Fantastic experience: I called CBI and Net assisted me throughout my appointment. I had been experiencing back pain for the past few days, and she was incredibly helpful in guiding me through booking my appointment and setting up my insurance. Her friendly demeanor made the whole process smooth and stress-free. I then had an RMT session with Jason, and my back felt so much better afterward. Overall, I had an excellent experience at CBI and would highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: The receptionist (Net and Shama) are very nice, accomodating and respectful. Actually all the staff are very helpful, they know what they are doing. Justin is one of the best physiotherapist, he found the root cause of my pain in my elbow and neck. I am in the rehabilation right now, i can say i am on the right track towards healing, cant do it without the help of CBI abbotsford staff. Thank you very much

Negative experience: The occupational therapist Wasn't very good at understanding me. Definitely some grey areas from my CBI experience from Worksafe.

Fantastic experience: In August of 2022 I was injured at work left with a broken arm, tfcc needed to be repaired and my shoulder is still undergoing diagnosis. I had my wrist surgery in May of 2023 and started my physio at cbi mid June of 2023. Through a series of events I was paired with ash for my hand therapy, Taj, Justin and emily for physiotherapy for my shoulder. I found him ( ash) to be very explanatory, courteous, compassionate, sympathetic and professional. Although I'm not 100% on some of my ranges ill get there with the exercises he's given me. When i first started my HT with him i had no strength couldn't turn or bend my wrist much at all, now i have all of my ranges some better then others. He has gone above and beyond with everything he's done for me truly a fabulous person. I have and will continue to recommend his services. I started my physio with Taj! She is a quiet knowledgeable lady she was the first person to dry needle my shoulder! Her schedule and mine didn't work out too well so I started to see Justin!... that guy's like a book of nerve knowledge! I learnt alot of things from him included i couldn't feel parts of my body! ( NOT HIS FAULT!) Through working with him we found out that the depth of damage in my shoulder and neck was way more then we thought! Through my gradual return program I ended up having to see Emily which has been my long term physio therapist even though we are far from done with my shoulder she has been so much fun to work with and strengthening my whole body! Without the help guidance and support of all 4 of these people I would be a mess! Great full to have the opportunity to have you all as part of my team.

He helped me through a very difficult time and I cannot thank him enough. All the front staff are super friendly as well. All around great experience with exceptional results

Negative experience: Just found out that the insurance coverage for my wife for Hand Therapy was not covered by insurance, as they do not use licenced physiotherapists for hand therapy.

Fantastic experience: I've dealt with this place a cpl of times. The first time 8 years ago was not great, but this go around with my OT has been pretty cool. She's got a dry sense of humour, but has grown on me a bit. She's pretty good at her job.

Negative experience: Rude MOA who refused to ask someone else about a treatment I was inquiring about for my 11 year old. So, to get rid of me, she told me I needed to go have my daughter see my family doctor for a referral (not true as PT is private pay.) time in clinic: 2 minutes. I drove across town to Promotion Physiotherapy. Five stars there. Their MOA was unsure about the treatment I was seeking (gait analysis) but told me she would find out more information for me and turns out yes, totally something they can work on. Much friendlier staff who were willing to find a solution. No idea of the PT staff at CBI are any good but I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone based on their incompetent front desk staff. I actually work as an MOA in a PT clinic and would have reprimanded my staff if she behaved as the CBI MOA did.

Negative experience: Got a concussion a while back, got referred to CBI health 8 weeks ago even though I wasnt ready. I just finished the OR2 program, the Occupational Therapist never listened to a word I said and wrote reports believing I was ready to go back to work when I cant meet the demands for my job! I am now unemployed and still have lots of symptoms! When I was at the program i felt isolated and didnt get vestibular help when I was suppose to! Maybe concussions are the hardest to treat but I felt like this program was not the best for me and no one listened!

Fantastic experience: Great place for all your phyiso needs. Kind, professional staff with all the qualifications needed to help aid in your recover to get you moving in a safe and painless way, all with in a timely manner while keeping rehabilitation the main focus for physiotherapy which would be a full recovery. They except work place injuries through Worksafe B.C. and they work closely with the case mangers, employers, doctors and the surgeons. This physical therapy office has one goal, in a safe and timely manner while focusing on rehabilitation a back to work program, modified hours and or light duties and other programs or processes, to aid in the individual with their main and primary focus is full recovery .

Fantastic experience: This program is amazing, very helpful therapists. They make a set program for your exact injury and follow up with you pretty much daily. I seen Steve and I can hands down say this therapist is the best I have ever seen. He knows what spots are bothering you just by touch. If I could give him stars it would be 5 for sure. I can not say I am in not pain, in fact still am, but a lot better than when I came in. Thanks CBI and the team

Fantastic experience: Staff is skilled,caring and respectful so much personality you almost forget your there with an injury. Appointments were available to fit my schedule and support staff, after one visit addressing you by name on sight really shows how much they care

Negative experience: Going elsewhere for hand therapy. From my arrival, faced blatant unprofessionalism from staff. It's a bizarre contrast, the new, spacious offices and the junior high behavior. I used the ladies' room. A woman reached right in front of me at the sink for a paper towel with attitude and no, "Excuse me." Once seated, I realized she was one of the receptionists. She got busy talking loudly with a coworker about how glad they were the work day was coming to an end, too bad they have to work, and so on. Then, receptionist #3 (there were 4) spoke to a client on the phone. After hanging up, she made fun of the client to recep #4. Things didn't improve. I'd been told to arrive 15 mins. early to fill out paperwork. It wasn't complicated and only took 5 minutes. Then the recep said, "You could have filled this out online." Gee, thanks. So, I sat there listening to their childish conversations for nearly another 25 minutes, because the therapist was late. My hand therapist seemed to know her work, but when she went to another patient for 20 minutes while my hand was on a hot pack, she left the door wide open. In front of the door, she had a very intimate conversation with that patient. I listened to the details of him smashing his hand at work, the resultant infection, oozing pus, etc. Just awful, for both patients. No privacy, no respect. The therapist was kind of a sour, humorless and impatient person. When I asked how to deal with not using the injured hand for certain things, she suggested things that clearly would hurt my other injuries. I realized she hadn't read the medical form I'd arrived early to fill out. She tried to fit a splint for me, but didn't have my size. And it would take weeks to order it. So I ordered the splint from a US company, and drove to a Sumas shipping depot for it. Big hassle. It turned out that I needed a half size, when this splint is only manufactured in full sizes. The therapist could have just sized one she had in stock with Coflex/Vetrap or some other tape, as I had to do with the one I ordered. I paid $85 for this lovely experience at CBI. To add to the frustration, hand therapy is classified differently than physiotherapy, and medical plans don't pay any part of it! It's worth the trip to Vancouver, where you can find professionalism. I don't know if it's the CBI takeover of so many clinics, or if this is just how it's done in the area.
