! I have been with Stephane Gougeon, since he opened and they have all provided me the best care and advice. I recently had a knee replacement and had range of motion limitations and also was discouraged with my rehabilitation. Alex was great, he ensured I was doing the right exercises and encouraged me not to give up, just keep up with my exercise regime and eventually things will get better and to date I feel much better! The atmosphere at the office was always relaxing and the receptionist was always pleasant and jovial! Thank you folks, you ROCK!

Fantastic experience: Very happy with the service and the staff. From the minute I walked through the door I felt welcomed. Alex took great care of me. I had a very bad case of tennis elbow and over a course of roughly six weeks his treatment, and assigned home exercises did the trick. I highly recommend going here if you are looking for physio, professionalism, and some good conversations and laughs. Fantastic experience: I've had some chronic and acute issues over the years, and Stephane has taken the time to carefully (and repeatedly) address my issues. His mannerisms and techniques are not about getting a high volume through the door, or to create a forever-cycle of physiotherapy to generate income; Rather, he focuses on getting you well. If he can't help you (either because physiotherapy is not the right solution or because of your own limitations), he is completely honest and not looking to prolong your visits - he wants to see positive results for you - and that satisfaction is what keeps me returning when I have issues. He focuses on quality of life and getting back to normal. Highly recommended if you are willing to get to the root of your problems and do the work necessary to get well.

Fantastic experience: I was a bit apprehensive to do virtual sessions, but I was in a lot of pain and pretty desperate for help. It turned out to be such an easy process, and effective means of treating my pain. After my first 1 hour virtual sessions, I felt such relief, as Stephane was able to narrow down the relative cause of my pain and provide me with the knowledge, as well as, exercises to alleviate/treat the cause my pain. I ended up seeing my doctor in person after my first session with Stephane, and without initially providing my doctor with Stephane's assessment results, he also came to the same conclusion. I already had confidence in Stephane's assessment, but my doctor's feedback was great reassurance--two heads are better than one! My pain started in my hip and tailbone. About 2 days after seeing Stephane, I was already seeing pretty big improvements. Roughly 4 days later, my tailbone pain is gone and my hip pain is half of what it was when I first met with Stephane. Still a work in progress, but I'm beyond happy with the experience and results so far. I would highly recommend PhysioGougeon to anyone struggling with any issues. The virtual session, in my opinion, was just as good as meeting in-person.
