The team has been incredibly welcoming, supportive, and knowledgeable throughout my learning experience. I’ve had the opportunity to build and progress exercise programs, shadow physiotherapists, and gain hands-on experience in a professional clinical environment. The staff truly care about both their patients and students, and I’ve learned so much about rehabilitation, patient care, and exercise prescription during my time here.

She worked with me for several weeks leading up to my half marathon to work through hip pain while running and I was able to run the race completely pain free! She has been such a lifesaver. Fantastic experience: Dean and his team are great! I came to the clinic with a chronic issue that I badly needed relief from. I had previously seen several different medical professionals and unfortunately had no luck until I tried Mountainview Therapeutics. Dean was able to pinpoint the problem area in my foot (sorry Dean, I forgot the name of the muscle already ) and give me exercises that have so far completely resolved the issue! Plus the team is professional and personable, making you feel comfortable while getting treatment. Highly recommend

He is also a real motivator and kept me focused during my recovery from a knee replacement. Furthermore, the clinic is very professional and well run.

Along with manageable and suitable exercise plans, IMS needling and active release for effective pain management, a few of the best qualities of the physios: helping one understand the healing curve after injury, teaching proper body mechanics for tasks performed in the workplace, and really REALLY listening to my goals and my concerns along the way. I could go on and on just to begin to share how helpful and inspiring this business, that operates out of 2 locations, has been to my life. I have walked in there feeling all sorts of ways, and always left feeling more enlivened and empowerd. Mountainview's front desk staff are the best! They are all so kind, and super efficient with direct billing, very responsive and quick with booking appointments and bulk receipts for tax purposes: the ultimate book ends to the experience. Plus, the music playing almost always makes my day!

Fantastic experience: I tore my shoulder moving a hot tub in the morning, and was in the worst pain. I was in to see someone that afternoon. Dean checked me out and explained what I had done to myself. He used illustrations and models of the hurt area to help me understand what not to do to irritate it. He taped me up and I went from incredible pain to almost none. I have been to Mountainview Therapeutics before and they have always help me get through and fixed my injuries. If you are hurt or just sore I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Finding a great RMT is difficult these days so I feel fortunate to have found Shelly Olney. She has a background as a first responder which I feel gives her insight and empathy which help her home in on trouble spots. Her knowledge of human physiology is impressive and aids me in understanding my own body and how it functions. Her treatments are a perfect mix of relaxation and relief and I certainly look forward to them.

I have been to several other Physiotherapist in Campbell River and Dear is so far the best there is. His knowledge of how the body works and he explains everything so that you can understand why things aren't working, is such a skill that no one else has considered divulging. Fantastic experience: Amazing front staff to accommodate booking needs. Dean has been great putting me back together after my mountain bike accidents and life's blunders. The dry needling to all those sore spots is amazing! Cannot get over how poking a needle into a painful muscle resets it and allows me to progress. The exercises he prescribes are easy to fit into life's routine and are effective. Stacey has been great helping my husband figure out his shoulder issues and working to address the back and neck pain that comes with muscle imbalances. Thanks Mountainview team. Fantastic experience: I have degenerative disc disease as well as moderate to severe nerve pain. Dean Clark has treated me for both with excellent one on one treatment. Using both IMS and joint manipulation he has given me relief in some tough times. The entire staff is knowledgeable, friendly and totally professional. I would recommend this clinic 100%.

Fantastic experience: I was having awful sciatic pain and Dean helped immensely! He gave me a few stretches to do and a schedule with how often to do them. I got relief very quickly and was able to start sleeping again. If anyone has sciatic pain, get into physio…you don’t need to be suffering through that pain!!!

Fantastic experience: I had collarbone reconstruction surgery and had an appointment with Vanessa Wu to make a game plan for the physical therapy I would require. There are a lot of issues I've been having , and it could have been one or more of many things causing them. Vanessa took the time to evaluate all possibilities from nerve to muscle to ligament issues, etc. I was very impressed with her methodology and knowledge. I feel that she was able to pinpoint my issues. I'm confident that if I just follow her instructions and do the work, my issues will be resolved. It is a relief to have her guidance. Mountainview Therapy has two excellent locations. It's been no problem getting an appointment that fits my schedule. You can also get online appointments! I have not been impressed with other clinics in town and am happy to settle in with Mountainview on my road to recovery.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Mountainview Therapeutics for about three years now, initially for chronic pain due to fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome, but more recently and specifically for shoulder pain and then hip pain. Oh the joys of turning 60! With their knowledge, experience and expertise, Dean Clark and Stacey Sanderson provided exceptional care. But, Mountainview Therapeutics offers much more than high quality physiotherapy services. The two locations are convenient and the ambience at each one is welcoming: clean, airy, and open. Fantastic experience: I come here for both physio and massage therapy and have had nothing but great experiences. They usually deal directly with your insurance so you are almost never out of pocket. Stacy and Sabrina are also just wonderful to talk to.

Fantastic experience: I went to physio at Mountain View and saw Dean. I’ve had such great experiences there and highly recommend them. He helped me immensely with my excruciating hip pain, I only had to go twice to be treated and taught exercises. I’m still doing them 3 years later. Her knowledge far exceeded my understanding, but she took the time to help me understand what we were doing and why. Fantastic experience: Friendly and attentive staff. Reception was warm and welcoming. Physiotherapist was easy to talk to, informative, and helpful. The clinic itself is top-notch in facility appearance and apparent equip on hand. I just ate the rather generously-sized chocolate that came with the appointment reminder card, which doesn't hurt either for a positive first impression.
