Expérience fantastique: From the very first moment I called Local Physiotherapy for help, I was very impressed with Kara, front line representative, who was so helpful, and compassionate and went above and beyond to ensure that I was fit in a very tight schedule with Derek. I was also very impressed with Derek, who was referred to me by my GP and recommended by my ENT. Derek is so professional, kind and understanding and provided me with exercises to be done at home prior to my next appointment. I am so relieved to know that my well being is in the hands of Derek, Physiotherapist, who is proficient in his field of expertise.

I actually got a diagnosis from Joe for what I have been living with. I just have to follow the exercises he gave me and I know I will on the healing path.

Expérience fantastique: Went for an assessment as a first time client to the clinic. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. I was instantly made comfortable and welcomed, which was much appreciated! When called in, I was seen by Roland, who is an extraordinary therapist sans doubts. Roland went above and beyond than merely providing some movement exercises. I highly appreciated the fact that Roland took time to make a connection with me, and explained to me in detail the mechanism of my injury and how exactly it can be treated. I thoroughly enjoyed the conversations. The staff made sure that I was very well taken care of. Couldn't have asked for anything different. Highly recommended!

Expérience fantastique: I was very impressed with this facility. When I called for an appointment with Derek the girl on the phone was pleasant and appeared to be interested in my reason for coming. When I entered the front door I was greeted by a welcoming smile and was put at ease immediately. Derek was most knowledgeable and did a very thorough assessment of my condition and tested to rule out other possible causes. He answered all my questions, reviewed what I knew. He had a plan for what to do next—if needed. He is a positive person and does an excellent job. I would most highly recommend this facility to anyone. Great place!

Katlyn, my therapist, was very thorough and professional and friendly. They gave me exercises and showed me how to do them and didn't try to get me to book a follow up. Just said to come back if the exercises didn't do the trick. Very happy.

Expérience fantastique: Everyone is very nice,my Vertigo was fixed my first visit after suffering for a couple of weeks, I was given the video exercise to do the Epley Manuver myself at home if my Vertigo ever returns,I had Derek as my physiotherapist he explained everything in detail the procedure for Vertigo and fixed it the same day I have nothing but good things to say about Derek and the staff very nice people Thank You

Then I met Derek the Vestibular Rehabilitation Physiotherapist; he is great! and he made me feel like all will be well soon. He listened /explained/ and we went through different exercises pertaining to my specific problem; it sure made me realize how complicated the human body is. All I have to say is: Thank you Derek!! Expérience fantastique: I have been a patient of Derek for several years, and have received treatment for knee and shoulder injuries from sports, as well as a neck injury from a car accident. He has been extremely helpful and knowledgeable in the rehabilitation process, and in developing programs to prevent further injuries. He and his staff are very knowledgeable and friendly.

Expérience positive: Every time I have gone to LOCAL Physiotherapy I've had an excellent experience. The staff is friendly and courteous. They always give me tips on how to improve my health. I've never felt that they want me to keep coming to appointments if is not necessary. They show you what you need to do to improve, give you homework then do a few follow up appointments to make sure you are on the mend. I strongly suggest you see the LOCAL for you physiotherapy needs.

Expérience fantastique: I have attended LOCAL Physiotherapy on a number of occasions, for different reasons. Derrick has been amazing in his diagnosis and treatment of positional vertigo, ‘frozen’ hip and tendinitis in the upper arm. He is an exceptional listener, and spends the required time working on the area with the appropriate and effective treatment. Derrick is very effective in providing activities and exercises for independent work. He works to get the area healed as quickly and thoroughly as possible. Overall, LOCAL Physio is well thought out and well equipped. There is nothing mediocre about this place!

It's very clean, has great parking right out front, and all the staff were really friendly and helpful. Expérience fantastique: I was referred to see Roland Lavallee (Rolly) by my physiatrist (pain specialist) in January 2023. Rolly is a fantastic physiotherapist. He answers all your questions and concerns and puts together an exercise program for you. He goes the extra mile to make sure his patients are well looked after in every way and forms an excellent team with your doctors. I contacted him a couple days after my first appointment with some concerns about the exercises. He responded immediately and was concerned about something I told him so he contacted my physiatrist and got him to contact me right away! This amazed me!! I’ve had a lot of physiotherapists in Winnipeg and none have ever been as caring, responsive, knowledgeable and proactive as Rolly! So I give him top marks for being the best physiotherapist I’ve ever had!

He is knowledgeable, caring, kind but knows how to kick my butt when I need it!! Now that I have developed some long term damage, I value the participation of Joe in my recovery! He has the "therapist" part of his job down to an art!! I know with his help, I will continue to heal!! I must add that the staff are all phenomenal and friendly!! They always know which forms are needed and have them ready for me. I appreciate everything Local Physiotherapist has to offer!! And only minutes from my home....extra bonus points lol!!

Expérience fantastique: Jackie and I have been being assessed and treated at local physio. Our treatment from Kara , Michelle and Rolland have been phenomenal. Not only do they treat u as a patient they treat you like family. They go above and beyond what you would expect. The knowledge that they have in assessing and treating and advocating for you is unreal. I can say in my experience that they all aided in my recovery and helped to loose 100 pounds in seven months. They aided with tools in strengthening my knee after 2 surgeries and were very supportive and advocated to get appropriate devices in for recovery. I am an emergency nurse. I appreciate all there care when you walk in the door and to the end of treatment. They are the staff who open there heart and make themselves available anytime. I would recommend local physio. All of the staff at local physio I thank you and I appreciate all that you have done for me and my family and many others. You guys are my hero’s and I thank you for all your hard work. Hopefully we will not get injured again but if we do local physio is our place of treatment where we will go. God bless you all.

Expérience fantastique: This place is clean, easily accessible and the therapists as well as support staff are all professional and courteous. I was experiencing extreme dizziness, nausea. and balance issues. I saw Derek for 2 visits and Joe for 1. They gave me a set of exercises to undertake at home and assessed each week. My dizziness decreased significantly each week until I was near normal functioning again. I am grateful for their advice and help. I would recommend them to anyone experiencing any vertigo issues without hesitation.

Expérience fantastique: Very pleased with assessment of my situation! Rolly was very thorough, was able to ask any questions about my therapy that will have to be done. Acupuncture procedure was used for my situation at this point, instructions and pictures of stretches to be done every day, I liked the online access to see the stretches with videos and I am able to keep track of my path to wellness. Great place, service here has always been the same for the past 25 years!

I called the first place and made an appointment but I immediately didn't have a good first impression but made the appointment anyway. I then contacted LOCAL Physiotherapy and immediately received impeccable and very friendly service. I made an appointment right away and was excited to be going there. Once I arrived to my appointment, everyone was amazing, friendly and very helpful. My physiotherapist Joe was so patient, considerate and explained everything so that I could understand about my surgery and the steps we will take for my recovery. I have been in the Customer Service industry for over 35 years and I know what it is to go above and beyond customer service and everyone has exceeded my expectations.
