Expérience fantastique: TLDR: The care and expertise that I received from Cody at Reach Physiotherapy has been top notch. I would highly recommend booking an appointment for any hand or wrist related injuries (especially climbing related injuries). I experienced some right wrist soreness from repetitive mouse movements at work and brushed it off. Later that week I went rock climbing and strained my wrist. After resting it for a couple of weeks, I noticed that it didn’t get any better so I figured I better go to physio to get it checked out. Luckily I saw online that Reach Physiotherapy specialized in hand and wrist injuries. I booked an initial assessment with Cody since it mentioned that he was also a rock climber in his bio. During the initial assessment, Cody ran through a series of questions to narrow down the issue. Then we went through a variety of diagnostic movements until he was confident that he knew what the issue was. Throughout the entire process, Cody was logical and systematic as he explained his thoughts behind the diagnostic. He then created a customized rehabilitation workout plan to strengthen the impacted tendons. After just a couple of weeks I have seen big improvements in my wrist mobility and pain reduction and look forward to the rest of the swift recovery process. I would highly recommend working with Cody for any hand or wrist injuries especially for anyone with climbing related injuries!

Cody patiently listened to my history and concerns and created an easy-to-follow program for me to rebuild my strength and stamina. I took the initiative to do all of his exercises at home daily and now, within 7 weeks of discharge from hospital, am happy to say that I'm back to full strength and feeling great. Expérience fantastique: I was referred to Reach after tearing the TFCC ligament in my right wrist, an injury that often leads to surgical intervention and chronic pain. After working with Steven for six months, my wrist is pain free and almost completely back to normal, an outcome only 1-in-10 achieve. I lend this outcome to Steven and the incredible team working at their clinic. It was evident from day one that this group of specialists developed Reach to provide the best possible hand and wrist outcomes with evidence based approaches and in-house custom brace fabrication. Expérience fantastique: Chronic vertigo I have been suffering with vertigo symptoms for approximately eight years. I went to many different physios and doctors and naturopath and chiropractors and massage therapists. I went to see Nathan at Physio and he spent an hour and a half diagnosing me which had never been done before. After he completed that assessment, he scheduled a treatment. I’m not going to lie. It was pretty awful, but in one session, my vertigo is gone. This is life-changing for me. I could not bend down or get out of bed easily. I would recommend Nathan at Reach physiotherapy 1000%. It has truly been life altering.

Expérience fantastique: LIFE SAVING! I'm 27 but my body is much older. I've had 2 tumors and 3 hip surgeries, been run over, fell and injured my back, etc. Needless to say my quality of life hasn't been good and few things have given relief. I've been to pain specialists, acupuncture, other physios, Chiropractic, massage, reiki, somatic therapists, and many more. NOTHING has helped like dry needling and physio with Steven Cindric. The quality of my life has improved more in a few months at REACH than it has in 10 years from anything else. I was in so much pain anything I did just led to more pain, nothing could get through all of the tension to bring relief. It did get worse before it got better, but the relief it brought is life changing. 11/10

Cody, his assistant Sam, and their entire team are extremely kind, patient and dedicated to recovery of their patients. I had to reschedule a couple of appointments, and their receptionist Charlene was able to do this so quickly, and was always able to accommodate. Cody always checked in - even over email, too. I was super nervous about this injury, but seeing how in depth Cody will go to explain everything, and how reassuring the team is, I felt very comfortable, very quickly. Expérience fantastique: I absolutely LOVE this clinic, prior to finding this place I felt so hopeless and helpless up until I got Cody Garner as my personal PT expert on HAND therapy which was my most concerned problem, first two weeks, I swear on my little dachshund weiner dog, I saw progress!! Cody & Sam (I’ve only worked with them for the time being and I have nothing but nice things to say about them, along with the other staff members, everyone is so welcoming, and friendly. Couldn’t recommend this place enough. They’re great. Take my word for it. If you’re someone like me that has suffered from any kind of brain injury, and you have that drive and faith that you can regain your mobility or strength back, these are your people. I treat this clinic as if I’m at a gym, Cody is my “personal trainer”. They have most amenities in the clinic anyhow.

Expérience fantastique: After struggling with DeQuervains Tendosynovitis for a couple months (left thumb) I was fortunately referred to Reach Sports Physiotherapy. Within the first few minutes of meeting with Steve he had confirmed my condition and was going to work on treatment as well as walking me through the recovery program. Happy to after only a few weeks of treatment, and some self discipline with the program, my pain is gone and I'm returning to normal function. In addition to dry needling, he has provided me with one on one rehab! I cannot recommend Nathan enough, for not only post surgical rehab, but all other physio needs as well! Expérience fantastique: I had dislocated three of my fingers in a biking accident, and was partially through treatment when I was due to be in Edmonton for a couple of weeks, and I was lucky enough to find Reach for my hand physio! Nathan did an incredible job of getting up to speed on the accident, what had happened, and what we should do to get my recovery back on track! From adjusting my splint and providing compression sleeves on the first visit, to prescribing me multiple exercises and ensuring I know how to do them, the care I was given exceeded my expectations! He was incredibly knowledgeable, and taught me interesting facts about my fingers and the injury, was incredibly passionate about his job and getting his patients back to 100%, and was overall just a fun guy to hang out with during my three sessions! I almost hope the next time I'm back in Edmonton I get another hand injury, as I'll know exactly where to go!

Expérience fantastique: So roughly in july i had the fun of a fall injury incident at work in BC and one messed thing lead to another which put in back in alberta where i was sent to a un-named physio therapist in my locale area where after a my first visit i called my case worker to find somewhere else and they set me up with Reach where i would end up meeting Nicole and Steve both of which are amazing at there jobs sadly Nicole got the fun of dealing with me first and yeah she had me stop doing the things i was already told to do befor the set backs would be to bad.. showing me the knowledge they have there surpasses some other places with amazement. Anyways Nicole with me the suggestion of dry needling to help with the pain and ability to move came up at which point I meet Steve like Nicole extreamly friendly and try to make you relaxed about everything that going on. So that said the first needling was not what i expected i didnt hurt but man I left thinking no thats not happening again until a few hours later and my god my arm felt about 20 times better that being said its been a couple weeks and since the first time i got needle till now my grip strength went from 30lb to now just over 90lb were talking a month which to me is amazing for that kinda improvement... my physio is still on going and if i had to start this over again I would be coming to Reach Sports Physiotherapy again hands down the best thing that could have happened to me since this nightmare began.

Expérience fantastique: I had gone to 2 other physiotherapy clinics (as part of my WCB claim) and my healing progressed the best and the fastest with Reach Physiotherapy. All the staff work as a great team and the environment is open and very supportive and friendly. I come from a background in the arts, so I’ve felt that I don’t fit in well in physio clinics because everyone is focusing and talking sports. I felt genuinely comfortable and heard with my hand injury and it was taken care of in a very professional and caring manor. I cannot recommend this clinic enough. Part of the speed of my recovery was the dry needling that I received by Steve. While it is not a comfortable procedure to have done on your hand. It’s exceptionally effective and it’s truly what made my hand recovery go as fast as it did. Thank you to the whole team at Reach Physiotherapy.

Expérience fantastique: Ended up injuring my hand in August 2023 and was told about Reach since they specialized in hands. Could not of been happier! They worked to tailor my program recovery to my needs as I slowly healed and was able to do more. As well as specialized the workout's to aspects of my job to help me get back to work safely! I worked with Steve and Sam for the most part and felt so supported throughout the entire time I was at the clinic. I did get to interact with lots of the other staff and would gladly work with other therapists there. I was able to complete my program and get back to work thanks to their support!

Expérience fantastique: I am so amazed at how far physiotherapy has come as a whole! It used to be for recovery from and injury or surgery. Now it is more about preventative/not getting worse, and improving function and life-quality by means other than a bandaid/pharmaceuticals! Cody was fantastic at testing and confirming my thumb issue and prescribing a CMC brace that brought instant relief and better function. I had been using a brace designed more for Dequervain's which he ruled out by testing. Once the joint calms down he will start me on an exercise program to improve thumb function. My next appt he will be dealing with my mild Dupytren's Contracture to prevent it from getting worse. One body part at a time! I have hope now where Drs have left me with little!

Expérience fantastique: Easily accessible location, easily scheduled session, efficient staff for mallet finger splinting as well as lower limb strength assessment and prescription of 5 exercises. I had heard about "Hand Clinic" and brought my 5th digit mallet finger to be assessed. It had been injured 5 years previously. Nicole measured 20 degrees flexion deformity. With appropriate splinting, I improved to a point where I was doing extension exercises with only 5 degrees flexion deformity. My stamina on ice skates is yet to be compared to the poor results I had last year before doing the physiotherapy exercises prescribed by Steven for this season.

He got right to the source of the problem, prescribed rehab exercises that were easy to follow and effective, was attentive to my feedback about what was working, and followed up outside our sessions to check on my progress, as well as suggesting adaptations to my workout routine that would support my recovery. It was a really positive experience and, best of all, it worked.

Expérience fantastique: I'll save you the research.. I done it myself and glad I did! The facility and atmosphere is top notch but the staff makes the place worth what it is. I didn't get to meet everyone personally but Cody helped me work through my issues and I can tell you he knows his stuff and then some. Always makes time for you and likes to know you. Charlene is a sweetheart I hope she's paid what she's worth. She booked in my appointments that fit with my schedule and help me connect with Cody when I had issues. As for everyone else I'm sure there operating on the same level. Comfortable and friendly atmosphere. If I need physio again I know where I'm going.

However, once I stepped into Reach Physiotherapy I could tell this place I different. From the friendly receptionist, to my physiotherapist Cody, I have been treated with excellent customer service, compassion and expert medical care. I have been blown away by the care and expertise that has been shown to me by my physiotherapist. Cody is brilliant, he listens, answers any questions or concerns you have and takes a personal interest in you as a patient and in the treatment plan and expert care that he delivers. I have seen a noticeable improvement in my hand since starting physio. I had a CMC arthroplasty with a tendon graft which is a complicated, painful hand surgery. At times I was not sure if I would regain proper use of my hand. Since starting physiotherapy at Reach Physiotherapy and Hand Clinic my hand is doing well and hopefully I will regain full use of my hand. If you require hand therapy, this is the clinic to go to. You will not be disappointed.

I had an issue in both my hands flare up that started to affect me at my job, the gym, and just day to day life. Upon entering the facility I was pleasantly surprised with their set up, it’s tidy, new good equipment, a lot of natural light, clean… My physiotherapist Cody put a lot of effort into evaluation my knee injury, testing where I’m at in terms of strength, and took time to educate me and explain the present issue I have and the future plan for my recovery. I have tendinitis in my arms and Steve recommended dry needling, which has been very effective! I notice immediate improvements after each session. On top of the treatment working well, Steve has been very good about answering questions I have about how the treatment works, how to maintain the results, and what I can do to prevent pain in the future. I came in with my hand condition was assessed, a splint designed and made, exercises taught and recorded for me to use and a lot of knowledge shared with a smile. Expérience fantastique: It’s a miracle. I had a great fall at work in March. Unfortunately, I had not only complete right AC joint separation, but also Shearing injury to the left frontal lobe of my brain. I was suffered from dizziness, headaches, insomnia and emotional changes, memory loss and many more… I was sent to Nathan Schmidt in May for post concussion treatments. I was nervous at beginning, but immediately felt welcomed by everyone in his office. Nathan is very knowledgeable, friendly, caring person. My condition was improved rapidly everyday under his treatments. He gave me the courage to do brain games, physical excises, also he had my fifteen years old son involved in my treatments. He also give me the courage to complete 170KM, 10000+ elevation TMB hike in Europe, which was booked last year. The best was I were accompanied by my son, who knew my condition. I am still under Nathan’s treatments now for my shoulder and back. If you are having similar issues like mine, I would definitely recommend him to you.

I started a bilateral cubital tendonitis + bilateral carpal tunnel syndrome postoperative rehab program. Expérience fantastique: I was referred to Reach by a friend where I saw Cody Garner for issues with knee pain and issues with my shoulder. I was in pain every time I squatted and my shoulder issues were causing nerve pain/ numbness. Cody is super smart and was very throughout when assessing both problems. He came up with very effective treatment plans and after weeks of doing corrective exercises, I've seen huge improvements! My shoulder issues have fully subsided and my knee pain has reduced.
