The rest of staff there are great and although we don’t see Dr. Dana or Dr. Austin ourselves they’re always there smiling and saying hi as well . Dr.Jamie has worked a lot of the tension out of my babies neck , she was very stiff and stuck for quite awhile and everytime we see Dr. Jamie my girl is much better after .

Expérience négative: I've been sitting on this review for several months since a) my first instinct is to always support a small business, and b) my experience with Dr. Austin and Wildseed was initially good. However, I do think it is important that I share my experience incase others encounter similar challenges. I first met Dr. Austin when he was practicing at Whitemud Crossing Chiropractors and was very satisfied with his adjustments, so when Wildseed opened, I continued to see Dr. Austin as my chiropractor despite the 20-25 minute drive. Over time I started to notice a few things that would repeatedly come up during my visits: - I would share my experience of pain in my lower back and describe exercises where my back felt best (ex. deadlifts), which Dr. Austin would repeatedly invalidate by telling me that spines were meant to do cross-lateral movements only while demonstrating a variety of exercises that he deemed more suitable. I tried some of his suggestions and some actually caused me more pain, and none left my back feeling as relieved, strong, and stable as the exercises I had identified for Dr. Austin. When I provided him with this feedback, he proceeded to ask about my form, tell me I was doing them incorrectly, and continued to assert that his suggestions were most appropriate so long as I executed them the right way. - Horseback riding is one of my passions and while Dr. Austin would kindly ask how lessons were going, almost every visit to the clinic included a comment about how horseback riding "was so hard on [my] back." Comments like this never felt supportive. They only felt critical and limiting when I was seeking paramedical care to support my interests and passions, not to be criticized about them or instructed to approach them differently. - The pain in my lower back is chronic and has been ongoing for several years despite seeking rehabilitation, especially in the last few years after I gained benefits coverage. As a next step in my care, I chose to visit my physiotherapist who has been treating my injuries since I was 12. He has provided rehabilitation to me when I was a competitive snowboarder traveling and training year round, after I fell off a cliff while hiking and sustained severe blunt trauma injuries, after I was T-boned in an intersection, and through all my other interest like Yoga, MMA, long-distance running, etc. When I shared my care plan that my physiotherapist and I had agreed upon with Dr. Austin, he immediately refuted the preliminary diagnoses that my physiotherapist provided as well as the next steps we were taking. My physiotherapist spent two hours with me, and in less than 10 minutes Dr. Austin started making claims about what I was actually experiencing in my lower back while using peripheral comments I had made (ex. that sometimes bending forward would cause discomfort) to substantiate his unfounded prognoses. In sum, I consistently felt that my deeply personal experiences of my own pain and progress were not included in the conversation, if not entirely disregarded; that Dr. Austin, however well meaning, frequently used language that discouraged me from accessing care to enhance my life rather than diminish it; and that he was uninterested in being an equal and collaborative member of my care team when I shared their insights with him. Additionally, I did get a bone scan and Dr. Austin could not have been more incorrect when he claimed that I have a disc related issue - I have arthritis in my sacroiliac joints. Dr. Austin also texted me in April, after an interaction with another client, to acknowledge that everyone's path to feeling good is different. He referred to statements I had made about my back feeling better while squatting...except I never did. Squats absolutely kill my back, its deadlifts that help. I used to say to Dr. Austin that "this is my body and I will do what I know is best for my body," but I guess this statement just never landed. P. S. Some of the reviews for this clinic are unfounded since they incentivize reviews by discounting treatments.

I used to be terrified of the chiropractor as I had heard so many horror stories of improper adjustments but Dr. J has worked with me slowly, patiently and my comfort levels. She's gained my trust and I'm not as hesitant when we work on a new area.

Expérience fantastique: I've been coming to Wildseed for about 4-5 months for chronic lower back pain. I've been seeing Doctor Austin and he's been really thorough to explain what's happening to my body, and what the end game is. Altho progress FEELS slow, there's a definite difference in range of movement and my sleep quality (from less pain). Having seen other chiro practitioners, coming to this clinic has been the best experience by far, plus everyone here is so warm and caring.

I appreciate in general how professional and personal she has been. I also appreciate the level of data that they gather before doing any adjustments on you. They had me go for x-rays and did three other tests to determine what needs to be worked on rather than just simply guessing or going by feel. Also, I appreciate that Dr. Dana walked through the consent form with me and went through each bullet point rather than just asking me to sign some random release of liability agreement. Kailey (sorry if I spelled it wrong) the receptionist is also very kind and personable. Great place!

Seeing as how the other office was much closer to our home I think our decision to stick with her speaks pretty highly of her. Aside from being personable, and having created such a welcoming space at Wild Seed, Dr Dana's care is extremely indepth. She's intuitive, so friendly, and fixes so many of my issues! Headaches, digestion, cramps, hips, back, even my sinuses! I'm always impressed with how I feel after a session and am always in awe of how much she can assist with. I also appreciate her suggestions on exercises to help some of my underlying causes that have ultimately gotten rid of my issue. Love this place!

Expérience fantastique: I've been seeing Dr. Austin for over 2 years now and I'm very happy with the treatment I've been getting from him. I've been to many chiropractors in the past for chronic pain and he's the first dr that I've stayed with. He is kind and patient and is always giving me information about my body/xrays and always listens and acknowledges the areas of pain or discomfort that I have. He doesn't give me the conveyor belt treatment of "Crack Crack. Thanks, see you next time". He actually listens and explains why my body feels the way it does and will never let me leave the table until I feel like I got the adjustment I needed that day. I fully respect and admire the attention and care he gives to me and all of his other patients. If you're apprehensive about chiropractic treatment, I would highly recommend Dr. Austin or anyone on the Wildseed team.

Expérience fantastique: My go-to chiropractic clinic! Dr. Jamie understands the needs of athletes and ably adjusts my equestrian family member. The artist in the family, who struggles with the impacts of carrying heavy portfolios and equipment, also finds Dr. Jamie’s adjustments are spot on. Dr. Jamie is ably helping me to get a handle on some long term problems with pain. The staff are welcoming and helpful and the clinic is light and feels very safe. Excellent parking options as well. I highly recommend the chiropractors, staff and clinic.

Expérience fantastique: I was seeing Dr. Dana at her old office for prenatal adjustments, and I decided to follow her to Wildseed because I found her very knowledgeable and personable! I appreciate that her approach is very holistic and looks at how the whole body works together. Both my baby and toddler see her as well, and my toddler is always excited to come visit (mostly for the fun play area, but dr. Dana and Kayleigh’s stickers are a close 2nd). The whole team is very friendly, and we love that the space is very inviting and has an open concept so my daughter can play while I get adjusted!

I had lower back pain for over a year(kinda), it really affected me a lot when I was sitting or more, but when I first came to this place, the environment felt safe and sweet, as they showed me what was happening in my body and how I can also fix the problem myself too, they are also helping my mother too, she said that sometimes she feels a relief in her body, and so do I. I have felt no pain since they started treating me, I also like how they care for you out of your health, like if you're travelling somewhere, or if you have pets, etc. I truly recommend this, not only for the amazing staff and medical work they give but also because of how caring they are for their patients.
