Not only did they find the reason but they helped with my pain which has been drastically reduced if not completely gone all together. All the staff is friendly, welcoming and very professional. Everytime I walk in the door I am meant with a smile and greeting. I highly recommend to anyone suffering any pain or discomfort. They will fix you right up and help with the healing process.

Expérience négative: I only gave this place one star because this place is only interested in taking your money. They were very quick to give me an MRI and that was great. This is why they got the one star. I attended the clinic and saw Dr Goldhawk for some herniated discs. This was one of two times I saw Dr Goldhawk over the two month span. The second time was not related to my spine. I attended approximately 5 days per week for almost two months. Everyday they hooked me up on the decompression machine and took my money. They told me to not to do anything but rest and booked me off work, which did not make it better. During my time attending for the decompression I saw the physio person 3-5 times for ten minutes each. The person who hooked me up to the decompression machine had ZERO medical training. When I had run out of funds I advised them I had two seek some other help from another chiropractor at which point they cancelled my Upcoming Dr appointment with Dr Fern. I was then told Dr Fern would not see me if I did not use his clinic. I had to see another spinal doctor to allow me to go back to work. I don’t understand how this place has a high rating because when I was there I met several patients who had spent several thousands of dollars and received no relief.

Expérience fantastique: The Durham Spinal decompression has changed my life, With many years of living in pain and going to many different treatments like physio, Chiro, acupuncture helping me temporarily I never thought I could get back to my normal life without pain. Being 35years old having twin girls that are 7 and not being able to experience many things due to the spine issues and pain in my lower back, this place is beyond exceptional the staff are more like family they make the experience itself much easier. Such a supportive team they have with amazing doctors overlooking the treatments. I am ever so grateful to have found them and would completely recommend it to anyone that feels like there isn’t an option. This place is worth the shot and I’m so glad I did it ! Expérience fantastique: I started going to Durham Spinal Decompression Centre in August 2014. When I started, I was bent over 90 degrees and in extreme pain. I was using a walker and a shower chair. After 3 months of decompression, I was upright and walking on my own. I am still going for maintenance every 2 weeks for my back and it has helped immensely. I have even started getting maintenance on a herniated disk in my neck that I have struggled with for many years. I consider myself their mascot. Expérience fantastique: When I came to Durham Spinal Decompression in April of 2019 I was in pretty bad shape suffering from back pain flare ups that made it difficult to walk stand, sit and live normally. I went to numerous chiro and physio clinics over 4 years and no one was able to help me like Dr. Mary and her team. She was the one and only Dr to send me to a get an MRI for my back pain which was a huge deal. It gave me so many answers as to why I had this dreadful reoccurring back pain. They were able to set me up on a 6 week treatment plan to help my targeted area, which was something I never got from the other clinics. Sandy made my experience absolutely wonderful. I was off work for 6 weeks waking up at 6am to get treatment but I enjoyed going in to just be able to chat with her. She has a heart of gold and is a person who truly cares about your healing. She was so careful with putting me on and off the table and took her time to make sure I was comfortable and not in pain. Sandy is just incredible at what she does. I don't know anyone who is as happy and positive as Sandy at 6am in the morning but she truly made my day everyday I saw her. Thank you for just being an amazing human being Sandy! Riza was great as well! A wonderful person and physio therapist who listened to my concerns and was very careful when it came to my healing. Dr Mary and her team truly care about you and they have the equipment and experience to help you heal. After my treatment I had no issues. After almost a year of trying to get pregnant, I got pregnant 2 months after my treatment plan ended. How I saw it was that my body and back needed to heal before I could carry a child and Dr. Mary and her team did that for me. I have a beautiful healthy 1 year old son and there is not enough thank yous for all you have done for my world. If you couldn't tell already, I HIGHLY recommend you give them a visit, you have nothing to lose but everything to gain.

Since going through the initial protocol he has been back to normal, still goes once a month. I had a similar experience very recently and have had the same results. I started March 31, after years of dealing with cripling pain in back, legs and feet, headaches and absolutely no energy, I could only walk with the aid of a walker, I am now pain free and back to being able to do normal activities, energy levels are high and no need for pain meds. The staff are super nice and know what they are doing! I feel very fortunate to have found Dr. Mary Ann Goldhawk and her staff, they are very kind, compassionate, courteous, incredibly knowledgeable and very willing to try to work with me to come up with some sort of treatment schedule, they successfully corrected my three herniated discs in my lower back. Today I follow the maintenance program, I have a good life without pain. At the beginning of each session, I am comfortably fitted with a harness designed to achieve optimal decompression of the low back. The treatment process is safe and relaxing. Expérience fantastique: I had never had understood what back pain was all about until September 2016. I was in a hit and run accident which left me barely able to walk. I was referred to Durham Spinal by two of my friends that currently had been going for years to this clinic and kept telling me Laura you have to try it. I followed a treatment plan at that time of physio, massage, acupuncture you name it. It just wasn’t getting much better. So I remember showing up at The Decompression Centre and being greeted by Sandy and Tracy. They took the time to go through everything with me, I started the next day. Sandy continually reassured me and kept me on track as there was days in the beginning I wanted to give up. I remember laying on the table tears running down my face and not being able to walk. Very sceptical still. I Followed a treatment plan of going two three times a week for 4 years. I went from not being able to walk, sit, stand, lay down to being able to do these things again. Without them I don’t know where I would be as mentally it takes a toll on you. Going from laying in a dark room of despair to living again. While I still require continued treatment for pain management Durham Spinal and Dr. Goldhawk’s team remain to this day the best medical treatment solutions for me in managing my back injury. I was in rough shape about 8 years ago when I first started spinal decompression and after going through several weeks of treatment, my pain was gone and I was able to resume all my regular daily activities. I continue to have my monthly maintenance treatments and feel great. Everyone in the office is extremely knowledgeable, they make you feel comfortable and always have time to answer any questions you have.

Expérience fantastique: I have been a client/ patient of Durham Spinal Decompression clinic for many years now. When I first went to them I could barely walk. I couldn’t even turn my head from side to side and my herniated discs were in my lower back! After many a few weeks of intensive therapy, I was walking without pain. I had a re-injury that set me back but they were able to get me back on track quickly. Now, I got every few months just for maintenance. Herniated discs don’t ever go away. I can’t imagine the pain I would be in if is wasn’t for them! Thanks for giving me back my life. I am a nurse a Yoga instructor and I hike in the woods daily. Without Durham Spinal Decompression clinic, I wouldn’t be able to do any of these things.

Expérience fantastique: I had been suffering with back pain for months! I had tried chiropractic adjustments, massage, exercises, acupuncture. You name it, I had tried it. As a health care worker in the middle of the pandemic, work was very busy! I could not take time off to rest or heal, and was working 14 hour days. I finally got in for an MRI and was diagnosed with severe spinal stenosis caused by a bulged disc in my lower back. I still remember to this day when I discovered Durham Spinal Decompression Center. I was lying in bed, in tears, so fed up with the constant pain, and the lack of normality I was facing from the debilitating pain, googling like no other. There had to be SOMETHING out there that I hadn't tried. SOMETHING that would work. That is when I found the DSDC website and filled out an inquiry. Sandy was very prompt in getting back to me and scheduling me in for a consultation with Dr. Goldhawk. I went for my appointment and Dr. Goldhawk was very through on the procedure and what the clinic had to offer. She reviewed my MRI report, looked me in the eyes, and said "We can help!". This was the best news! I was able to start my therapy the very next day. It took some time, but I knew it would. We followed the plan, and just as outlined, my pain started to decrease. I still remember being able to stand in the shower for the first time in over a year!! Durham Spinal Decompression Centre gave me my life back! I had purchased many different message guns inversion tables and still found nothing worked. Decompression has changed my life, it allows me to function normal with a very physical job. Expérience fantastique: In 2019 I fell on my back which compressed my spine, the pain was so bad, I couldn’t even walk, stand or lay down, it was so bad, I went to the ER and they did a CT scan and they send me home with pain killers and the ER doctor told me I need spinal surgery. Next day I called Dr. Mary Ann Goldhawk at the Durham Spinal Decompression Centre in Whitby and show her my CT scan result and she start the decompression treatment right away. After 4 weeks I was able to walk with little pain and after 2 more weeks of treatment I was able to start working normally again, I am still coming back for maintenance decompression. Expérience fantastique: 15 yrs ago I had lower lumbar decompression, I was walking with a cane and multiple pain killers each day, my 10 week program ending with 100% pain relief , no cane and stopped all pain killers...I moved forward with a normal life and could not be happier... Her I am back as I was in a car accident and had upper C-Spine injury, once MRI and Dr. was on board I started upper spine decompression, after 1 week my extreme pain and headache were dramatically reversed, thanks to Dr. Goldhawk, Dr Fern, Sandy, Tracey, Jon, Jenn, Dr. Alykhan and all the amazing staff at DSDC...:)
