Fantastic experience: I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in my late teens, and over the past twenty years I've developed increasingly complex chronic health needs. During that time, I've spent two decades searching for a massage therapist who truly understands how to work with a body like mine. I've seen some good massage therapists over the years, but none have come close to Barbara. After twenty years of searching, I can honestly say I've finally found my massage therapist. Barbara is, quite simply, a miracle worker. What truly sets Barbara apart is her extraordinary depth of knowledge, exceptional clinical reasoning, and clear communication. She has a remarkable understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, and how the body functions as an interconnected system. Rather than following a routine, she carefully assesses what's actually happening in your body, explains what she's finding, why she's choosing a particular technique, and how different muscles and structures are contributing to the problem. I never leave wondering what she did or why. I leave with a better understanding of my own body. One of the things I appreciate most is how well she adapts not only her treatment, but also her communication. I like to understand the why, so she's happy to explain the anatomy, what she's seeing, and what she's trying to accomplish. At the same time, she's just as happy to let clients relax in silence or chat about whatever they'd prefer. She really meets people where they're at, never one size fits all. Every treatment is thoughtfully individualized. Barbara takes the time to understand my specific health conditions, adapts her techniques to my body's needs and limitations, checks in throughout the session, and ensures I always feel comfortable and in control. Her communication is exceptional, and she creates an environment where I feel completely safe to relax and trust the process. What impresses me just as much is Barbara's professionalism and honesty. She never overpromises or presents massage as a miracle cure. Instead, she explains what she's trying to accomplish, why she's recommending a particular approach, and how it may help, while recognizing that every body responds differently. That combination of expertise, transparency, and realistic expectations has only strengthened my trust in her. My most recent appointment was for severe jaw pain. Barbara carefully assessed what was happening, explained how the muscles on one side were affecting the other, treated the underlying tension rather than just the painful area, and even taught me a few gentle techniques I could use at home. I left with dramatically improved jaw movement and a much better understanding of what my body was doing. Living with chronic pain has taught me how important trust is. When your body has been through a lot, feeling safe with the person treating you is not a luxury, it's essential. Barbara has an incredible ability to create that sense of safety. If you're looking for a massage therapist who combines exceptional technical expertise with genuine compassion, outstanding communication, and a truly individualized approach, I cannot recommend Barbara highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I suffered a whiplash injury in January 2026. Severe back and shoulder pain due to whiplash. The only thing that helped was the combination of physio, massage, and chiropractic services. Great staff that are kind and caring.

She has a no-nonsense approach to getting you back to feeling good in your body. She also does not believe in over-treating, she won't suggest you come in more than needed. Fantastic experience: I started with Chiro at Big Rock and after having total hip replacement, I started seeing Sarah for physio. Because I am still waiting for a total knee replacement, I have had some issues with the healing of my hip and Sarah has been amazing at working with me to get my body moving better. A difficult task considering the opposite knee is my problem. The past few weeks of seeing Sarah and her team for physio, I can say with certainty that they have worked some magic in making me feel better. The laughter and great conversation that comes with all the appointments are fantastic as well! I highly recommend.

Naomi nedeau was my massage therapist and she was so amazing I cried, i have never had someone massage me like they could read my muscles, she new exactly what I need it and how I need it. Fantastic experience: Over the past year or so I have been taking a conscious effort to take control of my physical health and wellbeing. The team at Big Rock have been instrumental in helping with old (and sometimes new) injures. Physio - Cannot recommend Dr Sarah enough, the treatment is helping me recover quicker, and stay out of pain. We have moved through some of my more pressing issues so quickly, that I'm now going through a laundry list. I'm seeing positive progress every week with the treatments. Chiro - Dr Tyler's extensive knowledge of sports therapy along with his adjustments have been fantastic. I've gone to other places and I felt they were very aggressive with my injuries, but here they treat me with lots of care. Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend PT Sarah enough! I came in struggling with frequent headaches along with neck and back pain, and the improvement I’ve experienced has been amazing. She used a combination of needling and other hands-on techniques that really targeted the root of the problem, not just the symptoms. Fantastic experience: We have loved the care that we have received through Big Rock Chiropractic. After an unexpected c-section and issues during my pregnancy, my body needed support through my postpartum recovery and my midwife suggested finding a chiropractor. Not only for myself, but my baby had a few issues including torticollis (which manifested in plagiocephaly and trouble breast feeding) and digestion problems which the team at Big Rock thought would be best to take a collaborative approach and add Sarah to our care team. Our family doctor also suggested that our baby attend physio in an attempt to help his plagiocephaly. Sarah immediately had a very caring and kind demeanor and was so very patient with our baby; diaper changes and all! She was able to lend more insight into the “why’s” that I had as a mom and was able to design a program that fit in easily to our daily life. While our son’s torticollis dissipated through regular exercise, I was still relieved to be already visiting Sarah as I felt that our baby was not meeting the milestones at the expected age. She continued to support him through attainable exercises and comfort me and all of my mom worries. Throughout my son’s program, I was also receiving care from Sarah in my postpartum recovery. I had been experiencing pain and sensations throughout my back and sides that I had never experienced before. Again, Sarah was able to provide valuable insights and an easy-to-follow program that quite literally fixed all of my ailments. Not only did the exercise program help expedite my post-partum recovery, but Sarah was also able to offer dry needling which is a complete game changer. I feel as though the dry needling helped support my range movement which further supplemented the exercise program. I am so grateful that we found Big Rock Chiropractic to support our family during our postpartum journey. It is hard to trust anyone with your baby, but you feel like a part of their team as soon as you walk in the door and are greeted by name; the front desk team is always so kind and accommodating. There were even moments when my baby was fussy and there was always a team member who would offer to play with him while I focused on my appointment. I was very anxious to find rural postpartum care after moving out of the city, but Big Rock has completely renewed my faith in finding quality care regardless of your proximity to large, urban areas.

Fantastic experience: I came to Big Rock after several years of regular adjustments with another practitioner without measurable improvement to my chronic back pain. During a particularly bad flair up that was not improving I decided to try Dr. Caitlin. She listened to my concerns, requested some xrays, and with those results also included physiotherapy (Max is also great) and suggested follow up with my primary caregiver. The combination of physio (personalized excericise and treatment plan) and targeted chiropractic treatment has been a game changer. Fantastic experience: I have been seeing Dr. Caitlin for over 10 years now. She has seen me through two full pregnancies and currently half way through my third. She is truly the only person I trust to adjust my self and my kiddos. She is thoughtful and gentle with her adjustments. As I have scoliosis and Rheumatoid Arthritis, I can say confidently that she has helped me stay upright and moving through all my pregnancies. She also has my husband as a patient, who has had multiple sports injuries over the years and he says “ she is the only chiropractor that actually helps and I don’t feel ripped off when I leave”. Not only does she specialize in pre-post natal care, but she also is amazing with little ones and with everyone it seems! I truly recommend her to everyone in my life, as I trust her completely to help heal where she can, and if she can’t, she can refer out for further testing when something bigger is suspected. Fantastic experience: My 4 year old daughter had a huge growth spurt and started having difficulty walking and it was initially chalked up to growing pains. Fantastic experience: Update: I started also seeing Barbra for massage and I have to say she is the best RMT ever. Her medical knowledge is 2nd to none, her technique is targeted, instantly effective and not painful at all. I can breathe diaper , stand taller and am on the road to recovery. The combination of hers and Dr Carson for chiro have change my life. Went in due to being locked in the neck with corresponding soft tissue strain. Was able to have back to back appointments and increased range of movement with each appointment. The team are all very nice and caring and the Dr was very methodical and great bedside manner. Fully recommend.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Caitlin is the best chiropractor that I’ve seen in my life and I’ve seen a lot of chiropractors. She has fixed chronic issues that I didn’t even mention to her as they weren’t primary issues at the time. But that’s just how good she is, she’ll fix things you didn’t even know were related to misalignment. She really helped me feel like myself postpartum and she helped my (at the time) 4 month old with torticollis tremendously. She is worth the visit!

I’ve been seeing Caitlin for over 5 years now and she has taken such great care of me throughout all my injuries and general appointments. She is so so lovely and extremely knowledgeable. Dr. Zietz took the time to explain everything to me and was so patient. She is extremely knowledgeable, kind and caring. The office is clean, and all the staff I've met are so lovely. She first saw my son who at the time was having some sleeping difficulties and chiropractic care seemed to help settle him and give him more comfort which improved his sleep! Fantastic experience: I came in to Big Rock Chiropractic, Physiotherapy & Massage in the summer and could barely walk. I met with Dr Caitlyn and we discussed my issues. She was able to get me in for an x-ray to see what was going on right away and we started treatment. She is absolutely great! I then incorporated some physio with Sarah which was awesome! She is patient and very knowledgeable. She was able to give me exercises that helped me with my mobility. I then tried massage and have the wonderful woman Barb taking care of me. I am always amazed and get a little anatomy lesson every time. Fantastic experience: I have been receiving physiotherapy treatments from Sarah Maetche for the past 4 or 5 weeks for a severe stiff neck. By severe, I mean very little mobility and terrible pain. In my time with Sarah, my neck has gotten progressively better, to the point that I almost have full range of motion! I’m so relieved and appreciative for what Sarah has done for me. This is a condition that I have had since May of this year. I only wish I had gone for treatment with Sarah back then. The staff at Big Rock Chiropractic, Physiotherapy & Wellness are tremendous.
